I have no idea how to apply makeup, like foundation and powder or whatever...I'm 16 and I feel like its time to learn. I can do my eyes, but my face there just seems like so many steps and it confuses me! Can anyone explain for me how you do it and what you need and such on so forth?
1. Begin with clean hands and a clean face.
2. Apply moisturizer appropriate to your skin type. Let it set a few minutes, particularly if your skin is oily.
3. Camouflage under-eye circles and blemishes with concealer.
4. Select a foundation that is appropriate to your skin type and the coverage you wish to achieve. The color should match your skin, disappearing when blended well.
5. Shake the bottle well to mix the formula. Or, simply open a stick or compact version.
6. Place a small amount of foundation on the back of one hand. Dip your makeup sponge or your middle finger into it.
7. Apply to the center of your face: cheeks, forehead, chin.
8. Blend out to your hair and jawline until the foundation vanishes. Pay special attention to blending around the nose, mouth and jawline.
9. Set the foundation with loose powder immediately following application.

Ok soo today i went out and I bought a conair straightner...wid 2 crimpers and a star (changable plates). Anyway my hair is semi- straight..it's like straight but is still wavy. Does anyone have this type of hair and straighten it? See my hair's long and I have too go to this event this weekend comin and i don't want to waste my time and have it loook bad!!!

My hairs is straight -not stick stright, but it sounds like yours, it has a little bit if a wave to it. Striaghtening it should smooth it out and it'll probably look more shiny than before. It won't look BAD, it'll look straighter, but if you're short on time, then I wouldn't bother, it doesn't make a HUGE difference.

I know you're supposed to drink 64 oz. of water a day. Does that help you lose weight? If I drink more than 64 oz. of water will it make me lose more weight?
Technically, yes. If you drink an 8 oz. glass of water before each meal, it'll fill you up and you'll eat less.

Try exfoliating, it'll scrub off the top later of skin and MAY help fade the tan a bit. Just use any body scrub or a washcloth or loofah.
oh, and a tannning oil that I've always used is Panama Jack.

well like its winter but i heard that swimming is a good way to tone up your whole body well if i like lay on a little tabel like with my stomach and so like a swimming motion would it be like im swimming and would i get the same results.
Unfortuantely, no :[. When you swim, the water works as resistance against your body as it moves [even though it doesn't feel like it], so the results wouldn't be the same

Is it possible to extract the perfume from a perfume ad or something? I tried rubbing one on my neck and it smelled good for a while. I have a small collection now, from magazines, and could just use these for free instead of buying the real thing!
Go to the perfume counter, and usually if you ask, the salespeople have sample-sized bottles of the perfume. Like the person below me said, you can also buy smaller bottles for less money, but they'er harder to find.
In short though, apart from rubbing the perfume on your arm after you open the ad in the magazine, there's no way to extract it, sorry :[

Haha it's one of the strangest movies you'll ever see. Then again, I havn't seen many cult movies that I didn't think were a bit off.
A boy [Donnie Darko] has visions of a giant bunny named Frank who tells Donnie the world's ending. Hold the pause button down until the screen goes blank. Yes, you can pause it and within a few minutes your iPod will turn off. Sure, it wastes a tiny bit of battery, but nothing huge.

Why do they ask you if your pregnant when you get x rays? What happens if you are pregnant and you get x rays done?
X-rays are hazerdous to a woman's unborn child, it has something to do with the EM Spectrum, but I don't know the direct answer.
In short, if you were pregnant and got an x-ray, there would be a risk that your child could have a birth defect.

I'm confused why people come here seeking advice and then when they don't like the advice they send horrible feedback.
Just because you don't like an answer doesn't mean it's wrong or bad. Don't people ask for advice to get all the angles and then make an informed choice?

Feedback is always an iffy thing for me. I mean, yes, it's wonderful that we are able to see where we need to improve and what method of advice a majority of our advice-seekers look for, but some people just leave garbage comments.
To be honest, usually on those types of comments I edit my answer with either an explanation of my answer or a request for them to i.m. me or ask me directly. Sometimes it's just miscommunication or a misreading of the answer.
Other times people are jsut jerks. The best thing you can do is ignore their advice and know that you gave it your best.
