i will try to make this short for you guys haha. My best friend who i've been friends with since kindergarten got her first boyfriend about a month ago.(we're freshman) Yeah, it's cute and everything, but holy mother of god it can get annoying. It's Sean this, Sean that (her bf). It's non stop details about them and how awesome everything is. All days it's "has he been looking at me...do you think he likes my shirt? what about my hair?" goodness... And then i have to hear about all the stuff he says to her about him loving her and stuff. and she sends me long emails and crap with buttloads of info about their conversations and i cannot take it. I've addressed her politely about it and we're open about things with one another, but she won't stop. IMAGINE NON-STOP QUESTIONS LIKE "ok if sean and my relationship were weighed on a scale on how much he likes me...would our relationship be a sumo wrestler or an annorexic girl?" Yeah. I ignored that one. And it sucks because i just broke up with someone recently and i hate that everything is shoved in my face like that. I am not in anyway jealous, and i know that because i am secure with myself and i do not wish to be in any sort or "relationship" right now. Help please. There are no signs that this mindless chatter between she and an annoyed, attempting-to-ignore-her-me , is going to die down anytime soon.

I'm a freshman highschool girl and this year I've really grown up this year. You could say I've grown into my looks. I stand with the same group of people every morning before classes and every morning I get these little smiles from the guys. They also look at me then when i turn around to look at them they quickly look away and then say something and kinda point at me. Is this a good or bad thing? I think its good but I don't want to get my hopes up too high. So what are the guys saying/thinking? Boys answers would really help but girls should answer too.

If they aren't smiling-- they must be jerks and looks like you need to possibly do some damage control for something.
But for the most part--it's good. Everytime all of my guy friends look at me like that, it's odvious that they're going into pervert-mode, but that may just be my friends.
It seems like freshman girls still manage to be more mature than the average freshman boy, even these days.

I've had that happen before. You know how your ears pop on an airplane and you open and close your mouth so you it'll stop? That's what you do.
I agree with the person below me, exept I don't think it's entirely necessary to buy things to fix it. You probably did get wax in front of the eardrum.
Usually after I do the mouth thing, [very gently!] I Q-tip it again and it's fine.

Last year I had the exact same problem, exept I didn't like his brother, I liked his best friend.
Valetine's was right around the corner, but I couldn't bring myself to breaking up with him before it.
So a couple days after it, [so it'd be more subtle] I casually told him that it wasn't working out. I offered to give back anything he'd given me, but he was a little suprised and told me I could keep it. We're still friends, but there's always been a little twinge of jealousy when I'm around him.
And I waited a week to tell his best friend [because that's a rule I have with myself. If I break up with someone, I wait a week so it wouldn't make me look like a mean skank.] It turns out that he liked me too, but he wouldn't go out with me because I broke up with his friend.
...But a couple months later when his friend got a new girlfriend, he asked me out.

About three days before I get my period, I start feeling bloated and a day before or the day of, my back starts to hurt alotalotalot.
A day or two after it's over, I don't feel bloated anymore and my back goes back to normal.

okay, so i like one of my friends. he and i have been good friends for ages, and i sorta have a crush on him. well, absolutely everyone said that he liked me, and he definitely acted like it... but recently he randomly got a girlfriend and didn't even tell me about it. we talk about nearly everything! i gave him a couple perfect opportunities, and he didn't say anything. It sounds like this boy either likes you and found out that you don't like him back so he's trying to save his ego by randomly hooking up with another girl-- or he's trying to make you jealous so you'll fess up.
either way, tell him your feelings.
The worst thing he can do is not like you, which just means that you start liking someone else becuase he isn't good enough for you.

I've managed to somehow, sometimes be able to find things i've deleted in my computer history in my recycle ben-- unless of course, you delete that regularly too.
once you open recycle ben, there should be a list, or icons, of what you've deleted.
if you want it back, just click restore.

I write stories, too :]
[I've been writing for almost four years, if that means anything..]
First of all, the first paragraph, your sentences aren't short, but they are choppy. If you're reading it, it kinda makes you stop at each sentence. Which is why the paragraph was invented.
"I walked down the streets with my hands shoved in the pockets of my coat. The day was clear with the perfect temperature carried by the gentle breeze. The place crowded with people rushing here and there as I walked slowly, dreading to get to you while I wanted to be with you at the same time."
The above paragraph, when read by the reader, sounds more like this:
"I walked down the streets with my hands shoved in the pockets of my coat. -STOP- The day was clear with the perfect temperature carried by the gentle breeze. -STOP- The place crowded with people rushing here and there as I walked slowly, dreading to get to you while I wanted to be with you at the same time.-STOP-"
It's like riding on the interstate in your car and all of a sudden, slamming on the breaks every few feet. You lurch in your car, just like in your writing.
And it's not just the first paragraph, either, you need to always remember that EVERYTHING needs to sound smooth. Another thing, especially in the first paragraph, most of the sentences sound more like fragments.
The story seems to switch point of views, also. It goes from talking about the cemetary containing someone special named Lindsey, then out of nowhere starts saying the word 'you', just like the writer was actually speaking to this, odviously, dead Linsdey.
If you're writing a flashback, it's best if you bold or italicize it, so it's easier for the reader.
After the first few paragraphs, I couldn't find anything wrong.
But over all, I really liked it :]

