there was this guy that saw my picture on myspace and messaged me for my screename. he would say dirty things to me, and tell me i was sooo sexy and he wanted to hang out with me and that he wanted to see me and all this stuff. he also left this message on my phonee saying how hot i was and stuff. he went to my school but i never really talked to him before this - he just saw my myspace pictures and kept messaging me and IMing me every time i got on. after he kept IMing me for a couple days saying i was sexy and crap, he started saying really gross stuff like he wants to have sex with me and that i could touch his penis and stuff. then he told me he smokes marijuana, which i find really pathetic. why do guys act like this? he hasn't even talked to me in real life, just seen my pictures. what should i do? id avoid this guy at all costs! block his myspace, and block his sn, like you said you dont talk to him at school so it shouldnt be too big of a deal, if after you block him he comes up to you and gives you a hard time, then talk to a higher authority (counselor, parent, principal w/e) b/c thats totally not cool! i dont know why some guys act like that, but i do know that i avoid them at all costs, and hang out w/ the sweet guys, b/c people like that, are the ones who you shouldnt get mixed in with.

ok... so im confused... well i've been treated like pure shit when it comes to boyfriends... they all start out amazing but end terribly... i no alot of relationships end badly but this is pretty ridiculous... my last one we were dating for like 5 months... the day he left for vacation he told me he loved me... 9 days later when he got back from mexico he broke up w/ me... he really didnt have a reason... and i havent done anything to make him all of the sudden want to break up.... the only thing he said is he was going into highschool (i already go to the highschool) and it is going to be cross country season (which i thought was a poor excuse becasue i play tennis)... well i know you dont want to read alot.... but seriously i want to talk to some people (ill tell you about myself so maybe you can help me understand y this keeps happening) but basically i really dont understand and im confused becasue i dont know y some guys are like this.. i told myself that they were just stupid and made a mistake... hopfully u can tell me... but before you do i think you need to know about me.... so please respond and ill tell you about me (link)

My acne has been a constant battle for the past 3 years. I've been on Accutane twice. I've done everything out there that you can do. And I was wondering if any of you have ever tried or used Proactiv. What do you think? I know it's from an Infomercial, but so mean celebrities & people claim that it's awesome. relax! im 15 never had a boyfriend or a first kiss so your not alone! so many girls havent been there and you may feel like your the only one but trust me its perfectly normal! guys are just weird, you may be shy, which could give the impression your stuck up, or that your not interested, you could be really smart and guys could think that you just think theyre stupid, you may even just intimidate guys in general. theres alot of reasons why you may not have a boyfriend but dont sweat it! why try to rush anything? you want your first kiss to be special, not just something you do so you have it out of the way right? i know you said dont say " one day it'll happen" but truth is, one day it will, and you may be surprised to find that it was better all that happened to you when you were older

Okay so i like this guy but im not sure if he likes me. Hes one of my cousins good friends. He says alot of nice stuff to me like that i have really pretty eyes and that im pretty. On the last day of school it was me him and my cousin [we all walk home] and he acts so different when ben [ my cousin] is around. He`ll be mean to me and like mostly joking around though. He`ll belike you know what DYKE, go play in traffic. And hes like gosh go away. But as soon asmy cousin leave hes all nice and is like yeah your really cool and stuff like that. Its hard to tell if he likes me because he just acts different. And he calls me allot and i call him because were good friends. Most of the time we talk on the phone for like 2 hours. Our max. is 4. guys act different around their friends. b.c they dont want their friends to kno who they have a thing for, they think that if their friends think they have a crush, its less manly. it sounds to me like he likes you, when guys take the time to compliment you it usually means theyre interested i think youve got a shot but i would ask him just like "hey why do you treat me so differently when its the 2 of us then you do when my cousin is around" you know, try to get some answers. good luck!

