I know that it's a while away, but it's already starting to worry me. I asked my parents where they wanted me to go to high school and they told me about this private school. And since I already go to one, I really wanted to go to a public high school. So it made me mad. I don't know how to convince them. And they said that the place I wanted to go wasn't their first choice out of the public high schools. None of my friends will go to the private school, most of them will go to the one I want to go to. And there's tons more reasons. How do I convince them? It's a big issue and we argue about it every day. Can anybody help?

As to convincing your parents, well unless you've got a scholarship waiting, or a good paying job, chances are you're going to need them to pay for college. So stop acting like a spoiled kid and do as your folks say. [ AskCat's advice column | Ask AskCat A Question ]

( i.e., gangsta .. hehe) It won't get u used to the high life. Also, your parents wouldn't have to pay so much money for nearly the same type of education. Remind them of everything that you have done like your good grades. your an athlete. things along those lines.. things that show that you are responsible and they will have no reason to at least let you try it out.
