Make sure you always have chapstick, but I know where you're coming from, my lips are always chapped, especially during the winter. I always put on 'Chap Ice' and you can get it a local pharmacy, i.e walgreens or cvs. Try medicated chap sticks instead of smackers, or girly chapsticks.

My Mom and Father were divorced when I was 3 yrs. I have 3 other siblings. We never revieved any contact throught our growing up years from out
Father. And just out of the blue he contact each of us and wants to have a relationship. I am hesitent. My Mother pass away 4 years ago. Each of us have had a brief phone conversation with he and to my sister and I he asked us to call him DAD... I was polite and said that I would stick with Sir for now. He has 1 other child that is in his 30's and is on drugs is not in contact with him. My Father has just recently retired at the age of 67. He did say the he was sorry to hear about Mom's death. I have mixed feelings and thats what I need help with.
Well, really this decision is yours and only yours. If you want to try and attempt to get to know your father, you should try and start a relationship with him. But, if you're still mad at him for not contacting you and your siblings throughout the years, maybe you should take it slow and slowly build a relationship with him. Honestly, the choice is yours. So, try and take a long time to think about it, and think about the pros and cons of starting a new and better relationship with your father.

im 16 female turning 17 in 3 months and im 5'6 1/2 and i was not suppose to get up to being that tall my doctor told me that i was most likely going to stop growing when i reach 5'4 but i havent grown since last year and iv been 5'6 1/2 since last year and people keep telling me that im going to grow even taller than i am now because im not fully grown yet but i dont really believe them and i dont want that i dont want to be all extra tall so is being 5'6 1/2 at the age of 17 tall??

One, you probably shouldn't have had sex unless you were for sure it was extra safe and protected. Next, you need to get a test before it's too late. And you won't want to do this, but you NEEEEED to talk to your mom or another trusted adult. Or, just goto a local pharmacy and ask for help, even though they're going to end up telling you to talk to your mother. Anyway, i`m against this, but if you're scared and not ready for a baby, you can get an abortion, even though it's so very wrong. But, since you're the one who made the choice to have sex, you deserve the responsibilites and troubles of raising a child. Or, you can have the baby and give it up after it's born, which really isn't any better.
Honestly. Talking to your mom would be the best bet.

Next time you two get in a fight, try talking to him again and if he plays the sarcasm routine, you know that it's not joking, since it's continuous. Tell him you love him and all, but you feel like he's controlling you and you don't want that, and that you both want control equally. But if he keeps controlling you, you know that he may not be the one, so you might just want to end it. It may hurt, but it's the right thing to do.

Don't rush it. If he leans in to kiss you, breathe deep and just let him lead and that will make things a lot easier for you. i have kinda of curly frizzy hair and i straighen it everyday. Im going to florida in april and im not gunna have time to strighen my hair everytime i take a shower. is there antying, such as shampoo, conditioner, cream, spray, anything that would make my hair straight, if not just a little straight? also is there anything i can put in my hair when its wet that when it drys there would be pretty curls and not fizzy ones and can withstand the heat?

Well, I don't want to sound like a jerk, but have you tried to get to know him? He may be annoying, but that might be his way of showing he likes you. You just shouldn't judge someome like that, so if he does ask you out, try telling him calmly that you want to get to know him first and become friends, and that you wouldn't want to rush into a relationship.

Just ignore them. They're just picking on you because they think you're too shy or too easy to resist their put downs. So, what you can do is ignore them or fight back, but no spreading rumors about them, because that just makes things ten times worse. Whenever someone says it to your face, just tell them to shut up and leave you alone. If they continue to bother you, tell your counselor because it's not right, and even though it's considered.. 'tattle telling' it works and will get them off your back.

i CANNOT WAIT til summer! i'm ready to go to water parks and go swimming and all that. thing is, i want to buy new swim suits. i have a couple, but they look kinda childish. not really, but i don't really like them all that much. i'm looking for swim suits that are two-piece, but the top kinda hides your stomach. i really don't like my stomach right now, so i kinda wanna hide it. the bottom should be like boy shorts, but it's pretty much optional since you have to buy them separate, and my mom's not gonna waste that much money for a pair of swim suits. if there's a place where i can buy a two-piece swim suit in one price, that would be great. if not, i'm really just looking for a top. nothing too expensive either, since my dad's the only one working in our family, and he doesn't really pay all that good.

Well, if people are calling you a lesbian, just because you're shy, that's just weird and the next time someone calls you a lesbian, just hold your hand up and say whatever, and tell them to leave you alone, and they'll be surprised by your attitude towards them, and most will leave you alone. For guys, try talking to them and getting to know them better. If you something they like, try talking to them about it, and asking them to go out for a movie or whatever you guys do there.
