ahh! no! dont brush your hair when its wet,but combing it isnt bad. (as long as you dont have a huge knot in your hair, then i dont think it'll be bad to comb it) and if you still have some conditioner in your hair, then combing it would be fine. or useing your fingers (i dont do this though) but really just roll it up in a towel and when its almost dry, comb it :] hope i helped!

Brushing your hair when it's wet can damage the hair. It rips the hair follicles and actually promotes split ends.

Use a wide tooth comb when it's damp to get out any tangles. Use conditioner on only the ends of your hair, and it should stay soft and healthy. Get a trim every few monthes to make sure all split ends are taken care of.

I don't know about split ends, but brushing your hair while it's wet is bad for it. Since your hair is weakest when it's wet, harsh brushing can pull out your hair or damage the shaft. It's always better to brush wet hair with a wide-tooth comb after thoroughly towel drying it. :)

hey, well this is constantly a controversey(sp?) with many people. it actually depends on your hair type. ask your hair dresser whats right for you and if you should do that.

no because when your hair is wet its the most fragile and its really delicate. I used to brush my hair in the shower with conditioner and then i heard from a beautician that it actually makes ur hair have split ends.

Brushing your hair can actually make your hair slit. Combing however, is apparently different. Combing it when wet will also make it easier to brush after it dries. If you want to talk good care of your hair, hot oil treatments are very good. Best of luck xxxx

well, from what my hairdresser has told me, do not use a brush in your hair when it is wet, use a pick. my hairdresser is constantly nagging on me because i use a brush.
