Well I don't exactly think someone should try to be "affectionate" with their crush. Save that for when you two are dating. ;) Your friends probably meant that you need to be more flirty. Just smile at him and ALWAYS listen to him, and be there for him when he needs ya! Maybe you can pick on him or something. [In a jokingly way]. You should tell him how ya feel.

When you go to the gym, is it best to do say---15 minutes on the treadmill, 15 on the bike, and 15 on the elipitical, or is better to do 45 minutes straight on one of them. And how often should you switch up your routine? Should you do the treadmill 3 days a week, the bike 4? Or just treadmill all through the week? Some info here please! (link)

Well, when I go to the gym, I do 25 minutes on the treadmill, or bike, whichever I'm in the mood for, then I go work on the machines.

Well, you can change your eating habits. If you cut out 250 calories everyday, you can lose a pound in one week. Also you can buy an exercise video, or just do it the old-fashioned way and exercise yourself.

Well if you decide to date this dude, you'll lose your best friend. If you don't date him, you'll miss out on being with someone you really like. It's really a hard decision and it's yours to make. This may seem like a random and completely dumb question to some, but I'm actually quite serious in asking this. My question is that why is it that young girls ages 12-14 and some even younger, feel that they NEED to have a boyfriend just to fit in? You girls don't understand, when your time comes to have a boyfriend, you'll find someone who will like you for you. Also, my other question is why do you feel the need to dress provocitavely, exposing your breasts, butt, and stomach just to look "sexy"? You don't need to be showing all of that to look sexy. I myself am 14 years old. But I don't think I NEED a boyfriend at all. I actually like being single. And it's not that you want to fit in, it's that you want someone to be there for you, someone you can cuddle with and stuff. And if I ever got a good boyfriend he would have to like me for me. :) Now, about dressing provocitavely...personally, I like to look good and feel good about myself. I like to look cute and sexy just because it makes me feel good about myself. And also there's just certain clothes that I like and that I will wear.

Make sure you rinse your hair really, really good after you wash and condition!! Also, no scratching your scalp! A good shampoo is Head & Shoulders, but your shampoo is probably just as good. You could also go see a dermotologist or a doctor and get a special prescription shampoo!

Well...you have to understand that people like that are very, very immature. They only put others down to raise themselves up. Just let them know that you don't give a fuck what they think and don't let them get to you! I promise that if you act like you don't care what people think they will respect you more. It's THEM with the problems, not you. Honestly, it's high school, tell them they need to grow up and get a life. If this still goes on I would go to a guidance counselor or something and let them know!

ok...i feel really bad. my ex bf and i broke up a little over a month ago.( we are still friends) I have a new bf, but he is still single. He told me he likes this girl named "sue". But "Sue" is really fat and ugly. and i told my ex bf that...and i also said that he could do way better than that..:/ ( ( i no ) ). Well it turns out that when i was talking to him about this one of "sue's" friends was right behind us and heard everything i said. well, of course she told "sue" what i had said. "Sue" started crying in class. ( it turns out "sue" likes him too.) and one of her friends named "Jan" heard the whole story. and right before the bell rang "jan" comes up to me and says why are you talking SH** about "sue" and i was like "sue"? and shes like "stop pretending you don't know what im talking about?! you little dumb a**! meet me outside of class after the next period." "Jan" has been known for getting in many fights...( and winning)...she gotton detention and suspended a couple of times. What do i do? I can't fight worth crap!!! This happened on thurs. (i don't have school friday or monday) Thurs. right after that class (luckily i had a dentist appoitment)i left. "Jan" didn't see me. but im worried something will happen to me on tues. between me n "Jan". Please help me! What do i do? I will rate!!!

The best thing to do would be to apologize to Sue and keep your mouth shut, because if your in high skool and you run your mouth a lot, it can and will get you in lots of trouble. About the fighting(which is so immature of Jan btw) you can go to a guidance counselor or skool authorities and tell them what is going on to prevent a fight.

I keep breaking out bad every other week. So I look different basically everyday. I don't know what's a good face cleaning product any ideas? It's really annoying because I have relationships where I don't see my boyfriend for a week because of school and I feel selfconscious because I think I look horrible because of my breaking out. Like when I get with him my face is really clear then the next time I see him I have pimples on my forehead that show and I hate that. What's good to use for a long period of time? OK, well I know that acne does suck. The deal is, none of the stuff you listed you have REALLY works. For minor acne get Clinique stuff! It works pretty well, especially the night cream stuff. But if you have like majorly bad acne, you could go to a dermotologist, it's expensive, but hay the stuff they give you, really works. And also, to prevent acne, get at least 8 hours of sleep every night and drink a lot of water.

my friend katie has a horrible reputation. she is 15 years old, and has been sleeping with MEN since she was 12. she has slept with over 10 people. last year, i had a boyfriend of 11 months. we broke up because my bf cheated on me with katie, and lied to me about it. i was mad at her forever, and i even got suspended because of her. i forgived her, and she promised me she'd never do it again... so she broke her promise. i'm going out with this guy.. we've been off and on for almost 6 months. katie has somewhat of an idea that me and him are together. my bf called her to apologize for a fight they got into a few weeks ago. she was like "ohh well im going to be home alone tonight if you want to hang out" and ryne (boyfriend) said okay and flashed back to me (i was on the other line). he said hes going to go along with it, and he called her back. she told him that she likes him and everything, and she doesn't want me to find out. ryne is going along with everything and he wants me to go along with him and stuff. us three are in the same algebra class and if i see her flirting with him, i will go crazy. what am i supposed to do? go along with it or go nuts ? i can't hold my feelings in very long.. and she has no idea i know anything..