alright, im gonna attempt to keep this short and simple.
ive liked this kid for about 2 years. i still like him. well. now we never talk. the past 2 summers though, i talked to him all the time [through the school years too] well im going into 9th grade [im 14] and yeah now we NEVER talk. i really really wanna start talking to him again though. i'm not popular, i guess you can say he is, although i hate stereotyping people like that and stuff. i have like no guy friends, although he has a lot of friends that are girls. you see, he used to like me. i started talking to him the summer before 7th grade. he told me he liked me.. blahblahblah. 7th grade started & he asked me out. i said no. why? i'm still not sure and i regret it to this day. we continued to talk after that. i guess it started towards the very end of 7th grade & the summer before 8th that he started to seem less interested in me and we would talk less. oh yeah, we only talked online. occassionally in school, but not every day. ok. i'm really shy. around him, i like got so nervous that i could hardly talk. it sucks because i'm already shy as it is, but around him i was like speechless. i know that after a while, that could change though. yeah so since he seemed less interested & our convos were mainly pointless, one day i just stopped talking to him. i haven't talked to him since september or october [online]. long time right? almost a year. like once or twice, maybe 3 times in school we talked, but it was only if he like asked me for a pencil or something. also a few months ago my friend imed him while at my house. and my brother was talking to him for some reason? wow havent we all been there? im in that same sorta situation, your taking the right step by saying your gonna im him, so do it! just im him and be like hey long time no talk! ask him whats up, and questions about him, his family, friends etc. in school just be friendlier, im shy too and i know how hard it is to make the first move, even if it is just to build a friendship back up! so give it a shot and if it doesnt work out, atleast you will know that you gave it your best shot! good luck!

ive got brown hair and blue eyes too, i use brown eyeliner thats shimmery and i dont put it all across my lower lid b/c if you just do it half way then its supposed to open your eye up. so if i were you, id use that, brown eye shadows look good too, the shimmery dark ones are my favorite and you can get your eyebrows waxed, i do just b/c my mom makes me, its not really expensive and you can pluck in between waxings. good luck!

im 15 and ive never had a boyfriend ora first kiss. so dont worry about it! it bothers me too sometimes especially when alot of your friends have boyfriends but sometimes its helpful to see what they do wrong so you wont make the same stupid mistakes when your older. besides, alot of guys are emotionally mature enough when theyre 13 for relationship. the best advice i can give you is dont go looking for a boyfriend, because you may come off as needy. you should make friends w/ alot of guys because that can help if your comfortable around them and can relate, you will come off as dateable because they want someone they can talk to. good luck!

Alright At work i am a cashier & photo tech & i clean the store. Usually its just me and a manager. The manager is off doing something and im at the front of the store working my ass off. Well tomorrow Its This girl and Me. Shes from 8-4 && im from 10-6. When i come on the clock this girl goes your here so i can get off register. And of course she does. Im always on register evey time i work with her. Last week she took a vacation to go on a trip. ( she didnt deserve and she demanded the days off ) She came back on wednesday and she has done nothing but bitch. I asked the manager if i can work on the floor tomorrow while the other girl works register. And the manager said you need to put into consideration that she comes on two hours before you. Its not fair. Im always on the damn register. When i ask this girl to help me out she tells me that shes hire authority then me and i have to do whatever she says. Shes not we are all hired for the same damn things. Im tired of her. And also she got a promotion of head cashier. Even tho she doesnt deserve it at all shes taking it.
I have talked to every manager in the store. So dont tell me to talk. Every manager knows i hate working with her.
What else can i do. Shes the biggest waste of life at work && she deserves to be fired.
Me quitting is not a choice either.

my sister worked retail with similar people. it sux. if i were you i would freeze her out if shes a bitch to you, be a bitch back. dont let her stomp all over you anymore! she may get there 2 hours earlier than you but you have to stay 2 hours later than her. i would try talking to her but if she doesnt respond to that then well, sometimes drastic measures are necessary. next time she pulls this authority thing on you tell her that she has no authority over you and yall are equals, dont let her beat you! good luck!

i know you shouldnt wear jeans b/c my sister worked retail and her boss said the only reason she got an interview is b/c she didnt wear jeans. so wear like black pants or khaki, so basically look nice! theyll ask you the basic questions and what you need to get across is that you are dedicated reliable and motivated to work hard! good luck!

I started my first period when i was 15 years old and i am now 18 and in between those time periods, i have only had at least 5-6 periodd. but during the early years it was very heavy. it could be overweight, or being stressed, or you could be irregular. your best bet is going to talk to your doctor about it because they know how those things work and they will ask you a series of questions to come up with a conclusion, and may give you some medication for it. good luck!

okay so im 15/f 5'6 weigh 140 pounds.. im not fat but i do have extra weight around my legs.. im very muscular because im very athletic.. swimming and volleyball.. but i would like to know if anyone knew how to loose the extra weight on your legs..

my sister is losing ALOT of weight in her lower area. she goes to the gym like 4 times a week for an hour and does the tredmill and stationary bike, shes also been dieting by eating 20 fat grams a day or less. shes lost 35 pounds in like 2 and a half months. so i would try something like that and she walks on the tredmill not run so if you did that it would probably work better. if you dont have access to a gym try running or walking at a fast pace around your neighborhood. fruits and pretzels are good for snacks. mess around with it, ive seen ALOT of improvement in her! good luck!

thats PERFECTLY normal! especially since its only been a few weeks, your just shy or scared, talk to him in person, you cant dodge him then! and you just have to get comfortable with being around him, and that friend thing, my friends have done a MILLION times. so dont sweat it, and be bold, daring, and have some fun! good luck!

