Ok soo today i went out and I bought a conair straightner...wid 2 crimpers and a star (changable plates). Anyway my hair is semi- straight..it's like straight but is still wavy. Does anyone have this type of hair and straighten it? See my hair's long and I have too go to this event this weekend comin and i don't want to waste my time and have it loook bad!!!

Striaghtening it should smooth it out and it'll probably look more shiny than before. It won't look BAD, it'll look straighter, but if you're short on time, then I wouldn't bother, it doesn't make a HUGE difference.
