advice
I know that it's a while away, but it's already starting to worry me. I asked my parents where they wanted me to go to high school and they told me about this private school. And since I already go to one, I really wanted to go to a public high school. So it made me mad. I don't know how to convince them. And they said that the place I wanted to go wasn't their first choice out of the public high schools. None of my friends will go to the private school, most of them will go to the one I want to go to. And there's tons more reasons. How do I convince them? It's a big issue and we argue about it every day. Can anybody help?
whenever i want something from my parents that isn't bad i just remind them of everything good that i do. Remind them of everything that you have done like your good grades. your an athlete. things along those lines.. things that show that you are responsible and they will have no reason to at least let you try it out.

I dont know what the category of this is but.. Ok, heres the story this may be long but i'm not sure so if it is i'm sorry but I need all the help i can get with this question. Ok I recently spent the night with a friend of mine and while I was there her dad tried hitting on me asked me if I would have sex with him and asked me if he could kiss me and I said no, and I dont know what to do, her dad even pulled out his thing in front of me which is nasty and after all this happened I didnt go to sleep that night, I stayed up all night watching movies confused on what I should do, I mean should I get a lawer and get him sent to jail or what I am so confused and I dont know what to do, please if anyone can answer this for me I will rate high, and please who ever reads this and gives me an answer dont make jokes about it because this is very serious, thanks to everyone who answers, by the way I will rate high...Thanks advicenators!
I think that you should tell your parents what happened and talk to them about it because parents always seem to know the right things. Don't go back over to her house any time soon because you don't know what he will try and pull. I wouldn't worry about risking your friendship with the girl because this is much more important and maybe he is doing the same thing to her and you could possibly help her. good luck.

So first of all, im 14/f and im also bi-. A couple days ago, my girlfriend broke up with me. 0- heart break in less than 5 days. My friend, let's call her Kristin, she also dated my ex g/f who we'll call Gabby. So to clarify, Gabby broke up with me two days ago. Kristin also went out with Gabby about 2 months ago. To complicate things some more, I went out with Kristin over 1/2 a year ago. Well at first, Kristin objected my relationship with Gabby and thats why Gabby broke up with me. She didnt want to come between me and Kristin. Just today however, me and Kristin start gettting real close again in her room right? And that's when she want to know if i want to get back together. I told her i only wanted to stay friends because i still have to go figure some things out. Before i knew it though, i was all over her, and now, i dont even remember how, im suddenly going back out with her. Kristin hurt me a lot when we went out before, but she says she changed. I dont know whether or not i should believe her though. I still have feelings for Gabby, but i also like Kristin. But right now i think i got burned by the flames of love too much so im going to wait until i heal. I dont think i can handle being with anybody right now. Another factor i almost forgot, my other best friend, lets call him Landon, he is in love with Kristin, and i woulnt want her coming in between me and Landon's friendship. It may seem quite repetitive and Deja vu like, but i dont know. For crying out loud, if i already have doubts though, what are the possibilities that it would really last long. I dont know what to do, given the situation placed above. I really need help though. What should i do?!!??!?
If you are having doubts alreay its not meant to be. And you just need to go with what your gut is telling you and that seems like a no. It seems like you still have feelings for gabby. Maybe you should try to reconcile things with her first. Good luck!!

I like this guy I'll call him Brian, when he had a girlfriend he always flirted with me, but Friday his girlfriend broke up with him then he was at a dance I went to and we barely spoke. he probably talked to you and flirted with you before because he knew that he had a girlfriend so he couldn't really mess things up. but now that he doesn't have a girlfriend anymore he is all concerned about making the wrong move... and things like that. but idk. hope that it all works out for you.

I enjoy watching tv series on DVD. Ones I have enjoyed are "Soprano's", "Sex & the City", "Star Trek TNG", & "Dawson's Creek". Can anyone recommend a new series for me to watch with a continuing story line; not a comedy like "Sienfeld."
go with gilmore girl's it is the best show ever created!! it is a plot about a girl an dher mother. but her mother had her when she was younger so they are more like best friends and sisters than mother and daughter, i know many people that enjoy it and hopefully you will too!!

be careful with people on the internet. it is really easy to pull a scam using the internet. it could really be a 57 year old man that is trying to get in a young girl's pants because he hasn't gotten any since his wife left him for the mail man. so just be careful.

ok so i always like a guy and i always want a bf and then i flirt to make them like me. then i go out with them and like 2 weeks into it or so i stop liking them and want 2 break up with them and after like a month+ i finally break up with them and then i realize taht i still like themand sometimes i go back out with them and sometimes i don't. but then as soon as i don;t have a bf i want 1 again. why do i do this? and how do i stop?
You want the idea of a boyfriend. you like the idea of someone that you can cuddle with, hold hands with, and all that good stuff. you probably also like flirting. I don't know how you stop doing that.

i like this guy and i have for awhile. and then someone finally told him that i liked him and he said that he liked me a little. and then it became vacation and i havent talked to him in a awhile but i still like him and i don't think that he will like me @ all nemore. how do i make him like me? should i still like even if he doesnt like me?
you can't choose who you like. if he liked you before break chances are he will like you after break. try not to be overly into him. you might scare him away. just show him all your good qualities and then he will surely like you. good luck!

i was at my friends birthday party and she liked this guy and so i kind of forced him in the direction of asking her out. And i am not really sure that he wanted to. But then i have been talking to him online and a couple times on the phone and i have started to like him.I have hung out with him a couple times. Then the most recent one is when me, my friend and him just went to her room and watched a movie. I wasn't really watching the movie all that much because i was drawing but my friend said that he wasnt really watching the movie either cuz he was watching me.
Then later on in the movie he moved really close and started drawing with me and i dont know why but when he touched me it made my heart beat faster. But right after the movie was over he had to go because he was going somewhere with his girlfriend and some friends. Since then everytime i am online he isnt on and everytime i have an away message up he gets on and leaves me messages like hey or why are you always gone or come back.i don't know if he likes his girlfriend but i am too afraid to ask him. what should i do? i want to tell him that i like him but i am not sure if i should, what do you think? help me please.
just remember the saying chicks before dicks. If your friend is a good enough friend then you don't want to lose her over a guy. Talk to him slowly sliding in the question about whether or not he likes his girlfriend. If he says yes. and it sounds like he is mad. just say that you heard that he liked someone else. or it looked like the were mad at each other today. little things like that work! good luck. hope everything works out.

