Ok, so i have this friend named *ang* and she was my friend the whole sumer. I was either talk to her on the phone, she was over, i was over her house, or she was at the pool with me. Ok so when school came, this friendship went down, she turned into a wana be popular girl, anging out with them, and turned into a backstabber. We still stayed friends. So i decided to take dance with *ang* and she was so happy and so was I! So tonight is our dance recitle, and she hates me. She caleld me a bitch, she gets into my email account, but then, after, she just comes back to me. and me being to soft harted i accept her apoligy. If i doont, she gets totaly mad and starts spreading bad rumors. ive told my parents, and ive told teachers, and en talked to her, nothing has worked. please help me solve this problem.

I've never been a big fan of my nose and I've always thought that if I got plastic surgery, I would look a million times better. I don't want anything huge - just that little bump that some people have in the middle of their nose removed and straightened - but my parents are both against it because of the risks. What kinds of risks are there, exactly, with very minor plastic surgery like this? I understand that it could possibly go wrong but if I go to a surgeon that I KNOW is a good surgeon, wouldn't that eliminate that risk?

I have a question about a guy who I'm friends with. He had invited me and some other friends of his to celebrate his wifes birtday at a local restaurant.
Well I was the 3rd person to arrive and from the minute I sat down next to him and his wife he gave me attitude. He asked me a question and I thought he said "where's the gang", I aswered that they hadnt arrived yet. Then he YELLED at me and said "I SAID WHERES THE GIG"!
When everyone else had arrived (there was about 20 people) his wife started opening her gifts. When she opened my gift someone asked where the card was. I didnt get her a card, just a gift and he (her husband) snapped "there IS no card".
Well after this abusive behavior and no one defending me I went to the bathroom. When I walked out he came up to me. I told him I was leaving because I felt uncomfortable. He asked me if I would be going to another function with him and his wife the next day and I told him no I was going to my parents. Well then he did something that I thought was almost a little voilent. He stuck his face REALLY close to mine (like we could have almost kissed ) and said in a loud, mean, voice 'IM SO SORRY".
This really freaked me out. My question is why do you think he would treat me this way? And does that mean he might be a violent person? Also do I have a right to think he was being an asshole?

I have a question that I really can't ask anyone else about because it is too humiliating. Well at the college I go to there is a weekly campus newspaper. I was reading the classified section the other day and under personals it had my name (just my first name), and then is said (my name), STAY AWAY!! I thought it was just a one time thing but then the next week it had my name under the personals again and this time is said (my name)," masturbation is fun."
This guy that had been really mean to me even brought it up, and asked me if I had been reading the paper. I can't prove that it was him doing this, but isnt this a form of harassmant, or slander? Could I sue the college over this? This guy that has been mean to me is a reporter for the paper.
What are my rights? They are only using my first name so they could always say they were talking about someone else, but I know it's about me.
You can't do much because, as you said so yourself, they aren't using your full name. You may want to take it up with the head of the newspaper and have them stop putting your first name in there, though.
Be sure to forcefully uppercut that guy, too, next time you see him.

I have a huge problem.....I'm a failure at everything in life . All my previous friends have told me so and my whole family is CONSTANTLY telling me that I'm a failure. Even people who don't know me personally, tell me that I'm a failure when they hear about me. So , what they're saying (that I'm a failure) is true, since so many people have told me the same thing. Before, hearing that statement would motivate me to work really hard. And it would work because I would achieve my goals, temporarily. Now, whenever anyone tells me I'm a failure, it doesn't motivate me anymore. Instead, I get really sad and stay in my room alone and cry. I even skip going to college because I'm so sad and don't want to be annoyed by anymore people telling me the same thing. I already have depression and am taking medication for it, so hearing this statement from people doesn't help. Now my question is: HOW DO I GET OVER THIS? HOW DO I MOITIVATE MYSELF AND STAY MOTIVATED? HOW DO I PROVE TO EVERYONE THAT I'M NOT A FAILUTRE? Sorry for the long letter. Please, no smart alecs.

Tool bar could be a result of adware of spyware. Save your homepage setting. If it keeps changing to odd homepages you didn't set, it is probably adware of spyware, too.

