Netscape

Question Posted Monday July 10 2006, 1:30 pm

Alright, so on my computer we have 3 users, mine, my moms, and dad's. We have windows xp, and netscape for our internet. Netscape doesn't work when I'm under my name but it works on my parents, is there anything I can do about this? How to make it run under my name again?

your parents may have a lock or something on the computer. Try going into your control pannel. Usually it will tell you what you have access to and everything. Also talk to your parents, ask them if they have anything on there that is preventing you to use the net.

You could have lost privliges, or you could have something wrong with netscape. If you could describe what happens better We might be able to help you. Im assuming your talking about netscape as a browser? (I vaguely remember hearing about some isp netscape type thing) You could try deleting it and redownloading it onto your user assuming nothing on your parents or your users are password protected.

You might need to have administrator privelages, though I doubt that would affect whether or not you could use Netscape, strange...

Could you please describe how Netscape doesn't work?
e.g. It crashes, fails to start, etc.
