Last night I had a horrible dream. In my dream, my boyfriend left me for my best friend. We got into a little argument, he broke up with me and started dating her. I was heartbroken. I couldn't sleep after I woke up. It is really bothering me. I like this guy so much and I don't want him leaving me for someone else especially my best friend. What could this dream mean if it means anything?
BabyNiks answered Sunday October 15 2006, 4:12 pm: don`t worry about it. you might be stressed about something, and that might be triggering your dreams. i assure you that it`s just a one-time dream, and it probably doesn`t mean anything. if it helps, talk to your boyfriend about the dream. i`m sure that it`d help. i really hope i helped. :D
HELP4YOU answered Sunday October 15 2006, 3:05 pm: -Hey,
Don't worry. I'm sure it was just a silly, insignificant dream. Usually people dream about occurrences that happened that previous day. So maybe before you fell asleep, you had seen your boyfriend, best friend, and maybe you saw something of TV about a b/f and g/f breaking up and just applied it.
Also if you're worried about your boyfriend leaving, talk to him. Tell him how you feel about him and see if he truly feels the same. If he does, you have nothing to worry about :).
ADViCELOLA answered Sunday October 15 2006, 2:38 pm: I really wouldn`t think much of it. I have bad dreams all the time, and I don`t think it affects on anything. So don`t worry about it :) [ ADViCELOLA's advice column | Ask ADViCELOLA A Question ]
BLONDShorty answered Sunday October 15 2006, 2:35 pm: THAT'S REALLY SCARY BECAUSE I HAD THAT SAME DREAM LAST NIGHT BUT IT WAS DIFFERENT WE WERE IN A CAR. anyways, i think maybe subconsciously, we are worried/stressed, and our fears tend to come out in our dreams. i'm sure there's nothing to worry about. i didn't tell either of them because it'd just be awkwad lol but talk to another one of your friends about it because sometimes when we say our dreams, and we get them off our chest, we tend to feel better. hope i helped. *muaz* xoxo [ BLONDShorty's advice column | Ask BLONDShorty A Question ]
DiNOxTHUNDER answered Sunday October 15 2006, 1:56 pm: i looked up what this meant in a dream dictionary.here`s what i came up with.
boyfriends:
If you dream of a specific person such as a boyfriend, you will need to concentrate more on the other symbols of your present dream as the boyfriend can represent several different aspects or people in your life. A boyfriend can be friend, enemy, lover, companion, or the symbol of any of these things in the emotions. If bodily harm is threatened from this person it would be best to take this as a literal, true, dream and act accordingly.
fighting:
Fighting is a no nonsense dream of change, and the dream itself will have to point to the area of your life that will be changed. This signifies a change in job, or a change of enterprise if you own your own business. The degree of change can be determined by how hard you fought, and if you won or lost the fight. If you dream of others fighting it is telling you to be more careful with your financial dealings, and watch your spending.
betrayal:
All dreams of betrayal should be studied closely in connection with the entire dream to find out just who or what to expect betrayal from. Betrayal as an omen is not much to go on and the dreamer must take this as a literal warning of an insincere friend or lover and study the dream with this in mind. Sometimes things can 'betray' you by not giving you value and satisfaction for cost.
friend(s):
If you dream of good friends in a congenial and happy setting then you will soon here good new of them or a close relative. If they exhibit staunch friendship for you in your dream then all your current activities will be successes. If you see them as sad or unhappy you will receive news of an illness.
Break-Up
To dream that you break up with your significant other, indicates that there is something in your life that you need to let go no matter how hard it may be.
To dream that you did not break up with your boyfriend or girlfriend, suggests that you are still in denial about the break-up. Your mind many not have accepted the notion that the relationship is over.
i really hope this helps.
i dont think you have anything to worry about, but if it really bothers you, talk to your boyfriend and make sure everything is going good between you to.good luck.=D [ DiNOxTHUNDER's advice column | Ask DiNOxTHUNDER A Question ]
MelLeDisko answered Sunday October 15 2006, 1:20 pm: That's probably exactly what your dream means - you're worried about your boyfriend leaving you for someone else, or just losing him in general because you like him so much. Even if this were to come true ( which I hope not! ) I doubt your best friend would go after him, I mean she's your best friend! She'd never do that to you. And your boyfriend likes YOU, not her. So there's nothing to worry about! I hope I helped. [ MelLeDisko's advice column | Ask MelLeDisko A Question ]
queenhearts answered Sunday October 15 2006, 12:38 pm: Well you pretty much said it.
You're afraid of him leaving you but don't let that get you down.
Be happy! It didn't happen, it was only a bad dream.
Tan answered Sunday October 15 2006, 12:37 pm: Its perfectly natural to dream about things like this. Its your sub-conscience's way of playing out your doubts, fears etc. Im sure your best friend loves you a lot and wouldnt do anything to hurt you at all. And i think you know how much your boyfriend likes you. If you dont feel secure in the relationship, maybe you should talk about it with him? But if it's just been playing on your mind because of this dream, then i advise you to puch it aside, and get on with your life. Best of luck xxxx [ Tan's advice column | Ask Tan A Question ]
