Hey my name is Courtney. I'm in 10th Grade at East Grand Rapids High school.I have long blonde hair, hazel eyes and im 5'7. haha. I love to snowboard, hang out with my friends, go to movies, work out, read, and I LOVE the beach. One thing I'd love to do more of is travel. Where do you get backgrounds for your advice column!!?!?

They have default ones already on here, but you can go to like xanga layouts and get the URL from the background and use it on here and it'll work just fine. If you need a more specific answer just ask!

I have massive amounts of spyware and all that crap. I am going to have to re format it but I'm wondering if I can fix it on my own. If I just download a spyware removal program-it makes it worse. I tried removing the program, but all it does is show up again. Is there anyway I can remove programs for sure without using "add or remove programs" because it doesnt seem to work. Oh and any other tips for stopping this whole spyware thing? Whoever thought of spyware should be shot...

I've had my period for two years now. It's verrrrry irregular. It will skip months and come anytime during the month. I've gone 3 months with out my period. I never know when it's going to show up. I've heard that sometimes if you're skinny that might have something to do with it. I'm like 5'6 and i weigh 105 pounds. Do you think it has anything to do with it? What do you think i should do? If you go through a time when you're not eating enough, your body gets to a point where your period stops. But it could be up to 7 months before you get it again, and then you'llbe back to normal. Its normal the first few y ears for your period to be irregular and not always come at the exact same time. But if you are truly concerned, talk to your dr.

Breaking up is never easy. You just got to be honest. Just make sure you tell him clearly that you def. want to remain friends. A lot of people always say "lets just be friends" and alot of people take that as a nice way of saying "I dont want to see you anymore" but just tell him the truth, that you would rather not be dating anymore and that it is nothign against him but you would still like to hang out. Sorry that was sort of vague but I hope it helped. If you need more help just ask and ill see what I can do!

Try www.google.com. Just kidding. Try going on TLC.com and looking at the past designs they have used on trading spaces. If you have no luck finding ideas online, go to a local bookstore and they have TONS of interior design magazines which lots of good ideas in them. Hope that helped.

The cheapest, most natural, and gauranteed to work way to tan, is the sun. It won't make you orange, stain your hands, and most of all..its free =). To gradually build up a tan lay out for about an hour right in the sun. For 30 minutes, lay on your back, then rotate. Or whatever, but that way you'll get an even tan. Believe it or not, you can STILL get somewhat color on cloudy days, just not as direct and hot. And supposedly if you use tanning oil, it'll help you tan better but I dont use it so I have no idea

I know pretty much nothing about tanning lotions, I mean, I don't use them personally, however I've tried like a little bit and it didnt even show up but I dunno. haha.

OR, the safest way to tan is using a bronzer make up. I don't use them but try reading in a summer issue of cosmo girl, teen vogue, or teen magazines in general and they almost ALWAYS have ways with make up to give you a 'sunkissed look'

And last but not least, the tanning bed, which I like to refer to as the cancer coffin. I have no idea what the craze is over them. I think over time going to the tanning booth alot would get a bit expensive but I have no idea, I just tan outside. haha.

Ok, well Im 13 female and I haven't gotten my period. But I've been discharging ALOT lately, its Kinda gross. When I wake up There will be so much discharge down there, and like if im climbin over the couch or somethin and it accidently hits "down there" I'll start discharging like crazy. Whats goin on and how long will it last?

Okay... my old friend constantly had boyfriends but I know I am prettier than her...and people have told me that but I can't seem to get a boyfriend. No! There is definitely nothing wrong with you. You're doing the right thing by not just going out with people and just having sex. Its a good thing to do and you'll be glad someday you waited. Someday you'll finally find a guy who respects you and goes out with you for the fact you're a good person who won't just go out with any ol guy and have sex. There is nothinggg wrong with that.

I highhlyyy reccomend you wear a tampon. If you don't know how, read the instructions on the box, but whatever you do...DO NOT wear a pad, or go without anything. It'd possibly turn out to be extremely embarassing.

ok, i want to get into really good shape for the upcoming school year because i plan on working out hard over the course of the year. im trying to get my stomach to get really flat and its not working. i do sit ups every single day and i do a total of at least 4500 in a week. i stretch everyday too and i go on walks as often as possible, probably a few times a week. i swim twice or three times a week too but nothing seems to have any affect on my body. any advice? plz help! i rate high for any reasonable answer

Just keep it up, have patience, you'll see results. Situps are very effective over a long period of time. I'd know. Hope that helped.

I'm sure you guys are really sick of period questions. Heaven knows there's a lot of them.

Anyway, I've had my period for about 6 years now, so not much has been new to me. Okay, so today is the day I should be getting it (seeing as how I keep a calendar)... and I noticed some blood, but then it kind of ebbed off. I'm not sure if it's completely stopped, but what's up with that? I've been exercising lately, something I never do, so could that be why it's weird today?

Ok so tommorw im goign to the cape for a week. Can someone give a lis on what to pack its gonan be 80's al week
and ill be swimming in our pool or beach everyday thnaks

Just pack the typical stuff like:
-tank tops and t-shirts
-comfortable pajamas
-bathing suits
-a few towels
-sunscreen!
-sunglasses(?)
-even though it might be in the 80's, pack a pair of pant, a sweatshirt and/or long sleeve shirt along, just in case!

ok my teeth arnt white.. ive used crest whitening strips before, but my teeth are very sensitive and it hurts them. what else helps get your teeth white besides buying stuff in the store or going to the dentsist?? thanksss!!!!

Theres not very much you can do..things like coffee also stain your teeth, but sometimes teeth arent as white as they possibly could be due to tartar on your teeth, so if you haven't been to the dentist in a while, try arranging an appoitment and getting your teeth cleaned can make a slight difference.
