My friends eighteen year old daughter had her nose pierced last year and it looks really nice. When I asked her about the pain factor she told me that it did not really hurt but felt a bit uncomfortable briefly. She healed very quickly. Make sure that you choose a reputable person and heed all the advice about cleansing the area. The procedure can be discussed in depth with the person doing the piercing and you do not have to go through with it if you bottle out at the last minute. Basically all that happens is the area around the pierce sight is sterilised, the needle used should come out of a sterilised packet and so should the stud. Good luck.

Not bad at all. But i'm getting kinda annoyed by how many girls have it. I was happy when i got my nose pierced..but i dont know about it now. I see more and more girls walking around with crooked piercing jobs on their noses and nose rings the size of a rock. Well the procedure normally goes like:
1) Piercing shop. signing blah blah..
2) You'll get your nostril cleaned with a little wipe, and make sure you clean out your nose, becuase sometimes they...will 'pick' your nose, haha.
3) you can, or the piercer will, pick the placement of where the stud is going to be.
4) He gets the needle, you breathe in, wen youre ready to breathe out, he pierces it. the pain is very little.
5) he slides the jewelry in, and there you go!

hel probably tell you and/or give you an instruction sheet on piercing care.

any other piercing related questions-ask me. piercings=<3<3<3<3

hope i help!

okay i don't know the whole procedures because i did it on my own ....but it didn't hurt i didn't think i didn't cry or anything...

p.s. how ever....i had mine for about 6months and i was so tired of it, it is just not the same when you have it you don't think it is all cool anymore...so you decide...so i took mine out and let it grow shut...so you decide...
