hey... well my boyfriend jordan and i have been going out for a month now. but my problem is that he invited me to go to the community pool with his family tomorrow. but, i don`t want to go. i am veerrryyy self-concious when my stomach is showing, because i`m quite chubby for my age. i don`t want to lie to him, but i also don`t want to be in a bathing suit around other people. so, i`m scared to go because i`m afraid he`ll be embarassed to be seen with me. what should i do??

Well as rood as this may sound a month isnt that long and also it kind of sounds like hes using you hate to breake it to you! But anyways who cares what people think if he cares alot about you he wont think anything of it wear a skirt and shirt over it to not draw attention then before you get into the pool take it off and dont draw attention to it the more relaxed you will be the more fun you will have! my sister is always finding ways for me to get in trouble when it's not my fault. She is 16(almost 17) and i'm 14. like now, for instence, i was watching tv and my show was 8:00-8:30. and at 8:15 she comes downstairs screaming and yelling that she NEEDS to watch a baseball game that her boyfriend MIGHT be at. well my show was half over and there are 3 other tvs in our house so i told her i was watching to go watch somewhere else. so she goes outside and makes up some fake story saying that i had been watching tv for 2 hours and she had to watch it it was on a channel we don't get in any other rooms when we could get it everywhere else. so she comes back in saying i have to move. and of course, i'm not going to my shows back on so she literally JUMPS on top of me screaming and fighting and punches me and kicks me then jumps off and runs outside to tell my dad i just hit her. Now i have a bruise on each leg, probably one in between my ribs, and my back hurts when i move and i can't breathe without it hurting. so when my shows over i get up and decide to go outside to tell my dad MY side of the story and as i'm opening the door she laughs and calls back "whipped!". my dad wouldn't even listen to my story and this always happens. why can i do to have them hear my side of the story. and if i'm the one whipped.. why did she have to watch if her boyfriend MIGHT be there? and why did he just call saying he's not and wanted to see what was on SFN or w/e so she's flipping through the 999 channels we have trying to find it.. Well thasts a hard to answer kind of thing i am also the youngest and I find the same things hapening to me! So your not the only one. When this thing happens say can you go somewear else? If she says no turn the other cheek and go to another room. I know how un-fair but when you do these types of things in the long run your parents will trat you better and maybe your sister even will. Now I know how unfair it seems but it does work and also try and keep your room clean and do all your chorse without having to be told and it builds your parents ideas of how good of a person you really are. Atleast this works on my parents except for my oldest brother it dosent hes 6'6" and 23 STILL living at home and I get beat up by him all the time and I get blamed for it but when you are nicer to them they are usually nicer to you for a while they might be like oh wow what on earth are yo utrying to prove and you need to say well I am trying to become a more responsible person. Me and my firend have been best firend sence 2nd grade (now were in highschool).We had a little fight(blown out of proportion)our first fight! and we have been firends for like 8 years. Anyway that was months ago it only lasted about two days.I have noticed that our firendship seems to be fading. One of my other firend amy has been hanging with my bestfirend alot, basically everyday. She barly hangs out with me let alone anyone else now adays because she is always with amy. I feel bad and don't want to say anything because amy died died last summer and she really needs someone to support her. well i am sorry she died but your story is hard to follow. But what I think you need to do is to go email or somthing like that to you bestfriend and say look im sorry! If she writes back rood comments then switch the subject on her to somthing that good and fun has happened between the 2 of you! This was my friendship keeper with my bff and know we are the same and never talk about the fight we got over we have been bff's for 13 years and were only 14! So just be friendly and things sgould get back on the easy track again soon and if it dosent work shes not worth your time and sadness of stressing! So I hope I helped. Good Luck

Well it depends if it is fancy i am asuming it is. If you have a good body and you feel comfertable wear a nice cute dress that shows it off maybe in the black color sceem. But if your body isnt the best in the world go more nice with a nice pencil skirt or dress pants and a pretty maybe a little sparckly top this is for about the 20-30. Then if you are 40 to 50 if you have a good body wear a dress but dont over do it by showing too much skin. You will know it will be on how well you present yourself.Or if you are not so good of a body then do the same thing as the last a pencil skirt and a nice top will always work! And if you are older than in your 50's then go with maybe a suit dress if you know what im talking about.Hope this helps! Good luck picking

I have been with my girlfriend for 8 months, I honestly do love her. Whenever I tell her I love you she says I know like it's not a big deal or something, now whenver I tell her I love you she says I think you love me for the wrong reason, it hurts me when she says things like that, not once has she told me she loves me back. Am I just wasting my time? What should i do to respond to her when she tells me I love her for the wrong reason?

Well if she is saying it then you either need to talk to her and tell her how you feel or if you dont feel like doing that then right her a letter or email or somthing of that sort. You can't force someone to say that they love you but if it has been 8 months then i would say if she dosent seem to respond to the letter or if you talk to her there might be another guy she is intrested in. I hate to tell you but that is some of the ways us girls give hints that were getting less intrested. Hope I helped. Good Luck

I am not sure but i think it might be possible that i could have genital warts.. there is only one spot but the thing is that there is no way i could have been infected from someone else because its been there since before i have been at all sexually active. i have done some research but i am not sure is it possible that the disease is hereditary and i could have gotten it from a parent or do i have nothing to worry about... please help, its been making me really nervous around my girlfriend and i have been avoiding going too far because of it (link)

Well if your a teen then you need to go to a trusted adult/parent if they dont already know and second go to a doctor. There may be somthing that they can do about them and on the subject of an std if you have never had sex than its not it!

ok look. ive been having periods for like over a year now. and like. every time i use a tampon i leek with in 30 min to an hour... even if i use the super ones. and its not like i bleed a whole lot either. just regular.

