Guys..

Question Posted Thursday June 1 2006, 3:41 pm

Okay. So there is this guy. I was always attracted to him, and at times I really liked him, but it was just there, never acted on it or anything. Well he was a little wasted and he told me that he has feelings for me and that he likes me. How do I know if he was just saying that or he really meant it. When guys tell you that they like you and have feelings for you, are they telling the truth?? Now that I think he likes me, I am beginning to like him also. A lot. So if a guy tells you that he likes you should I take it seriously. The biggest problem is that he is in college and i am only a sophmore. So guys do you really mean it when you tell girls that you have feelings for them?

ok well i AM a guy (and have been drunk before), so i can deffinatly answer this one for you. first of all, guys do say some wierd things whne they are drunk, and they can be one of two things: either the purest truth in the world or the biggest lie ever, you just have to determine how each guy acts while they are "impared". since you have a crush on this guy, chances are he can tell, and in turn, has developed a cruch on you. guys are not ones to admit crushes under normal circumstances, so getting drunk mat have been the key that unlocked the truth. honestly, the best thing you can do is talk to him about it, and get the sober truth. since he has already admitted to liking you, he shouldnt have any problem telling you again. good luck!

I'm not a guy, but this still might help you. When a guy is sober, you should trust him. When he's drunk...well, that's another story. Call him up and tell him he said some stuff while he was wasted that night and you would like to get the story straight. Hope this helps.

Well, when a guy is sober -- trust him.
If he is wasted -- ask questions.

Talk to him and ask something along the lines of "Hey, umm, you were wasted last night and you said somethings. Is it true that...etc."

alright i'm not a guy but i know how to answer this. If the guy said that when he was waisted i would test it out. Flirt with him & that kinda stuff and see what he does back. If he kinda just stands there like a normal guy then he wasn't serious. And it depends on the type of guy that is saying that havign feelings for you. Most guys that are the sweet funny kinda type would mean it but others that have had a million girlfriends and can never seem to keep them wouldn't mean it. If a guy like that said they had feelings for you then i wouldn't believe it. So eally depending on the type of guy he is you would have to determine if he's a trustworthy guy or just a phony.
