Someone keeps prank calling our home phone. We have no idea who it is and why this is happening. It happens a good 15 times a day. It's been going on for 4 days now. Prior to these past 4 days (about 4 weeks ago), the same thing was occurring - prank calls a good 15 times a day. Yes, that time those calls did stop on their own, but it went on for weeks on end. We never did anything about it, but we probably should have. My main focus for now is right now. Nothing is said when we answer the phone, and they only stay on the line for maybe 1 second. The number is set 'Private'. Could this be a business? Is it more likely that's the case? What can we do about this? How do we go about reporting them? Do we just dial the police? Is there a certain number we should have? Isn't what's going on here illegal!?! Does anyone have any idea what we should expect if we report them? (link)

maybe it's not the morgatge company that's been calling you, but they just happened to be calling at that time. If you press *67 and then a phone number, it will show up as restricted or private on a caller ID. So maybe they person is doing that. Someone can be calling from the mortgage company also. Next time they call, ask to speak to the manager and tell him/her about the problem. The person will probably get fired. If it's not the mortgage company, call the police. They can still find out the number. My friend was doing that to a teacher and got kicked off the softball team for prank calling.

i just got a ipod video ! and it wont let me download no videos ? it downloaded all the songs auto ... but im not sure how to even try to download videos ?

this happened to me. go into the video library and double click it. A screen should pop up saying the video is authorized. this then would allow you to put it on your ipod. also, don't let anything touch the screen (even the little pouch that came with it) because it stratches easy
to download, go into itunes. then go to videos, (on the left) and search for one. then click buy. a screen will tell you what to do next. then, go into the library and drag it onto your ipod.

you said that i should wash my hair 2-3 times a week. well my hair isnt CURLY curly but wavy enough. anyway, im into a few sports everyday of the week and if i dont wash my hair, how can i likee.. make sure it doesnt get smelly? (link)

Try using 2 in 1 shampoo + conditioner. It will wash your hair, but lightly condition your hair. Then, use regular conditioner.

On May 17th, is a banquet, I have been waiting for this for quite awhile now. Ok the dress is a size 6, when I first bought it, it fit perfectly now, my stomach is a little pudgy, I NEED HELP FAST!. I would not eat Mc Donald's Salad because they can still have a lot of sugar (which can turn into fat) In the documentry Super Size Me, it says that only 7 items on the menu don't have sugar, and salad wasn't one of them. Doing crunches and eating right will help. If you don't lose enough weight in time, then I would use that underwear one person was talking about.

sorry idk what catagory to put this under but whatever.
every night i take a shower but every other night i use a shower cap and dont wash my hair. a few people at school said that its bad to wash your hair everyday. i know it strips the oils out but should i not wash it every night? should i not wash it 2 days in a row? my hair is really thick and after taking a shower, my hair gets frizzy. what are some ways i can prevent friz after taking a shower? also i straighten my hair every morning but i dont like burning it so much, i just hate having it so frizzy when i wake up. so, what are some ways i can keep the friz down after taking my shower (and the results will last long through the day).

If you have curly hair, then you should wash your hair 2-3 times a week. Curls need moisture and oils provide that. Deep condition (put conditioner in your hair and leave it in for about 10 minutes) every week to keep your hair moisturized. This will also help the fizzies. When you come out of the shower, put some conditioner over it so it can smooth out the frizzies. Also, use heat protectant spray so you won't burn your hair when your straighten it.

ok i have "dangerously high" cholesteral according to my doctor, and she is putting me on a strict diet. No fat, No red meat, And absolutley NO sugar of any kind(junkfood...etc). The problem is, i LOVEEEEE chocolate and cant go without the taste. I had gone 3 days w.o sugar and then today my moim made brownies and i cracked and ate 3 *cries* Are there any foods that taste like chocolate, but arent disgusting, and are healthy? Like not a lot of fat, sugars etc. Foods that you can get in places like shoprite, pathmark, costco and stop&shop. Preferably things available to people in NYC, specificallt staten island, cuz thats where I am currently living. Thanks a bunch! I rate high for good answers (link)

You can try sugarfree chocolate pudding. You can get it at most foodstores. Also, try eating more oatmeal, it helps lower your cholesterol. Excersise will give you more HDL cholesterol (the good kind) The more HDL cholesterol (high density lippoprotiens) you have, the more bad LDL (low density lippoproteins) cholesterol you can get rid of. try looking at this page for more information. http://www.kidshealth.org/teen/question/dieting/cholesterol.html

When is the best time to start jogging, jump roping, biking, or whatever...after youve eaten or before? At night, before you go to sleep, or the morning when you wake up?

I would work out in the morning so you get it done with. If your busy in the morning after school/work would be good. You don't want to procastinate because then you'll feel bad about not working out.

Try talking to him calmly. It may sound hard, but if you take a deep breath and just say what you have to say, things will be a lot better. Also, try taking out your anger on a pillow. You can punch it, scream at it and you won't be hurting anyone.

ya ok my hair is about shoulder length and i have no clue on what other way to do it i tried a pony tail doesnt work for me and i always wear my ponytail kinda up on the side and im sick of doing it like that i need a new hairstyle... and having it down looks like crap

I have shoulder length hair also. One style I love on me is I start with straight hair. *if yours is natrually straight, good. If not, then blow dry it straight before styling* Take your hair and put into half pony. (When only the front/bangs are in a ponytail) Curl it with a curling iron and then put hairspray in it. It looks really good on most people. Also, look in magazines, on TV ect to find styles you like and imitate them.

ok lately I've noticed that I been eating only when I feel bored and not when I'm really hungry. I'm really scared because I've also gained weight, not alot only 2-3 lbs( im not fat),and I just want to know how can I stop this habit before it gets out of control and I turn overweight or something?

Try making a list of things to do so you won't be bored as often. Also, try drinking more water. A lot of people mistake thrist for hunger. Make sure you eat 3 meals a day, so you won't be starving and pig out later. Also, I don't know what gender or age you are but if your a girl, it's normal to gain weight during puberty.

i was shaving "down there" and i got an ingrown hair..does anyone know what i should do to it? should i just leave it? and is there anything i can do to prevent it further? (i do use shaving cream)

Just don't do anything to it. It will heal itself. Also to avoid this, try exfoliating the area so that it's not as likely to get one.

my ribs stick out and i don't like how it looks, so how can i gain more weight there? or is there any exercises i can do to tone that area? because its like skinny up there but a little wider as you go down so it looks weird lol. and i just want my ribs to not show up as much. what can i do to fix that? Just eat a little more. Don't completely pig out on junk food, but instead have a second helping of carrots at dinner ect. I have that same problem. If you want, you can wear a t-shirt while you swim. Don't worry, you'll gain weight to cover up your ribs.
