I used to take those when i lived in Virginia. They aren't that hard. Just relax, dont worry and have a clear mind. That's the only advice i can give you. Eat a good breakfast too.
Hope i helped! ]
Those are coming up in....what, two weeks? I am dreading them. However, try your best to relax. As I haven't even remotely thought about them. #1- Get plenty of sleep. Yeah, very hypocritical coming from the girl who gets about 3-4 hours a night. But seriously, being focused is one of the most important things. I actually fell asleep during the writing portion in March. Thank God, I am not one to snore. #2- Take your time. You have as long as you need. And remember to read all directions and questions many times, or until you are sure you comprehend them. Keep in mind you can always skip over the ones you are not sure of and come back to them. So, don't feel rushed. #3- (I am so bullshitting you with this numbering system by the way.:-P)Eliminate all answers that you know are incorrect. Some of the answers you can tell by common sense are not right, so cross them out. They let you write on the tests for a reason.#4- Eat breakfast. I have read somewhere that blueberries trigger your memory. I honestly have no idea whether or not they are in season at the moment. But, I mean, you don't have to eat blueberries, just eat something. You should know your own body by now. Maybe sugar helps, protein,or perhaps carbohydrates? It just depends on the person. #5- Be comfortable. Wear something that you will be able to sit in for hours and not feel the least bit different in. Cargo pants work. Ah, and remember to bring a jacket. Being since everybody has a different body temperature, teachers turn the air conditioning (or heater) on what they think is right. Um, I freeze in class 98% of the time, but the teacher is comfortable, that's all that matters. But it does affect your ability to concentrate. Let's be honest, nobody wants to mutiply pi by every number that exists when you have goosebumps on your body. #6- Have a good luck charm. It's like a placebo. Whether it be a penny, or a fake rabbit's foot, or even a pair of underwear. I am sure I could continue on with the cliches... ]
The sol'z were soooo easy for me... and im badd @ takin tests... and i've passes all of my solz... even ones that i didn't study for at all because i didn't need the credit (history) just relax when you take it... and you'll do just fine... GOOD LUCK :) ]
I'm guessing those are those standardized tests that everyone has to take now. I've taken two for every class and they aren't that bad. I had trouble on the math one but the others are mostly just multiple choice/short essay answers. Good luck! ]
yea, im taking the sol's this year too. just dont get stressed out or anything. relax and do your best! =) ]