I was browsing people's columns today and looking at the feedback I saw one that was rated a 1 and the person wrote your wrong he aint a pedophile your a bitch or something along those lines. I read what was wrote to her and she answered the question being asked very good. Why do people rate you a 1? I can understand if it is BAD advice, but when you ask for advice and rate a 1 most of the time it's because its something that they just didnt want to hear. 5's and feedback coming your way if you give me your thoughts on this. the ratings on here can be pretty messed up sometimes. ive answered questions before and been given bad ratings because the person asking the question left something out or something stupid that i didnt even do. i dunno why the even have the ratings sometimes when half of the time the person asking the question knows what they want to hear, but when they dont hear it they get really upset and rate badly. theres alot of messed up things with the ratings but one bad rating isnt the end of the world so we sorta just have to get over it.

Okay, my best friend was dating my cousin for awhile, but then they broke up, Two weeks ago, they got back togeather, and my cousin came up for a visit. They hung out and everything was okay. Now my best friend (which by the way, there both 13), just broke up with him, cause she's saying "she didn't know how wild he was" because she just found out that he made out with his old girlfriend on her bed! But he wasn't even dating my friend at the time, so it's no big deal. So now she's being all gay, and i dont understand how to deal with this situation. let it slide, it sounds to me like your friend is over reacting to a silly situation and you cant change her mind. she may just be hurt that he would do that and then date her, like she thinks he'll cheat on her or something. i would just stand back and let them work it out on there own. i hope everything works out for the best!

im the exact same way! fortunately im in drivers ed right now so im forced to be around some people i dont know and ive made ALOT of friends in there. you can definately keep your same friends but join something to get more friends! different camps are good for things like that and not just like campfire camps i mean like all state camps for certain things theres so many options! talk to your parents about it and see if thats okay or if they have any other ideas! have fun and good luck!

I am 20, a little athletic but i could stand to lose 20 pounds (i'm just a shade under 6' tall, 221 lbs.). I show everyone respect, I'm always referred to as a 'great friend' or 'like a big brother', but no matter how much i try i cannot get past that image. i'm either not seen as a date-able person or everyone i try to get close to lies and leads me on instead of telling me the truth and letting me know why they're not interested or what i was doing wrong. Am i doomed to be forever in the hell that we guys call the "Friend-zone"?

the reason those relationships havent worked is because they werent " the one" it sounds to me like your a sweet person which isnt a bad thing infaact alot of girls put that as a main priority in a boyfriend, it seems that you need a sweet girlfriend someone that you can be friends with but their romantic interest as well. keep looking for that one and be open minded, sometimes the perfect ones for us are in the strangest places to look. good luck!

your friends can tell him but thats the extent. for some reason when i like someone its plain obvious. i flirt i smile i make eye contact i laugh at there jokes im just myself. if your comfortable around a guy and you can be "playful" thats basically flirting and playful as in like sarchasm and smiling etc. that usually gets the point across...good luck!

16.Male Hey I'm not sure if it's becase of finals lately, but even before last week, I've found that I wake up and get a headache...really bad ones. When I go to sleep I usually don't have one, actually havn't at all. So why is this?
I have two pillows, a soft feather one that kinda sinks, and then one of those foam ones with the bend in them. I switch on and off, sometimes use both with a different one on top, but either way as soon as I wake up a headache hits me. Why is this? its probably nerves for your exams and not the pillows, you may be so stressed that you arent sleeping well and thats giving you headaches. when you get up eat something like a bowl of cereal or toast, poptarts etc. take a painkiller and drink a glass of milk or water. hope it all works out!

trust me, this question wasnt long i read really really long ones b4. it sounds to me like you were a bit clingy for him and it scared him. not that your scary but it made him feel like it was too serious and he doesnt want a serious relationship right now. i think your absolutely right about what you said about highschool and changing, but alot can happen in one year.next year i say be friends but try to keep some distance so he doesnt feel pressured. everything will work out for the best so dont sweat it, good luck!
