I'm a college sophomore, music ed major (all of the academics-relationship-extracurriculars-applying to college-switching your major-stuff), a musician, and a hardcore music fanatic. I am very quirky. I love Disney movies. I love giving advice. I also love reading, writing, movies, music, computers, piano, etc etc. I'm very honest, up front, and even blunt about some things. I'm pretty opinionated, but I know when to shut up. I like playing football and watching PSU football, as well as basketball, volleyball, and baseball in general. Okay, lately in school I've been kinda failing. But within the past week I've brought some of my grades from an "F" to a "C" or "D". But, my mom says that if I have any "F"s on my next grade report I can't go on to high school next year. Even though I still have 1 more trimester left. I have 1 "F" and there is no possible way to bring it up because my next grade report comes out next week and the teachers had to turn their grades in yesterday. I really want to go on to high school but I won't be able to with this "F". What should I do?

I think it's pretty crappy that your mom won't let you go to high school. Doesn't she realize you can't get anywhere in life without a high school education? Talk to your guidance counselors to get involved in this situation. You need to push the issue- if you drop out of school, your opportunities down the road are going to be very limited.

ok i was having sex with this one guy tony and i couldnt stop. but finnaly it was time u know to take off my thong and put on a condom (on him of course) and so my thong wouldnt come off (it was one of the ones that u r supose to tie) and so he ripped it off and when i was putting the condom on him the door bell rang so i had to get up u know and i was like oh damn we have to stop but he was like oh let it ring we need to do it anyways i hope i am going to do it all night and i was like oh u bet ur luckie ass on that and i couldnt stop and we were burning rubber (when u go really fast and it starts to burn) then i had to go pee so i told him i had to stop so i did then when i came back i saw his friends looking and they have been looking since we started! so i told them they can come in in 10 mins so they were still looking and i was yelling oh tony oh tony and he was like oh jenny oh jenny and then i told his friends to come in. then i got drunk then i was having a three sum and then another guy came in and so in was like a 4 sum. and then they had to go home but i told tony to stay and we were doing it all night. then the next day was school and everyone was staring at me and i was asking the guys i did it with wut wuz going on and they told the whole school and i turned around and 3 guys were humping me so i told them to come to my house so when we went to my house i grabed a whip and everything so i was doing it all night with them! but i took a pregnantcy test and it said i was pregnant but i didnt know whos baby!!!!!!!!!!! You know what? After reading the advice on here, I think they're hitting the mark. Except for one thing.
There's no reason that you should get an abortion. It's your own fucking fault that you did the stupid stuff that you did. Keep this baby through the pregnancy and then give it up for adoption, because it deserves a better life and upbringing than with you. But there's no reason to kill an innocent person because you were too stupid to use a condom or contraception whilst having sex with multiple partners. That's your own fault and you shouldn't take it out on someone else.
I'm all for pro-choice, but under the right consequences- rape, death to mother, etc. But you brought this one upon yourself. Now you have to face the music.
My cousin was FIFTEEN when she got pregnant. FIFTEEN. She had sex with her boyfriend once without a condom and boom, now she has a baby. She was going to study to be a chef, and now she has to cancel those classes for school-age parenting programs. Her life is ruined because of that one bad decision. While I'm with my friends, she's at home with the baby. While I'm taking band, she's taking Child Care 1.
I'm sorry if I sound a little harsh, but did you think you were invisible or something?

It takes so fast to get your ears pierced that you don't have time to think about whether it hurts or not (that is, if you have it professionally done). It feels like getting a shot, pretty much. A really quick shot.

The only reason they're popular is because people like you talk about them. *shrugs* That's the truth! When you're in high school (jr high?), the thing to do is comment on what other people are doing, whether it's your business or not. I do it, everyone my age does it- you claim you don't, but even if you don't talk abuot your own friends, you're talking about the "popular" people. The only thing that makes them "popular" is that people continually talk about them.

I can't sing loudly! Since 6th grade I've tried out for 5 musicals and I haven't made any of them because I can't project my voice. I've tried everything I know of, trying to sing from your diaphram, not your stomach..and NOTHING WORKS! I know I have a good voice, my chorus teacher even told me she couldn't give me a solo because I wasn't loud enough, but she really wanted to. Any tips on singing loudly would be greatly appreciated. (And good songs to practice with, I'm a second Soprano) (link)

Take lessons. Practice singing at home as loud as you can when no one's around. I don't know what else to tell you- I'm a naturally loud person myself, no matter what I do. Keep me updated and I'll try to give you tips on singing, because that's something that I enjoy doing. :)

Do odd jobs around your neighborhood. Shovel snow, mow lowns, clean houses, weed gardens, wash cars, wash dogs, clean pools, whatever. If you want to get into babysitting, see if there's a church nursery that you can help out in until you are old enough to go out on your own. Good luck!

Once I managed to get the ex back, but then we broke up again and it as just as painful (if not more than) as the first time around. The other times I just managed to feel like crap until someone new came into my life or I just moved on and found better things to do with my time.

okay here is the problem.
my friend entered in a beauty pageant and she is in the finals and she had them send ME info so i could enter. but my mother won't let me. my mom is 53 years old and im REALLY bummed out that she won't let me. i feel that im very pretty and that i could even beat my friend if i wanted to (not that i want to beat my friend) is my mom afraid that im not pretty enough to be miss teen of the nations? or does she think i will get a big head? im not going to get a bug head because thats not me. my mom use to do all this stuff when she was younger. is it that she WAY old or am i not good enough for her?

If your mom did this kind of thing, it could be that she had some disappointing experiences and she's trying to protect you from them. If you really want to do this that badly, try to convince your mom that without doing things like this, and succeeding and failing, you will never learn. If it's something you really want to do, persevere and don't give up.

If it's a matter of looking better in a bikini--- find some exercises to tone your muscles. They don't take much discipline and some of them are even fun..... don't turn to plastic surgery for a problem as minute as this!