Ok so i am in a huge band and i am one of the dancers. When i came to the band everyone warned me about this certain guy and i dunno how it happend but he pulled me in. I totally feel for him, i dotn even know how, i knew that is i did he would want sex, and the day it happend i knew it was going to happen. But i dont understand how i let it happen. Since when i went over to his house i knew what was going to happen i lied to him and told him i was on drugs. Cause he is a huge drug addict, which is bad since i have got into drugs laitly and i am trying to quit.
anyways to the point he kept asking me and asking me finally i got mad anough and i just said ok, we used a condom and everything then we had sex. it hurt so much and i cnat believe i did it. After that i went on the pill just to be safe. But he didn't talk to me for 2 months after
it broke my heart.

Well you may have made a mistake but when the erge comes it comes and you cant help it. But also you can still be friends with him and just not get to close and dont get drawn in again and as far as the whole drug thing that is somthing to get out of and fast before it becomes an addiction! Ok, so I'm 15 and my boyfriend and I have together for a good solid 7 months. We're sexually active, but trust me when I say that our relationship is about more than just sex. We respect eachother and this is the first relationship I've had that really means something to me. I'm not positive if I'm 'in love' but it sure comes close.
So, we've had sex maybe 8 or 10 times since we lost our virginity to each other a couple months ago. At first, I was totally "I'm ALWAYS going to use protection!" but we've gone a few times without (but we've made SURE to pull out). I know that that there are still SO many risks but I thought we were being careful. Well the more I've been thinking about it (and it's been increasing lately) the more I think I might be pregnant! The thought alone totally freaks me out!! I'm adopted and my birthmother had her first child at age 13 and me at 15 and I've always promised to myself not to follow in her footsteps. I've been researching everything online and I havn't had any of the 'earliest signs of pregnancy' EXCEPT for my missed period which was supposed to come yesterday but I've had missed/late periods before. Apart from that I havn't been bloated or tender anywhere and I don't know if it's just paranoia, but my stomache's been looking a little "poochy" lately. The last time we had unprotected sex was maybe 2-3 weeks ago but again, he pulled out wayy before he came.
I'M FREAKING OUT, PLEASE HELP!!

Ok well if you think you have the slitist chance of being pregnant then you need to go to the store and buy a pregnancy test and if it is positive tell your adopted mom its very important you get to a doctor. I have done the same thing had un protected sex and I have been luck enough to have never had a skiped period or anything but yeah i know whats its like to have someone close to you have had a baby at the age of 13 because my bf's mom got pregnant with him at that age! And if you do need to tell someone if they dont know your sexually active then you maybe a little in trouble but they will love the baby as much as posible evan if they are simi ashamed! Thanks SO much to everybody who answered my last question! Now that I feel a little more confident about this whole thing, I've got yet another problem:
Should I tell my boyfriend about this? I mean I love him so much; he means way too much to me and the last thing I want to do to him is freak him out. Everytime we joke about or do that "What if..." thing, and the idea of kids come up, he always says that he never wants them. I'm guessing the whole idea of pregnancy would get him all, i don't know...wierd. I on the other hand would LOVE to have them (but NOT UNTIL IM WAY OLDER, please don't think that I'm like that!) but regardless, I don't want to send him running. But on the other hand, if something's going on shouldn't he know? Everytime we fool around now, I get this whole wave of guilt but I still want him so badly. I don't want to make this into a big deal if it's just a false alarm. I also know that this would be a lesson to the both of us about birth control and responsibility (my mom's a nurse =] ) and that "if he really loves me too, he won't freak out but guys are unpredictable. I still don't want to risk anything between us. Any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hunny im sorry to tell you but you have to tell him. In a cuple months he will notice then he will feel betrayed yeah if he does go running say he wasnt worth it! And after all he is your babies father. I didnt know that my real dad i have never met (which i still havent) I would love to meet him but he ran when he found out my mom got pregnant. I have lived for 13 yrs and he has never come in contact with me and it does kill to the heart so yeah he needs to know and if he is a really good guy then he would stay. My real dad moved to the clear end of the contry.

it may take every bit of you but it will be a slow process i hate strep it hurts so get some cough drops from the store to help the pain in you rthroat my favorite brand is halls throat breathers and eat them like candy. You need to tell her. Other wise she might get worried that there is somthing wrong and thats why you havent started after the first one you dont have to tell her if you ron it or not but its a fact of life. But also after the weekn or how ever long you go your sister will know. Plus after a while of going if you have any male animals this may sound gross but most of the time they will sniff downn there from the smell and if someone were to get real close they might be able to smell it

Ok. so here's the deal..... My boyfriend broke up with me about a week ago on the last day of school. I think the reason why was because I was kinda being a jerk that day because my mom made me REALLY mad the night before. Well anyway.... I WANT HIM BACK! He was the sweetest guy that I had ever met. He might have thrown some little fits here and there since he's used to getting his way, but most of the time he was very affectionate. Well i have an idea if his birthday is comming p then maybe send him a card through the mail and do not put a retearn address say you are very sorry and you want to know if he would forgive you and go back out with him. I know one time I had the same issue over the whole summer he came back to me on the first day of school and wanted to go back out with me by then I had found another guy who we have been going out for quit the some time now. Also you can make him want you by ashowing him how good of a person you really are just say your sorry but dont over do it on a web site one time there was a poll and the guys biggest complaint about girls was that they bega nd say there sorry to many times once twice or even maybe three will be the winning one or maybe he was becomming un intrested and was just waiting for a reson but hopefully thats not the case!
