For about 4 or 5 years I've liked my best guy friend. We were on and off liek that entire time but he goes to a jewish camp every summer, so we'd always just date other people. And don't get me wrong, during those 4-5 years, I had other boyfriends, not many, but I did. But i always, always liked him. I really think I loved him. But i don't even know if i did, and then, at the end of summer he was in LBI and asked me out. he even wanted me to come down for a few days with his family, i thought it was so sweet :] but my mom wouldn't let me. [btw, our families are friends ..] so we had made it offcial and he was my first kiss. it was always him that i wanted my first kiss to be with. :] he plays guitar and he played our song ... rhcp:i could die for you. but then when school started we never saw eachother and it got awkward, liek i didnt know if i was supposed to hold his hand or not, or if he wanted me too, and hes really smart, and really tall, so when we hugged it was awkard .. but there was this camp girl and she told him [while we were going out] that she wanted to hook up with him. i got mad at him for not denying her. and then things got more awkward and eventually he said we should just be friends and that its better off that way. and he told 2 of my friends that we're not going to get back together and that we're just friends. but the only way i agreed to go out with him is that if he promised we would stay best friends and not be awkward. he broke that promise. and now we havent talked for 3 motnhs and hes so bitter. he said something really mean to my best friend the other day and idk it made me cry. i think i still liek him. but he doesnt liek me. i want him back. but i know thats never gonna happen. please just dont tell me to forget about him. i need help. idk what to do. I can't get him out of my head. someone help me !! any feedback on what i said??

first of all you shouldnt forget him. its your first love and thats a special thing. heartbreak is always hard trust me im 17 and i know. but you have to belive me time really does make it better. it may be a couple months or even a year but it really does make the situation better and youll belive me as time goes by.

Ok so there is this new guy at my school. He has been going here for about 2 weeks almost 3. I kinda like him which is weird because I don't really know him. More like interested I guess. He has 2 of my classes and rides my bus. I really want to talk to him but I really don't know what I would say. I can't ask him his name. I would be a little late for that and would look stupid. So I can't talk to him during class, he sits too far away. So what do you think I should do? I really want to get to know him a little and get him to like me, at least as a friend. I have a close group of best friends & I think I favour one more so than the others, except now she has started to argue with me about everything & ditch me for some other girl. I have tried to talk to her about it and say that this isn't know things usually are between us but she just doesn't get it; consequently, she started to bring up a bunch of topics of how I 'get on her nerves' .. except her reasons all basically relate to me being stronger academically than her, which I don't flaunt. I just don't get it.
I'm pretty sure she will end up completely ditching me, then I'm moving away next year so I guess I'll never see her again. Is this normal? I feel so frustrated by this whole situation. I don't have many friends at my current school so I couldn't imagine losing another. (link)

actually it sounds pretty normal..maybe shes pushing you away so that it wont hurt as much when you move.
maybe shes trying to find new friends before so that she wont be alone.

Hey i feel so embarrassed here but i really need your help... i am 19 years old 20 in December and i cant have sex...i have a boyfriend that is really understanding and helpful we are together nearly one year but i don't expect him to stay around and wait for me. Last year i was diagnosed with P.O.F(Premature Ovarian Failure). I feel that i am not normal but i really do try to have sex. The pain is unreal when we are about to have sex. I get totally embarrassed and just turn away i dont know what to do?
When i was 16 years of age i was forced to have sex with two older men. I am wondering could this be affecting me now??? I am to afraid to mention this to my doctor.
Please say you can give me a 'cure' i am cracking up now.

Yes you deffinitly need to talk to your doctor about this although you might not want to but he could have a way of letting you be able to have sex if he knows whats going on. It obviously affected you mentally and physically as well. So if you really want to have sex with your boyfriend I would talk to your doctor about what happened in your past. Or maybe a psychologist could help.

Talk about your family - pass around family pictures.
Talk about your hobbies - pass around objects or pictures associated with what you like to do.
You could also talk about food and bring in some french food for the class. I would love that ( im taking french 2 course )and it would be different.

He's really nice and smart, but kind of quiet at times. He has a fun personality though and I guess most girls would not consider him "hot" but I like him for who he is. I want someone who I can relate to in a non superficial way, and someone who will help me grow as a person, and hopefully I can do the same for him. The thing is I only see him in one class and he probably does not suspect that I like him. I try to compliment him when I can and talk to him more, but I don't sit next to him so it's kind of hard to. And I don't hang out with him during lunch or outside of school. Basically I need some kind of a way to give him a hint before summer break. I won't see him all summer, so I want to plant some kind of seed in his mind that I like him so that when school starts again, we can hopefully talk more and become closer that way. Any ideas? I think whenever you guys do talk you should exchange emails/myspaces/whatever that way he knows that your interested in talking to him more. Or you could just plain out tell him that you like him. Im taking a psychology class now and my teacher said that if you just say you like him theres a very high chance they will like you back.

Tomorrow is my high school graduation ceremony. The thing is, I'm very uncomfortable and nervous in front of a big group of people. We practiced walking across the stage today, and I was so incredibly nervous and fidgety with all the other seniors watching me. I don't know if I'll be able to go through with it when everyone's attention is on me tomorrow.
If this helps, this is how the ceremony works. They will call my name, I'll walk across the stage, shake hands with the principal and receive my diploma, walk a little more, stop for a picture, and walk back to my seat.

Honestly this is your big day and youll forget about being nervous. The graduation is probably going to be long so there going to call the seniors names fast so its not like youll be the only one whos on the stage at that time. And the only people who will actually notice you is most likely just friends and family because everyone else is focused on there children.

My parents snooped through my stuff. they said that i hadnt been acting myself, and yes, i wasnt. i was really depressed and i had written some suicide letters. well... they found them.
they took me to the hospital for a mental health evaluation and now i have to go to a cousler. I dont tell my parents anything so why would they expect me to tell a total stranger whats going on in my life? I dont know whether i should open up. or if I should just keep my business to myself. Any adive on coping with depression would be nice. and answeing my question is greatly appreciated. Thanks. (link)

If your dealing with depressing and wont talk to your parents or a counsler I think you need to talk to your friends. Belive it or not friends may you know you better than you think. Just open up to them and if there you true friends they wont judge you. If you really having problems with this depression thing you really need to talk to someone who knows you and understands you.
