Everytime I ask a question i get about 3 answeres and then at the bottom of the question this gets put:
Note:This question was deleted and will not be shown on general search pages.
If there is a reason entered by the moderator it will appear here:
This question was given the lowest rating by at least five level I moderators.

Questions that are outside the acceptable use guidelines are automatically deleted by level II moderators before they ever see the light of day, but lots of other questions get deleted as well after a period of time. Level I moderators are given the freedom to rate questions, and if five of them give you the lowest rating, your question gets taken off the site.
We let level I mods rate based on anything they feel like... they might rate you down because it's whiny, or because it's phrased weird, or because they don't like you. The most common reason for a low-rating is that we've seen the question a million times before or it deals with issues we've heard about a million times before. You can browse categories or use the question search pages to find advice given to people who asked similar questions.
Your question also might be too long and complicated (are you giving us paragraphs of detail that don't even matter before getting to the point of your question?) or it might be too short and impersonal (is your question so broad and void of details that we can't picture the situation?).
We know it's not nice to delete questions, but we get hundreds of these things a day and our columnists go insane if they get stuff that's really not answerable.
ForfeitYourDream answered Monday April 17 2006, 4:08 pm: The moderators here review questions and delete ones they feel are:
a.) inappropriate
b.) dangerous to the advice seeker
c.) has been asked dgfvjhreiugb times
Most likely your question has been asked before. Feel free to try asking individual columns instead though, the moderators don't delete those, and I'm sure someone would be happy to help. [ ForfeitYourDream's advice column | Ask ForfeitYourDream A Question ]
jammy12 answered Monday April 17 2006, 3:34 pm: There's something called moderators. There are 3 levels right and they are allowed to rate questions. If 5 mods give you a :( (sad smily face) or a :| (plain face) you're question can be rated.
This kinda means you have to have a pretty good question and state it in a good way.
DancinCutie08 answered Monday April 17 2006, 3:18 pm: all level mods have the opternunity to rate questions either 1 2 or 3 after answering a question (or before) if you get 5 1s the question gets deleted.. 1 is the worst you can get and 3 is the best [ DancinCutie08's advice column | Ask DancinCutie08 A Question ]
lxYiPPi answered Monday April 17 2006, 3:15 pm: i think they do that because you put something in the question that is bad or they just think its a stupid question.. or mabe its just to specific or has something to do with where you live or something personal.. i dont know they did it to me too.. =/
