hmm..maybe next time you are out with either oen of your parents..show them something you want and if they are like "no, we always get you stuff" then give them examples of things that they got for themselves, and that you should be able to get something too. another thing you could try is asking for an allowance so you can get your own stuff with your own money.

Umm. i don't know what to tell you.. do they feed you and clothe you?? because that is all they technically have to do. but just tell them that you like something the next time that you go shopping and if they don't buy it for you.. tell them how you feel. Don't throw a temper tantrum because then you will never get what you want because they will think you're too immature. Talk to them in a calm reasonable manner.. good luck. because everyone needs to get stuff every once in a while!!!

That's your parents money, not yours. So they have a right to spend it the way they want to;after all they did work for it most likely. If you have your necessitites (and by this I don't mean the new Underoath CD or w/e kind of music you like; I mean clothes, food, shelter...etc.)then you shouldn't be upset. It would help if I knew how old you are, because if you're over 14 and your complaining about this then you need to grow up and get a job. My parents don't give me any money at all for extra spending and I get by just fine working at a local music store!!

i know exactly how you feel. but the hardest people to be honest with and point out that they are wrong is your parents- so i know this is going to sound extremly hard- but talk to them! just say you would like an allowance or something- and they'll think you are being really mature. good luck!

Just talk to your parents and tell them how you feel. If you're old enough, you can get a job. Just be happy with what you have. Hope I helped :)

I dont get exactly what the problem is, who really cares? Just be thankful for what you DO have, because your parents are probably good parents, and any good parent knows what their doing=)

Get a job? I know it may seem like your parents don't buy things for you, but you are just probably not taking into consideration the things they do buy for you. I know as we grow up we want more and more, and it seems like we get less and less of what we really want, but a lot of times parents can't afford to give us everything we want and they are also trying to enstill values in us. Be appreciative of what you do have and get. Liek the basics: Tv,Movies,Clothes,Shoes,Stereo,Shampoo,FOOD,etc.
If you want things to change, maturally ask your parents if you can start working more around the house in exchange for more things. Do some chores. Or, if they still say no, get yourself a job. Even something as simple as babysitting can make a difference. I bet your parents are just trying to teach you the value of money. :)
