STD question

Question Posted Thursday May 18 2006, 11:55 pm

I am not sure but i think it might be possible that i could have genital warts.. there is only one spot but the thing is that there is no way i could have been infected from someone else because its been there since before i have been at all sexually active. i have done some research but i am not sure is it possible that the disease is hereditary and i could have gotten it from a parent or do i have nothing to worry about... please help, its been making me really nervous around my girlfriend and i have been avoiding going too far because of it

Well if your a teen then you need to go to a trusted adult/parent if they dont already know and second go to a doctor. There may be somthing that they can do about them and on the subject of an std if you have never had sex than its not it!

I doubt you'll talk to a GYN since you sound like a male.
Make a doctors appointment, they'll tell you all you need to know. It IS possible to contract some STD's nonsexually, from bathrooms and such, but rare. If you shave, it could just be a shaving bump or something similarly harmless. Just have it checked by a doctor. Smart move in avoiding sexual contact until you figure it out!

i'd suggest talking to a gynocologist about your problem only they can tell you if you have genital warts or not. poeple don't always get it from sex sometimes it can be transferred in the wierdest ways but do your self good by seeing a doctor it'll help
