Me and my best freind are really close. Like I hug her whenever I see her in the hallways and stuff, and people keep joking about us being lesbians cuz we're always together and stuff. But like she sleeps over my house alot, and we sleep in the same bed, like hugging eachother kind of. Im not sure how to explain it. Most of them time we just lie there next to eachotehr talking. I like being close to her though. I dont know if this is weird or anything or means im a lesbian or somthing.

Me & my best friends are intimate as well. This is nothing to worry about. It's normal to feel good when you are close to some one that you love [notlikethat] a lot! People are just looking at something to poke at. As long as you know that you aren't a lesbian than you should ignore what people say.

Well, from personal experience, I know that as you get older you grow & change, & so do your friends. You might still be friends, but you all might change over the summer. We have to learn to let go of our old friends so we can make new friends. Try your best to keep in touch over the summer & that will make your chances of being friends in highschool higher.

Well, I live in ATL Georgia, and I'm not sure if you have these same places around your area, but I'll give it a shop
-Bruster's::Great Icecream shop where a lot of teens work.
-Life guarding:: as long as you can swim and handle the responsibility, life guarding is usually 15 & up. I was actually talking to a life guard today about it and he said he really liked it!
-Chick-Fil-A:: great chicken sandwich shop that gets a lot of custumers. It's usually 14 & up.
-Babysitting:: always a great career. lots of money and fun times with kids.
-Pet sitting:: same as babysitting lol.

Hi. I need help BAD. Well I got invited to my friends birthday party and I really want to go. Heres the catch, well me, my mom, my dad, and my moms friend are supposed to go down to the cape that weekend to help out with this bike-riding thing and the birthday party is from friday to saturday and we usuallu leave to go to the cape on friday evenings. I kept telling my mom that we could go down on saturday. She justwont listen and really really want to go to this party. What should I do?

I'm not worried about my weight but I'm just curious... I've been keeping track of my weight daily, and sometimes the scale gives back some weird numbers. Like, I've heard that it's unhealthy to lose more than 1 or 2 pounds a week, but I'll go to bed one night and wake up 4 pounds lighter. It's so strange. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Or is my scale messed up? Or am I just weird? Thanks ahead!

I heard from a doctor that you are lighter in the morning than when you are at night.
If you want a good idea of how much you weigh, get up, go to the bathroom, then step on the scale. You aren't weird and your scale isn't screwed up.

Okay. 14/F. I have really low self esteem. I can't stand the way I look. I just completely hate myself. I hate my looks, I hate my personality, I just hate everything about me! I've thought about cutting SO many times, and I was actually ready to one day, but my friend stopped me. Honestly, I feel like she's the only person who cares whether I do it or not. I guess my question is, What can I do to feel better about myself?

Hey, hun, I feel the same way, I HAVE actually cut myself before, and it felt good at the time but soo horrible afterwards.
You have to look at yourself in a new perspective. Everyone has beauty, not everyone sees it. I bet your beautiful, I bet you truley are. Pretty much every girl has trouble seeing herself beautiful. You just have to believe me on this one, God made you beautiful, and you are beautiful, inside & out.

If you aren't ready, even the LEAST bit, then don't do it. If you aren't ready for it then you will feel guilty, invaded, & gross about it for a while. Just simply tell him no. If he's a good boyfriend, he will be okay with it, and you guys can wait until you are ready. But, personally, I would wait until marriage.

My friends always tell me im pretty and that im the skinniest out of all of us whenever i say im fat or that im ugly or hate my hair and things like that and i dont know if they are doing this to make me feel better or not? what do you think?

People tell me that all the time and I think the same way you do.
I'm pretty sure they AREN'T just trying to make you feel better.
People always tell me, "Come on! Tricia, think better about yourself." But it never seems to help, does it?
It's part of a teenage girl thing. We will never be content with how we look or our bodies. It's a hard thing but its part of life.

My four year old nephew who is turning five has his birthday on the 8th of this month, (in two days)and i want to make him a present, because i havent gotten paid yet, so i really dont have money until next week, which kinda sucks, and i have a lot of craft things, a whole bunch in matter of fact.
So does anybody have any ideas?
I have feathers, colored paper, paint, foam board, colored pencils, stickers, beads, different colors of string, etc.

