Just try talking to him. Tell him that he means a lot to you, but you feel like you can never talk to him because he's either never home or he's always with friends. sorry this is so long but please take the time to read it. my best friend...lets call her Alyssa, she has been my best friend for about 2 years. we've had our fights and everything like a normal friendship. right? haha. but the past winter, we didnt hang out at all because her dad started to hate me. so she wasnt allowed to hang out with me. once he found me, my brother, and her walking home from school together and he got so pissed. he was yelling at her so loudly outside, in front of all the neighbors. so we never let him see us hang out together. but hes in the army or something and he leaves home for a long period of time (like a month and a half) and then her mom started hating me for no reason. and so we never were allowed to chill out together. and we live half a block away. BUT now, her mom likes me..and her dad is gone but they dont tell him that alyssa is allowed to come over to my house now. her mom lets alyssa come to my house everyday now! haha. but maybe not everyday. but im wondering..isnt this wrong? i mean, her dad thinks that his daughter is staying home but shes actually haning out with me. is that wrong? alyssa is so cool and i really want to keep being her best friend. It isn't necessarily right to sneak around behind her dad's back, but if you guys are really best friends then I wouldn't let something like that come between the two of you. I would just ask her what her dad doesn't like about you & fix the problem & I'm sure her dad would change his mind & it would be easier for you two to hang out. I hope everything works out for you! I can't find the perfect boyfriend. I tried sticking to one boy but something messes it up. I just hate walking down the halls in school and see couples around me. I never tried putting myself out there,lol. Is there something wrong with me? I sometimes think I'd be lonley forever. I daydream of me in a steady,smooth relationship. The right guy will come along. You just have to give it time. You'll have many boyfriends, but only one will truly change your life. You just have to wait for him & he will come. I liked this one guy, weston. i thought he was a total sweetie and he always made me feel good about myself. he said he liked me too, but then i was over with him and some friends and i hugged my friend goodbye and he called me a whore but according to his friends hes just mad and still totally likes me. the thing is, im not big on forgiving people after they've just called me a whore so, yea. i still like him a little. then, there's this other guy, chris and he is also totally sweet and cute and i absolutley heart him. he made me feel a little better about the whole weston situation and he says he's starting to like me. well, i liked him a lot a little while ago but i never thought he would ever like me. so i also like him a little bit. so basically, my question is should i forget about weston and become closer to chris and who knows what might follow, since he DID call me a whore. or should i just wait til weston gets over his issue with me hugging other guys? im the kinda girl that just hugs all of her friends, ya know? so should i change who i am for weston or stay how i am and go for chris? If you're the kind of girl who likes to hug all of her friends, I would go for Chris. You shouldn't have to change yourself for a guy. He shouldn't get jealous over a simple hug. I would understand if you were all over your friend, but all you did was hug him & thats perfectly normal for you to want to hug one of your friends. I hug mine all the time! So I say go for Chris. Don't make out with someone just to make out with someone. Wait for the right guy to come along. Don't rush it! It'll happen sooner than you think & besides, you're 13 so you still have plenty of time.
It is normal to think that you will be a bad kisser. I think everyone thinks that before making out with someone, but once its happening...you don't even think about it!

ok, well i really have liked this guy for 2 years, i think i love him. he knew, he hated me for it. lots of horrible stuff happened. now i'm going to a different school next year & i'm almost over him, which is good. i met a guy at this school who i really like [through the drama camp], & i really want him to know how i feel about him & how i can't stop thinking about him, but i don't want to tell him i like him, because he barely knows me. i don't want any of my friends to do it for me because i don't want to cause any tention between us. all the guys i've ever had feelings for have hated me in return & i don't want this to happen again. someone please give me some advice. i'll rate you for it if you want. I would try talking to him & getting to know him better. Eventually, you should hint around about who you like & ask him who he likes. Thats what I always do. He might even like you & maybe hes too shy to say it or he doesn't know how to say it. I hope everything works out!

