i just met this kid last week, he's cute, funny, nice etc. he was the one who called me to hang out 1st but i always feel like when we talk i am getting mixed signals, like he seems to like me but then he just signs of line or puts on an away message without saying bye & the convorsation just ends. we hung out twice last week wehn we 1st met (he asked me both times) i want to hang out again but is it too soon to ask him? i don't want to seem like a loser or to clingy. is it bad for me too call him? can anyone tell me what to do? & why doesn't he say good bye online?
Additional info, added Friday June 2 2006, 7:19 pm: i just texted him & asked if he wanted to hang out this weekend & he texted me back & said "it depends when because i'm busy tonight & tommorow"
that's all he said...does he not like me?! i am pretty sure i heard him say to his friend today he had nothing going on, but i don't know?. Well, a LOT of my friends do that. I even do that a lot. Its just quicker and easier.
Guys call me and ask me to hang out alot. Mostly my best friend's BOYFRIEND. But we don't like each other. So, he might just be friendly. Personally, I think it's much easie to talk on AIM, but you can call him if you like [ HardxcorePunkLover's advice column | Ask HardxcorePunkLover A Question ]
MollyandLindsay answered Saturday June 3 2006, 12:05 am: ok well if he has asked u to hang out two times than it should be ok for you to hang out with him but you should take things slow bc mabe he doesnt want the same type of relationship that u want so over time things may grow into somthing more
Irishdude405 answered Friday June 2 2006, 9:54 pm: Hey..i have been going through the same exact thing..and the best thing to do is just to wait for them..if they like you enough then he'll get back to you and if they don't...then he isnt worth your time [ Irishdude405's advice column | Ask Irishdude405 A Question ]
Chelsey13 answered Friday June 2 2006, 7:30 pm: Okay well you should really talk to him abou this. You obviously like the kid, and i know from experience that you feel soo much better when you talk about things then when you just keep it all inside... especially if your getting mixed signals.
After you talk to him about it, see what his response is.. and then ask him if he wants to keep on hanging out with you, because if he does it might lead you to a relationship with him that hopefully you's both would want. Dont push things too far with this kid. Make sure you know what both of you's want before doing anything.
& its not bad for you to call, jus dont do it 24/7. If he doesnt pick up, so be it. He'll call you back if he wants to talk. As far as saying goodbye online, you should have some of your friends talk to him, but not about you because most guys hate when other people get into their business and it gets annoying... but anyway, see if he says bye to them.. its not that big of a deal but try it anyway