Hey everyone. I was wondering what YOU think is cute to paint or re-arrange your room, because my room has no windows and its always so dark and depressing down there and i was just wondering if you had any ideas to spice it up a bit at low costs? i will rate for effort.
I would say pick a lighter color for your room if you paint it because the no windows thing will make things really dark with dark paint. Umm. What I would do is go to Ikea. They have a lot of cool ideas (they have rooms set up on display and none of the ones i have seen have windows in them) and you could get many ideas from there. They have great prices and really cool stuff. my whole room is pretty much done from there. good luck.

hey ok im on a diet and im afrid that if i lose to much weight i will look funny!! and i dont want my boobs to shrink or anything. and this is only the first day of it and its goin pretty good but im scared that soon ill get sick of it and quit i dont know what to do can someone please give me suggestions on ways to like stay on my diet thank * i rate *
it depends on how old you are, how much you exercise, and how much you way.. things like that. I personally don't think that dieting is all it is cracked up to be. Don't cut out any of your meals. Just make sure of that and you shouldn't look funny. The body (usually) naturally proportions itself. So if you just make your portions smaller and drink lots of water.. not soda. Then you should be alright.

ok...for the last day of school, before break, i wore white pants...because they were white, i work a thong...im not a slut, so i dont let it hang out, and i usually wear a belt with my pants, but these were nice pants that i didnt need a belt for...well during lunch, i was walking up to my friend and my guy friend wanted to hug me from behind, but ended up steping on my pants adn everyone saw i was wearing a thong. he didnt pants me, but some people saw the string...i know its not bad to wear thongs, but that was a pretty embarassing situation, and i didnt want everyone knowing. tommorow i go back to school, and i dont want everyone laughing at me...what do i do?
Don't even worry about it. At my school people's thongs hang out when the bend over at their locker and no one even cares. I'm sure everyone has forgot about it. It isn't like you were flaunting it on purpose or anything. Not your fault.

I really really like this guy, and someone found out(Long story) and told everyone. The guy now knows, and I thought he liked me, but then he has a girlfriend. There is another guy who may like me and I kinda like him, so should I move on, or keep my hopes up?PLESE DONT DELETE!!
If you like this guy enough (the new guy) then I would say that you should definitely go out with him. If the guy that you first liked already has a girlfriend then why should you not have a boyfriend? Well, in my free time, i like to create routines for songs that I like. Well, I do hip rolls in a song, and my question is, why do my hips get so sore after im done doing them??? Its not the first time i have done them, I used to do them a lot, now all of a sudden they hurt a lot. Has this happened 2 any1 before or do any of you know what it is??? Much help is appreciated!
That has never happened to me. But maybe all of a sudden you are doing them a different way that is putting tension on your hips which is causing them to be sore. sorry i don't have better advice.

I've had a hamster before (when I was really young) and since have gotten into reptiles a lot, and have snakes and lizards and all that. So I'm pretty used to handling a lot of animals, (and, well, I wouldn't do something idiotic like holding a rodent before handling my snakes.)
I think rats are one of the most intelligent species of animals, and make great pets. I've always loved them, and I'd like to get a young rat. - I'm not sure how to take care of one, though. Are they OK in a regular cage? In a tank? Is taking care of a rat more complicated, or about the same as a hamster? If I do get one, I want it to have a full life. How long do they usually live?
I tried looking info up on these guys but everything was contradictory, depending where I got it from. Thanks for anyone who helps, and please - no comments on rats and snakes being "gross! eww!!!11oneone!!". They're really nice animals and beautiful creatures.
umm... my 4 year old next door neighbor used to have a rat. They kept theirs in a tank with everything that would be used with a hamster. (except for the spinning wheel) she would carry the rat around with her and it was very faithful. They are about the same amount of work as a hamster. I don't know how long rats typically live though because her little friends came over one day and one of them accidentally sat on it, sadly killing it. Sorry. but if you ask someone at the place that you buy your rat then they could probably tell you a lot more. good luck!

ok what should you do when you have parents that buy themselves alot of things but nothing for you
Umm. i don't know what to tell you.. do they feed you and clothe you?? because that is all they technically have to do. but just tell them that you like something the next time that you go shopping and if they don't buy it for you.. tell them how you feel. Don't throw a temper tantrum because then you will never get what you want because they will think you're too immature. Talk to them in a calm reasonable manner.. good luck. because everyone needs to get stuff every once in a while!!!

I like my boyfriend, and i like to be around him. but im not sure if i really like/love him. Im 15/f. He says he likes me too, but we dont really have that much in common. I had my heart broken in the past and well i really dont want it to happen again so i was wondering if maybe thats why im not really into this guy. You need to relax and go with the flow. You are only 15 years old. No matter how hard you try to stop it.. your heart will be broken plenty of times. it happens to almost everyone. if this guy is as awesome and nice as you say he is then you have nothing to worry about. have fun with him and trust him. keep everything open and tell him how you are feeling.