Ask him who he likes. Hint around about who you like without giving away that it's him. Maybe he'll catch on & maybe he even likes you! If he doesn't give you a straight answer about who he likes, just try talking to him & tell him how you feel. I know that you might be shy or afraid of what happens at first, but you only live once. Okay, well I dated this boy back in February. Our relationship only lasted a week because he kissed someone else, and so did I. We got back together a couple days later, and that only lasted about 2 weeks. A month or so after, he got a new girlfriend and was with her for a month. After he broke it off with her, he started 'talking' to me again. However, it was then that he had to leave all summer on vacation, and I didn't get to talk to him for over a month. Now he's back and wants to get back together. The problem is, he is the boy in school that every girl wants, and every guy wants to be. I have major jealousy issues, and it kills me having to deal with every girl being in love with him. I don't feel like I'm good enough. He's leaving again today for another two weeks, and wants to date once he returns, he wants to get back together. I love this boy... I just don't feel like getting my heart broken by him for the third time. What should I do?

I think you just need to talk to him about it & make sure that nothing like that happens again. Tell him how much he means to you & that you're worried about your heart getting broken.
If you both still have feelings for each other, then obviously you both saw something in each other that wasnt worth letting go of. & you're obviously good enough because he doesn't want any of the other girls that like him. He wants you!

Tell an adult as soon as possible if he is seriously thinking of doing this. I know that you think that he'll be mad at you for doing this, but it's better than him taking his life.
A friend of mine had the same problem but I didnt know him that well at the time & I thought he was just talking. I didn't think he would actually do anything. A week later, he tried to overdose & was in the hospital for a week.
After that, I took him seriously & the next time he talked about doing something like that, I called his mom & she got him help. He wasn't even mad at me. I thought he would be, but he cried & thanked me. Now he's doing a lot better & he doesn't talk about suicide at all.

I know i already talked about this but i dont care. its REALLY BUGGiNG ME. my bestfriend krystal got a new bestfriend heather. and everything about her just kills me. the simplist things. i dont care if im accting immature. i dont want to make new friends. and i dont want to be friends with heather, the one who's stealing krystal away from me. all krystal talks about is heather this and heather that and how GOOD she is. it gets to me, so much. i cry myself to sleep so much. what do i do? i have already told krystal multiple times that i feel left out and ignored. I would just try telling Krystal exactly how you feel. Tell her that you feel left out & that you feel like Heather is replacing you as her best friend. Tell her that you don't want to lose her as your best friend, but she should really try to think of your feelings & include you more if she is really your best friend.
If she doesn't listen, I would just try hanging out with different people while she is hanging out with Heather. Just hang out with her when Heather isn't around since you don't like Heather.

Okay, I'm ususally the one giving the advice, not asking for it, but here goes...
School's going to be starting up again soon which means that the Homecoming activities will be coming up before too long. I was thinking about getting my nails done before the dance. I've never had my nails done before, so this is all new to me. What I want are those arcrylic nails that they don't paint on. I don't know if you know what I'm talking about or not... but they look like real nails, but they're fake. And I don't want the people at the nail salon to paint them either, because the dress I'm going to wear is black and white. I just need to know what this is called so I don't waste my money on something that isn't the right thing. (link)

You were right. They are called acrylic nails. You can get them put on at any nail salon. However, once you get them on - you have to get them filled really often because your nail underneath will start growing and it will look bad unless you get them filled. & when you decide to take them off, your nails will most likely be damaged from having them on.
A french manicure would look cute with a black & white dress, but if you don't want to have damaged nails afterwards, you should just try growing your nails and getting a french manicure. I used a clear polish on my nails for about 2 weeks that helps them grow & it makes them stronger & everyone always thinks that my nails are acrylic nails because they basically look the same & I get french manicures a lot.

I have the same problem because I'm tall. Aeropostale has a good selection of jeans that you can buy. You just find the size that you need & make sure that they're also the long kind. It should have a sticker on the pants that says the size & it will say Long. Hope I helped!

Just be yourself. I was the same way last year & I changed my style so much just to fit in with what was "cool" & what other people liked. That was a mistake. Now I dress how I want, listen to what I want, & act how I want. And I've made a lot of friends that way. The greatest thing about being yourself...is that you know that people like you for who you really are. Don't change just to impress people. Hope I helped!
