well ive been a christian since i was 7 but for the past year ive barely even prayed and i dont feel a connection with God..everytime i do pray i just ask for him to forgive my sins because im afraid if i died right now i'd go to hell..no matter what i do i cant seem to get it right and so lately ive just been putting it off but thats not right. how do i start to feel a connection to God again and stop feeling so empty spirutually? Set aside a time everyday where you can God may connect. Start off by reading and meditating on his scriptures. then just start praying. Talk to him as if he were a normal person. The wonderful thing about having a friend like the father, is he is always there to listen. If you are having a bad day, talk to him like you would one of your friends. laugh with him, cry with him, connect with him. May God bless.

I write songs. And recently I've been going through a difficult time. My ex said he still loved me... he wouldn't say that if he didn't mean it...it took me a year to get over him...i was wrong...blah blah blah...so I'm in love and my mom says I'm not allowed to love him I'm only allowed to like him...but I love him and he loves me but she thinks I'm too young to date or something...i dont know anymore. So I'm writting a song about how I dont want to be told I'm too young and I don't want to be told how to feel, or think, etc. but I want it not only to be about love...like it can have more than one meaning...so if you know of a bible verse that relates to what I'm trying to say please let me know...example: 1 Timothy 4:12 Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

while it is completly natural to question your parent authority on you you know that your parents were there for a reason.
In proverbs 22: 6 it says "train a child in the way he should go."
I know that you prolly don't want to hear this, but your mother is just training you the way she feels God wants you to be trained. Ask her why she dosn't want you to love this guy. Im not sure how old you are, but maybe you arn't old enough for a relationship.
First love God, ask him what to do, then love your mother, take in what she says, then if the love for you they also share in this man may it be.
The True love is from jesus to you as he shead his blood for you so that you may live. Keep this in mind. Not sure how it all relates together, but my fingers just started typing so maybe God is wanting you to hear some of this. Just keep it all in mind. May God Bless.

I have been feeling kind of down latley and just miserable. i feel like i have no friends and no life. i dont have the life that most teens my age have like partying and just having fun..most of my time i sit at home..i am very insecure about myself and i wish i wasn't. i feel as if i dont love myself but i wish i did..i believe in God but i dont go to church because i moved to a different town 2 years ago that i dont really know anything about. But i do watch several sermons on T.V. everyday. I just want to know any uplifting passages/verses from the bible you know..or passages/verses that have to do with being proud of yourself and appreciating your life or any other good passages/verses you think i might need>thanx soo much for reading..please help me out i need som guidance... Okay I am 15 and I am very devout, although I'm catholic I follow the belifs in general of Chritianity. I have had a connection with God. This year it was on and off all the time. In may I went to Quebec and Saw the Basillica of Saint Anne de Beaupre(people claim its were heaven and earth meat) and upon entering the church, I felt something and upon entering the main part of the church I felt something and I felt a strong connection to god. Since tyhen the connection is lost. I feel empty now unless in a sancutary. Do any of you (christians only please) know how I can streghten my connection with god> (link)

I as well am 15, but i was brought up in a christian home. I believe that God is trying to win over your heart. Try talking to him (praying) He is with you wherever you go, you don't just have to be in church, or in a church program. I talk to him while i am getting ready to go to bed, I sing his prases all day long, i even sing and talk to him in the shower. so if people agree and think that smoking is bad and alcoholism is bad why do people think that suicidal-minded rock bands and stuff like that push the limiting line of "individualism" is not bad and is just being individually unique? surely you cant say that child pornography is just uniqueness that someone has that you shouldn't try to take away someone from doing because you dont wanna interfere with their individualism? or alcohol addictions or smoking? so what makes the difference?
i just dont understand beccause ive had a number of friends whos fallen into the wrong paths (serious depression cutting themselves and suicidal attempts and one actually killed herself :() after being "emo" and the "misunderstood kid" who's always considered herself depressed. i dont mean to label but a general trend was they listened to songs about deaths 24/7 and stuff. theres no hard proof that emo bands and their intense promoting of "individualism" and "being yourself" beyond the line cause these things but then again, there's no scientific proof that child porn is bad, it just is... so why wouldnt anyone agree with me? I believe that the same people that think smoking and alcoholism is bad also think that the rock bands and punk groups are bad influences on the society as a whole. Who you are on the outside tells who you are on the inside. The way you dress, act, and even talk can show the true you.

