i heard somewhere that if u brush your hair while its wet it doesnt help prevent split ends. is this true? bcoz im geting my hair cut 2day and after that i need to really take good care of my hair.

Brushing your hair can actually make your hair slit. Combing however, is apparently different. Combing it when wet will also make it easier to brush after it dries. If you want to talk good care of your hair, hot oil treatments are very good. Best of luck xxxx

Everyone is different. Some girls bleed, other's don't. It also varies about how much it hurts.
I noticed you didn't put your age; not that it matters. As long as you think you are ready you probably are. I don't mean to sound blunt, but if you're not sure you probably aren't ready. Okay, so i'm going out with one of my ex's, and I don't know if it was just a spur of the moment type of thing, but I hung out with him Friday night, it's now Sunday morning. And I don't really have the same feelings for him.

Break up with your ex. I mean, come on, you dont want to be with him. tell him that. im sure that you wouldnt want to be with him if you didnt have feelings for anyone else. so dont tell him about you being in love with some one else. just say that there is a reason you guys broke up a while a go, and you think you made the right decision back then. You sound beautiful. Have you tried experimenting with make up? I think a beige eye shadow would really make your eyes stand out. Your blonde, like you said. Have you thought of maybe getting some high lights?

Next, clothes. Does what you wear really compliment your features? You say your tall, have you tried wearing skirts? With a low heel, i think it would make you look very pretty.

Last night I had a horrible dream. In my dream, my boyfriend left me for my best friend. We got into a little argument, he broke up with me and started dating her. I was heartbroken. I couldn't sleep after I woke up. It is really bothering me. I like this guy so much and I don't want him leaving me for someone else especially my best friend. What could this dream mean if it means anything?

Its perfectly natural to dream about things like this. Its your sub-conscience's way of playing out your doubts, fears etc. Im sure your best friend loves you a lot and wouldnt do anything to hurt you at all. And i think you know how much your boyfriend likes you. If you dont feel secure in the relationship, maybe you should talk about it with him? I have 3 sisters and 1 brother, we are all over the age of 40, and except for me, nobody has small kids anymore.
In general we all take turns in hosting the various Holiday Meals (as our parents are no longer alive). When it is my turn, invariably my wife and I do virtually all of the cleanup of the dishes etc. In other words, my family doesn't help out in the clean-up. However, when it is my sister's turn (my brother doesn't host as he lives out of state), I always lend a hand in cleaning-up.
Now, one of my sisters wants to host Thanksgiving Dinner, this will be the first time that she is hosting (in the past, my parents were the host). She has stated that she will need help in cleaning up. Do I take this opportunity to mention that nobody helps me in cleaning up? or do I just help out and say nothing? or any other ideas?

Help her clear up and when it comes to your turn, ask generally if anyone would mind helping you clear up in the kitchen. If they do not offer, remind them that you have helped them before, and if you still have no success, then i suggest you dont host them anymore. They will soon get the point. Best of luck xxxx

Tell your Gp and he will refer you to a gynocologist. Its nothing to be ashamed about, no ones saying you have anything wrong with you, your just choosing to be on the safe side. Ignore all this "cherry" business. If you have sex with someone (a mans penis entering a womans vagina) then you are no longer a virgin. If you have sex at or above the legal age of consent there is nothing that stopping you from having kids in the future. The "cherry popping" is usually meaning the small layer of skin that breaks when you have sex. This can happen during extreeme exercise as well as sex, and if that does happen you are still a virgin. hope i cleared some things up xxx

can i loose weight by not eating but one time a day or not eating at all or will that make me sick i really wanna loose 20 pounds by november plzzzzzz help me give me some advice?

As i say this to everyone, exercise and a calorie controlled diet.
Eating wheet/whole grain cereals, lowfat yogurt, steamed vegetables etc can make you lose weight fast. Try and only eat things with less than 150 callories.
Swimming is a great exercise. Its said a lot but still under rated. I lost a stone in two weeks by swimming for 2 hours everyday and eating a ccalorie controlled diet. If you dont have much time, yoga. You dont get sweaty or out of breath, but it really does work. Maybe you could enrole in a class with some friends?

Ok, so here's the thing. I am 23 years old and I have never dated before. I have recently met this really great guy, and we have a great time going out together. Here's where I start having trouble, I am very nervous about the 'first kiss'. For me this is not only the first realtionship kiss, it is my first kiss ever. How do I know what to do, and when do we have that 'first kiss'. I feel so dumb being so inexperienced, and I just don't know what to do. Can a person get two associate's degrees in the same major from different colleges? (like get an Associate's in Spanish at one college and an Associate's in Spanish at another). Can you do that with bachelor's degrees, too?

I dont think you can. I think one associates degree is the same as two, logically they would deam you qualified for the same thing. but i wouldnt take my word for it, ask your college/school. sorry i couldnt be more help xxxx

So me and my boyfriend have been together for almost a year and a half. We have been through some tough times but have made it and are happy. We tend to fight over stupid things and he can be pretty immature at times. Well recently the subject of marriage came up again. Dont do it. In the end its your own decision, but you've already said you dont want to. Besides, in my honest opinion, you havent been together for long enough. Im sure he wont break upwith you ebcause you wont marry him! I dont know how old you are but im assuming your 20 something. Sorry if im wrong. Just tell him that you are happy with the way things are, and if he has confidence in your relationship, which he obviously does, then it wouldnt hurt to wait until you were both certain. A year ago I moved to a condo and i met this girl, for now i will call her C. And C was a nice girl, she was like my best friend for a while and then i met her friend, K. Shit happened, and then I got into a fight with K and then i got intoa fight with C. But then, i made up with C and K. Then C moved and it was just me and K. I really dont want to be C's friend again cause we're just gonna end up fighting again. So, should i listen to K and make up with C or should I just forget about C? I really need some advice on this.

Maybe you and C could become civil to eachother, but not friends? That doesnt involve sharing secrets, or hanging out just you two, but friendly conversation now and then, hanging out in a larger group. Make an effort. i am 20, and i've been having rather regular menstration cycle so far(24 days cycle). this month, my menstral cycle was only 17 days.
my period usually lasts for 4-5 days.. but this time it's been 7 days already.
usually i bleed a little after my period ends. i thought its due to excessive excercise. but this time it seems way too long!
i'm worried.

I wouldnt worry. Everyone has irregular periods occasionally. However if you are particularly concerned, go see your doctor. Im sure they will be able to reassure you that its normal. If youre worried, taking iron tablets usually makes heavy or long periods more healthy.

Thats sweet. OK, well however much you care for her you need to be light-hearted about it, so you dont put her under too much pressure. The beginnings of relationships are the best bits so dont rush her. Just say: ______, i still have feelings for you. I wear a lot of black clothing. In fact, I'm almost always in black. I'm not attempting to be goth or anything; I simply like the colour in clothes and I feel it suits me. Occasionally I'll wear colours but for the most part I wear black. Ever since this though, I've copped a lot of critisism from people. So many people have asked me why I wear so much black. A couple of guys have said they'd like me better if I didn't wear so much black. One "friend" of mine even went so far to tell me I don't look good in it and to stop wearing it!

I just can't understand it. Why is it such a big deal? I'm a happy person, and am not goth at all. I just like black clothes. What should I do?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. If your happy, wear what ever you like. Friends will be there for you no matter what and not stop liking you because of what colour you wear. If you feel comfortable more in that colour then wear it. You're not making a statement, then who cares if people dont approve. If its making you feel bad, and you want to experiment with other colours do. But it should only be for you - noone else. Best of luck xxx
