I'm sorry to be the one to tell you but you can't get rid of acne scars. Believe me, I would know. Although there are treatments that can help them. Try using cocoa butter, or go to a dermatologist and ask them what would be good for you. Also over the counter drug like Proactive can help. If you feel very insecure about them, which I do about mine (mind you I have a lot of scars),try using some oil-free make-up to help cover them up. Make-up can actually help too. Usually scars will fade as you get older. It usually takes about six months after the pimple goes away, for the scar to go away. Hopefully I came of some help.

It's probably dry skin more than it is acne. See a dermatologist (skin doctor). They should be able to tell you what the problem is and give you something really good to help fix it. Pretty much all you'll have to do is answer questions. There's little to no poking and prodding so no worries about that. Good luck!

ForfeitYourDream answered Monday April 17 2006, 4:10 pm:
A process called Microdermabrasion uses crystals to exfoliate the upper later of skin, smoothing it out and making scars less visible.

You can get it done by a dermotologist or they make kits at the drugstore that allow you to do it yourself at home.