Make him some sort of colorful card.
You could have an animal on the front that you made with all your crafts. I know I would have enjoyed it when he was his age.
Then, you can go to a dollar store and get something a five year old would love. Anything! They can be preoccupied with anything & everything.

Hey hun, don't worry. The same thing is going on with me right now. Remember, your friend doesn't own the girl, so he can't have control on who you like. It may seem awkward between you and him, but you should keep liking this girl and don't let anyone stop you.

In my situation, I like a guy who likes me, and my best friend LOVES him but he doesn't like her.

What I say is just go with the flow, and don't let anything get in the way.

Okay, once I was looking at some questions, and I came across this girl who had this problem. Though after she was done explaining her problem she gave a list of ways that she would like the question to be answered. The most non secencial one was when she said, "For all you people who TlaK lyk DIs" Don't bother answering. That just pissed me off because if you REALLY need help, then you wouldn't care how people answered your question, as long as it gets answered in the first place. My question is: If people list ways to answer their question, then how are we suppose to answer it honestlly if we can't fully express our feelings due to their moranic limitations?

tAlKiNg LiKe ThIs bugs the shit outta me, personally. But, I know some people that CANT read it like that because they are dislexic. Some people just need certain things to read.
Other times its just a mental thing. They can't STAND to read it like that.

you go to "Profile Settings" and look for the spaces for "URL of a picture of you" or "Upload a picture of you"

URL of a picture means that you load a picture of you off your PC to photobucket.com and use the link to the picture

Upload means you just load it off your computer

I'm 14/F. ok, I'm going to a graduation party this weekend and we will most likly end up playing spin the bottle or truth or dare, or some other type of kissing game. A guy I like might be at the party and if me and him are supposed to make-out, is it a turn-on to him if I'm like "ok, let's go for it!". (or basically not turning the kiss down.)

Well make it seem like you are sort of dreading it, so you don't look exciting or eager to kiss him. Thats a turn-off when you are eager. Just be cool, calm, and relaxed.

Okay. So there is this guy. I was always attracted to him, and at times I really liked him, but it was just there, never acted on it or anything. Well he was a little wasted and he told me that he has feelings for me and that he likes me. How do I know if he was just saying that or he really meant it. When guys tell you that they like you and have feelings for you, are they telling the truth?? Now that I think he likes me, I am beginning to like him also. A lot. So if a guy tells you that he likes you should I take it seriously. The biggest problem is that he is in college and i am only a sophmore. So guys do you really mean it when you tell girls that you have feelings for them?

Well, when a guy is sober -- trust him.
If he is wasted -- ask questions.

Talk to him and ask something along the lines of "Hey, umm, you were wasted last night and you said somethings. Is it true that...etc."

i live in a low income apartment..all of my friends live in big houses. i hate living in a crapy apartment in a rich neighborhood. especially my crush! we talk a lot (hes an only child). and i always hear about his escalades and BMWs and i HATE IT! because i have a crapy car and i wish i wasnt ashamed of were i come from. i used to live in a crappy neighborhood but that was okay because i was the rich one of the poor people (even though then we were poor) now i have to transition to being on of the poor people. again. and i HATE IT! what can i do to change this feeling?

Well, I'm in the same rut. I go to a private school which I got a scholarship to, so I didn't have to pay. It's $6000 a year, which means everyone else there is pretty wealthy. Their houses are big with pools in the back and they always get whatever they want. I, on the other hand, am a bit on the poor side. I live in a house with my mom, it's okay. I haven't gotten a new outfit in 2 months and I have to wear the same clothes over and over again.

I'm an only child, but that doesn't mean I'm spoiled. That's a big stereo type.

Just thank God for what you have. Seriously, just go to google images and type "STARVING KIDS IN AFRICA!". We have a lot more than other people and we should help out as best we can. Don't be ashamed, be happy that you have somewhere to live and that you aren't on the street.

Hun, that is perfectly normal. But, you could approach this situation in two ways.

1. You could tell her. You know her better than I do, so say it in a way you know she'd like it.

2. Just do it! Go ahead hold her hand, then kiss her, then make out... & so on until you are ready for anything else. I like it when my boyfriend goes slow with things, so I don't feel rushed.
