Well, assuming you havent left out anything too important, he obviously doesnt like you enough to break up with his girlfriend for you. You may not be leading him on, but it would help to completely rebuff him, let him know for a fact that nothing will happen. Then he can focus more on his girlfriend, which he shouldnt need help with, but whatever.

i use wireless internet on my laptop (a dell latitude d600, if that matters.) for the past maybe month or so, my computer will say i'm connected at a good signal strength, but my internet still won't work. i've done a full scan of my computer using ad-aware se but nothing helps. i know my stuff, but i can't seem to figure out what's wrong. can ANYONE help? i'll add additional info if neccessary. are you using your own wireless router, or are you hijacking? if its your own, you might need to mess with the settings. do you have AOL? they make it pretty difficult. can you access the router settings from the laptop while connected?

I'm seriously way too horny all the time. I've been this way since I turned 13 and I don't know what I can do about it. Is it because I masturbate to orgasm so frequently? 4x a day or every 12 hours. while there is nothing medically wrong with masturbating, it can become a pyschological fixation. basically, an addiction. that is kinda bad. since you will soon be in an environment where it will be difficult, you should probably start cutting back now. once a day is perfectly healthy. if the bathrooms have shower stalls you can just masturbate in there. use your fingers so its not loud.

Depends how drunk. About a month ago, I drank so much that I blacked out and don't remember half the night. That was bad, even though I am 21 (which Im guessing you arent.) i'm a vegetarian and my mom and stepdad and dad were all kinda against it but everyone just decided to respect my choice except my stepdad. he won't let my mom buy me anything "special" becasue i won't eat meat. he also hates the fact i eat something different every night becasue i won't eat meat. i either eat eggs, grilled cheese, or peanut butter and jelly everyday. i hate eating that because i'm kinda a health freak and like fried eggs and grilled cheese are always all greasy and i hate it. what are some other things i could eat that aren't expensive and you might already have it at home?

Sounds like your stepdad is gonna find something wrong with anything you eat, and not listen to reason. How long have your mom and stepdad been married? If not that long, you can always pull the "are you gonna let him tell you how to raise your child?" card on her. Really though, your mom is probably your best bet, try to convince her to start sneaking stuff past your stepdad, either litterarly, or by telling him she likes it. As for the actual merrits of vegeterianism, well thats your decision. Good luck.

ok so i've been reading your advice for quite a while, and have concluded that you are a fairly intelligent person; so i hope you can help me out. It really depends on you. For example, I am not that good with languages, so French would probably give me the most trouble. Algebra is relatively simple math, and freshman Bio classes tend to be pretty easy. Overall though, high school isn't too much to worry about, especially not your freshman year.

So, there's this laptop that I have, which I have had for about 5 years or 6 years. It's a Compaq and it has Windows XP if that helps.
Well, this isn't the first time it has happened. At the beginning, my sister used it and it crashed on her about 2-3 times. And when I began to use it, it crashed once and we [my dad and I] had to manually crash the computer twice! And it was all going well until a few days ago. It shut down on me without warning and when I tried to start it up agian, it always stops on a black screen saying
Cannot restart because the following file is missing [or corrupt?]:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
And then it says that I'd have to restore the computer aka manually crash it. But I really cant because I have a whole bunch of school work saved on there that I need for the upcoming year [Latin, Science Projects, etc] and I have tons of pictures that I seriously can not lose. Well, when this happened the last time, my dad took it to some really obviously smart guy at his work =P and the guy was able to take out all the data saved onto my computer onto a disk [It held large amounts] and so that was that. Well...
1. Does anyone know how I can pull out my data on to a disk from my computer even though it won't start?
2. Can I do anything to get all my saved things on my computer so that I won't lose anything when we crash it?
3. Can I get it to start without crashing it??
I guess the end results would need to be with all my files safe and my computer working again. I can't get another one until I go to college [& I'm a rising 10th grader] and we're tight on money so we can't send it to some store or something. And I'm not sure if the guy at my dad's work will do that for me again. I've asked my dad and he seems reluctant to ask again. I don't know why, but he seems to be leaning towards the "no" side. System restore does not mean manualy crash it, it basically rewinds your computer settings. If you do not have any restore points, or if you cannot boot up your computer it wont help you.
There is something called system recovery which will completely reset your computer programs back to what they were when you got the computer. I have seen this tool not delete anything in the my documents folder, but I wouldn't rely on that.
Here are two things you can try to get your computer to boot up.
Turn your computer on, and hold shift while it is booting. You have to hold the whole time, until it is finished, until you get the error, or you see the desktop.
Try booting your computer into safe mode. You get to the menu by turning your computer on, and then repeatdly pushing the F8 key as it is loading. You have to do it not too slowly and not too quickly. 1-2 times a second or so. You will see a menu, choose safe mode.
If either of those gets you to let you use the computer, get the files off of it, either onto a USB stick ($35 for 2 gigabytes) or if you have a CD-RW drive (something that can write to CDs) you can get a huge number of them for fairly cheap.

You do have a shot with him. He might just be non confrontational. He might not like her, but not really dislike her either (not uncommon with hot bitches), so he isn't mean to her upfront.
