OrionsFire answered Tuesday May 3 2005, 2:27 pm: Yes, because of the fluctuation in your hormones. When your period is coming, start using Clearisil or another acne fighter the week before. Otherwise, just use it all the time to help fight breakouts. [ OrionsFire's advice column | Ask OrionsFire A Question ]
xoxoPrettyNPinkxoxo answered Sunday May 1 2005, 9:07 pm: Yes this is very true! It is caused by hormones, and when you are around the time of your period or are on your period your skin is more prone to break outs because your hormonesare really active.
gakkuhideto answered Sunday May 1 2005, 9:56 am: Maybe. I usually break out when I'm very stressed, or if I use a ton of makeup (obviously). During your period, you would be very hormonal and often very stressed, so I'm sure it is possible to breakout. But probably not all the time, and some girls probably don't. Karen answered Sunday May 1 2005, 9:10 am: Yes, it's true that you can breakout when you get your period. It's just how your hormones react but it doesn't happen to some girls. Every girl is different but this is true. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
Daisy answered Sunday May 1 2005, 7:29 am: Sometimes yes, because your hormones change just before you get your period every month. It's perfectly normal so don't worry. [ Daisy's advice column | Ask Daisy A Question ]
