I have massive amounts of spyware and all that crap. I am going to have to re format it but I'm wondering if I can fix it on my own. If I just download a spyware removal program-it makes it worse. I tried removing the program, but all it does is show up again. Is there anyway I can remove programs for sure without using "add or remove programs" because it doesnt seem to work. Oh and any other tips for stopping this whole spyware thing? Whoever thought of spyware should be shot...

Use that to get rid of it, it will work.
As for removing the programs without using add or remove option, you can go directly into your hard drive via my computer, local disc, program files, and delete the whole file that the program is in.
If an error occurs, just boot into safe mode and delete from there. Sometimes they wont delete due to them being in use. You could also force delete it from command prompt. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