OMG! I haven't seen my period in like 3 months..and it's freaking me out. It happened before but that was when I first got it and I went to the GYN and he ssaid it's just cause it's around the first time and also cause I'm too fat!
This time I got fatter but i doubt that's it cause I know REaLLLY fat people and they get it..an that's twice my size. I think it's stress cause this christmas I had alot of problems! How do I get out of the stress...or get it back! nd please don't mention go to the GYN...anyother ways????? (link)

Stress, along with other things can effect your period.
I don't really see what he meant by you being too fat, but I have heard that your weight can affect your periods, but it certainly wouldn't STOP because of your weight.
Eat healthier, get rid of your stress, excersize, and wait. That's the best advice I've got.
How do you get rid of stress?
Take a couple minutes everyday to do what YOU want. Forget the homework. Forget the chores. Forget the dog. Forget making dinner for the little brother.
REST. Wether it's taking a run or drinking some tea and sitting in a chair in the back yard or humming to your favorite Blink 182 song--
whatever it is, do it. For several minutes, everyday. Without interruptions. No matter what.
Everybody deserves time for theirselves. USE yours.

Hm. That's a tough one.
I do crafty things, like sewing, knitting, crochetting, painting, photography and I love to cook. You could try some of that, if you wanted to. I find it fun to do it.
I knit beanies and I paint watercolors and I photograph everything, from people to animals, to architecture to landscaping. Variety is the spice of life.
If you wanted to, you could take pictures and have several different versions of the same picture-- like a black and white one, a sepia one, one that's color and photoshopped all over, etc.
Meeting new people's another goal too, eh? Do you go to the mall on Friday nights? I've met alot of my friends by just walking up to them and saying hello. Sure you can get alot of weird looks, but you can also get some points for boldness.
Also, if you have friends that go to the mall, go with them, dress up cute, and meet anyone they know. Say something like, 'hey, you're cool. we should hang out.' exchange AIM screennames or myspace names and such.
If there are kids at your school that you don't regularly talk to, just make eye contact with them and smile-- if nothing else, the more you do it the more comfortable they'll eventually be around you.
Most of my friends and I have alot in common, but some of our music opinions are veryy different. If your friends don't agree with your opinion on something, find someone who will and talk to them some.
But remember, don't abandon the friends you already have-- that's like undoing what you're trying to accomplish. The goal isn't to empty out all your regular friends and get new, better, different ones, it's to get MORE, and to make them all DIFFERENT, so you have a different kind of connection with EACH of them.
Get involved with school clubs-- sports, academics, anything really. If you like softball, join the softball team and hang out with your softball friends, then slowly introduce them you your regular friends. The key is SLOWLY though.. because there is a very large chance that your friends won't like each other, or might even grow jealous or paranoid that you're abandoning them.
Remember that a true friend would not make you choose one person over another, they'd let you be friends with everyone.
Also remember [as cheesy, after school special this sounds] don't do anything you don't want to do. Stay in control of yourself. Don't slack off on any chores or anything like that that could lead your parents to thinking that you're 'rebelling' or something, thanks to these new friends of yours.

I knit. [I've done scarves and hats and a purse] It sounds gay, but it makes you feel really accomplished once you've finished something.
You can get knitting looms from walmart or almost any other craft stores like michaels or jo ann fabrics if you wanted to make beanies. i personally like them. [the looms come in four sizes, i believe. they should go red [the biggest] then green, yellow and blue, the smallest.] make sure you pick up one of those nifty instruction guides too, if you don't trust the one that comes with it.
I paint. Watercolor, that is. The supplies are the cheapest, in my opinion, too. All you need is the water color paper [get the real deal, not just construction paper--but it doesn't have to be the $18 stuff.] the cheapest set of paints, [mine cost about $7] and a couple brushes. I do alot of beach scenes, since I live in Florida.
I do photography. I have a camera, [not THE best around that's out, but still digital and several megapixels.] I take pictures of everything, from the mall on friday nights to when i visit my family on the weekend to when i go on vacation and i load them on my computer, go through them all, delete the ones i dont like, and go get the rest developed.
expensive, yes, but cool. it's fun to go through the pictures with friends or family. then, you crop them [if you haven't already] and glue them together. i usually get a bright colored piece of posterboard [the number of pictures you want to get on there will determine the size you want to get.] and stick them all on with glue [not too much] or some double sided tape at different angles, then around the pictures with markers write captions, drawings, anything really.
I wish I did something like sculpting-- but there's always playdoh :] that stuff's the bomb.
