Should I?

Ok soo today i went out and I bought a conair straightner...wid 2 crimpers and a star (changable plates). Anyway my hair is semi- straight..it's like straight but is still wavy. Does anyone have this type of hair and straighten it? See my hair's long and I have too go to this event this weekend comin and i don't want to waste my time and have it loook bad!!!

I have a hair straitener too only i have a brush of curly hair!!!and its thicker then thick!!!im 13 so my mother does it and when she doenst it its straight and poofy i asked my cusin why this is happening and she said that get a squirt bottle like the thing that gtes out of windex.and if your hair isnt moist squirt it.then go slower with the straitener,but not to long cause its will make ur hair crisp.

I have the same hair type and length as you and I promise it will look great. If you're not too sure about it why don't you try it out like a day before the event and see how it goes.

My hairs is straight -not stick stright, but it sounds like yours, it has a little bit if a wave to it. Striaghtening it should smooth it out and it'll probably look more shiny than before. It won't look BAD, it'll look straighter, but if you're short on time, then I wouldn't bother, it doesn't make a HUGE difference.

i have a huge-ass long answer to a similar question on my column. but for the shorter, less-in-depth answer, are the conair straightener plates metal or ceramic? ceramic plates are the best. go see the one answer on my column for links to websites for some good products and such.