We often think of forgiveness as something that someone who has done us wrong must ask of US. There is always another way of looking at something. My thoughts on forgiveness suggest that you focus on offering forgiveness TO the person who has wronged you. To not forgive them is like taking the poison (continuing to suffer for what they did or didn't do to you) and expecting THEM to die!
Forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself. It is not something you do FOR someone else. It is not complicated. It is simple. Simply identify the situation to be forgiven and ask yourself: "Am I willing to waste my energy further on this matter?" If the answer is "No," then that's it! All is forgiven. i've been training for cross country for my school and one day ill be able to run like 3 miles with no problem and then the next day i wont even get half a mile before cramping like mad which then i have to stop. like today. i had to quit running and totally sit so i would feel better. i cramp in my sides. both. any ideas on what to do to stop me from cramping. would it help if i didnt eat before i ran? Hey, i run cross country too. My sides would cramp up all the time and my dad told me that it was because i was dehydrated. So i drank more watter, stretched my back and sides, and it made it a whole lot better. I also found that if you run a constant pace (not speeding up slowing down, speeding up again) it will help keep the cramps down. Hope this helps

I use alcohol. It works pretty well as long as you use it daily. it can have it cleared up w/ in a couple of days.

15/f -- me and this guy ["jack"] have been friends for about 4 months and lately weve both started to "like" each other more and he's been wantin to ask me out for awhile [he told me so himself] but he knew that although i liked him too, i was really enjoying the single life and wasnt ready to be in another relationship. his brother was talkin to me a lil while back and said that if/when i decided i was ready to go out with jack, i could let him kno and then he'd tell jack he should ask me out. but i wanna put a spin on things and just ask him myself. the prob is, i dont kno how. ive never asked anyone out before. we only get to see each other about once a week cuz he works almost every day and stuff but we talk on the phone every night. so i was wondering should i ask him on the phone like tonight or wait till this weekend when i see him in person? and what would be a good way to do it? like when he says i love you, should i say something like .. i love you too, wanna make it official? or something like that? i wanna make it good but not complicated you kno? :]

i dunno, kinda depends on his personality. My bf asked me out over the phone. He got a hold of my cell and on the welcome message he put, will you go out w/ me (not in that many letters cuz he ran out of room but you get the pic) so yea i thought it was really sweet, but again it depends on the personality of the guy.

your parents may have a lock or something on the computer. Try going into your control pannel. Usually it will tell you what you have access to and everything. Also talk to your parents, ask them if they have anything on there that is preventing you to use the net.

Okay so heres my question and sorry if its a long one.
I'm a rather active 14 year old female. i eat healthy most of the time and try my best to take care of my body. lately i have been experiencing pains and aches in my bones and joints. i also get muscle aches but that is very rarely.
I have let my mom know and she claims that it is because i dont drink enough milk.
i do admit that i dont drink alot of milk but i do eat other things that have calcium in them.
but i think theres also a chance that it might be growing pain. considering that i havent really grown in three years.
So my question is do you have any idea why i may be experiencing pain?

I run cross country, track, and i play soccer. I have aches and pains all the time. Try drinking water. I found that if i carry a watter bottle and fill it up several times a day that it decreaces the chances of aches. try it see if it helps.

For a while I've been having a really really bad backache in the left reigon of my back, right beside the spinal cord. Also at the base of my neck.
Sometimes I feel like cold water is being dripped down my spine, but it hurts at the same time.
I don't have insurance at the moment to go to the doctor nor can I really afford the bills.
Can anyone help? It hurts really bad somedays, it has just been getting worse. I'm not really sure what is wrong, I haven't done anything to pull any muscles.
Please help.

try going to the chiropracter. that usually helps my back. they are also pretty reasonable in pricing. Especally if you hurt that bad.

okay so i am 118 lb girl who recently got a hip problem. (idk maybe that information can help)
Recently, my right hip was hurting. Then on friday at school, walking to my 2nd period, it gave out, and now every time i take a step with my right leg (it's my right hip) it pops. I have already confronted my doctor, and they said that it will just pop back in and be fine. It's been poping with just about every step i take since and during Friday.
My question is, is there any way to pop it back in, sort of painlessly? And if not, about how long do you think it takes for it to pop back in, rough guesses are ok.

My hips do that all the time. The first time it did exactly what you were describing. Don't waist your time going to the doctor, he will want you to get x-rays and all that crap. Just go to the chiropracter. The guy that i see makes it very painless. I have to get my hips poped back in ever 2 months or so. No biggie anymore.