Ok. I like a girl. She is still in love with her ex-boyfriend. We are kind of friends with benefits and make out everytime we get together. I'm 15/f... There is this guy that i have been "talking" to (Grant) for about 2 months and he keeps telling everyone that he's going to ask me out but never does it. I'm not religious at all. I don't believe in committing 'sins' or waiting until marriage for sex. I've just noticed so many questions about religion and people get so worried they're breaking the law. I go by the quote, "Live and let live" and I don't judge anyone. I just recently had this fight with my so-called "best friend" over this past weekend. This girl lies about everything, & I definately have proof of it, because she'll tell me one thing, and then tell my friend another thing. And it's not like that friend lied to me about it--cause many of my friends have said she lied, and we've showed both of our AIM conversations to eachother to prove it. And on Sunday, we had this huge fight on AIM, like we kept saying horrible things about eachother (I admit..but she did too). I just didn't even care anymore how I talked to her, because of all the lies that came out of her mouth. I was trying to get it into her head that she lies to everyone about everything. The story goes on and on, but basically I told her that everybody's beginning to hate her because of this, and that she has no friends (harsh, but technically, partially true). She told me everybody hates me, blah blah blah. Yeah we kept saying stuff like that to eachother. Now, she IMed me today and said "sorry". But I didn't answer. I seriously don't think I should accept her apology, because I don't see anything in her that means being a friend. Also--Me & her have fought many times before about endless things. Sounds pretty pathetic for "best friends" right? Yeah, that's how I see it. I don't even want to be friends with her anymore. It's really just not worth it, because we fight TOO much about stupid things, and I don't want to have "friends" like that. I don't like hanging out with her--there's always a problem. Again--I don't see anything in her that means a FRIEND to me. And I think the reason she's apologizing is because everybody's confronting her now about lying and what-not. And as I said before-It's getting to the point where no one wants to be friends with her anymore. So what do I do? I really DON'T want to be friends, but how do deal with it? IDK. EHH COMPLICATED!

So.. why do you think teens place more emphasis on their appearance?
Everyone dresses to certain fabrications. Punk, Prep, blah blah. Teens feel if they aren't one of those fake personalities of culture, they aren't 'cool' 'hip' or 'popular'.
Many people join certain labels to become 'different' That is a common belief of the punk label and the goth label.
Although, from my point of view, all they are is being different in the same way, therefore, they can't avoid being different, because they're all the same. Ya get me?
Other teens judge mainly based off of appearnace. If you dont dress a certain way, some person may no longer want to talk or be associated with you. Why? Because they're dumb mother fucking brainwashed piece of shit bigots who need to open their eyes and get to know someone before making a judgement!
They do that because of the type of 'attitude' that is associated with their group. If you dont look a certain way, you obviously are too different and therefore, are obviously not fit to even talk to that certain person because of your certain 'style'. If someone is a christian but switches into a certain 'label' to begin looking cool, they may become Atheist just because that is a common thing for that certain label's culture.
It is the common view of others that will switch a certain entity to believe such thoughts and views on life because of their surrounding peers.

My boyfriend of 3 years treats me well, has always been faithful to me, has never said a hateful thing to me, loves me deeply, and has stuck by my side through the good times and the bad. He is the perfect catch. The only problem is... he is sooo nasty sometimes!
I feel like, when it comes to hygiene, my boyfriend is worse than a 3 year old, when actually he is 20. He can go 3 days wearing the same outfit, I have to remind him to brush his teeth and shower, he picks his nose all the time, and he smokes cigarettes. I have talked and talked and talked to him about these things, and I'd admit, he's come a long way. But sometimes it absolutely drives me insane and makes me lose my attraction to him.
Since he has improved a lot so far, I'm hoping that he'll eventually get over these nasty habits. I'm hoping that when he gets a little older that he'll be more mature and take pride in his appearance a little more. However, I'm worried if we get married, will he let himself go?
I can't describe to you how good of a person he is. I have dated a few jerks in my life, and my boyfriend is the most caring, loving, and devoted person in my life. He is smart, witty, friendly, and sensitive. It's just this one problem that keeps tripping us up. Sometimes I feel more like his mother than his girlfriend.
Sooo what should I do when talking to him about it just doesn't seem to be enough? Am I being too critical? Should I just love him for who he is and not bother? Should I give up because I can't change a person?
