Thinking about suicide? Think about this
You've decided to do it. Life is impossible. Suicide is your way out.
Fine--but before you kill yourself consider these facts:
Suicide is not usually successful.
You think you know a guaranteed way?
Ask the 25-year-old who tried to electrocute himself. He lived. But, both his arms are gone.
What about jumping?
Ask John. He used to be intelligent , with an engaging sense of humor. That was before he leapt from a building. Now, he's brain- damaged and will always need care. He staggers and has seizures. He lives in a fog. But, worst of all, he KNOWS he used to be normal.
What about pills?
Ask the 12-year-old with extensive liver damage from an overdose. Have you ever seen anyone die of liver damage? You turn yellow. It's a hard way to go.
What about a gun?
Ask the 24-year-old who shot himself in the head. Now he drags one leg, has a useless arm and has no vision or hearing on one side. He lived through his "foolproof" suicide.
You might too.
But...
Who will clean your blood off the carpet or scrape your brains from the ceiling? Commercial cleaning companies may refuse that job- -but SOMEONE has to do it. Who will have to cut you down from where you hung yourself or identify your bloated body after you've drowned?
Your father?
Your mother?
Your wife?
Your son?
The carefully worded "loving" suicide note is of no help. Those who loved you will NEVER completely recover. They'll feel regret and an unending pain.
Suicide is contagious. Look around your family. Look closely at the 4 year old playing with his cars on the rug. Kill yourself tonight, and he may do it ten years from now.
You DO have other choices. There are people who can help you through this crisis. Call a hotline. Call a friend.
Call your minister or priest. Call a doctor or hospital.
Call the police.
They will tell you that there's hope. Maybe you'll find it in the mail tomorrow. Or in a phone call this weekend. But what you're seeking could be just a minute, a month, or a day away.
You say you don't want to be stopped? Still want to do it?
Well, then, I may see you in the psychiatric ward later.
And we'll work with whatever you have left.

Um I would suggest no where. Even though I dont know you it would mean allot to me if you didnt cut yourself. You can get really sick or may even die. If you just started it would be easy for you to stop. So please stop!:(

Well you dont really need to wear one at night but ig you do go for the sports bra or a cammie because they are confortable and if you want to be confortable wear a cammie but if they hurt you are not wearing a good bra..

No its doesnt matter that Gay thing doesnt even matter now they only did that left side gay thing in the middel 90's I got mine done too and if your scared it hurts it doesnt its just like a pench lol

What are the administators going to do about the bad adivce people? I mean peopel like... The Cardboard Samurai or the Russian Mailman person? these people obviously aren't even trying and feel many people feel even worse. They may think its funny but their advice can lead to peopel doing stupid things. Any one else worried? Are they going to be banned? There seems to be more of them everyday. (link)

I agree with you I mean I got some advice from them and they really hurt me they can get soem one hurt or something if they give bad advice I wish they would ban them becuz they get on my nervs and then people rate them 5's becuz they gave funny advice

my friend and i are gonna dye our hair with that non permanent stuff just for fun. OUr problem is we dont knwo what to do about our eyebrows. IS their any kind of non permanent dye for your eyebrows? or what do you suggest? (link)

YOu can use the same dye you use for your hair too but read the instruction thing on the back of the box soem can be harmful for your eyebrows

okay i have a guy friend...hes nice and sweet but not liked very much at school...tonight he threatened to kill himself. im really scared b/c im not around him much at school and never after school...i care about him alot but sometimes dont show it very well. Should i bring our IM conversation to the councelor tomorow or something else...talking to him doesnt help...he doesnt listen.

You should really show that you care for him talk to him allot and if he keeps say stuff like that or shows that he might kill himself I would tell some one like a councelor at school or some thing

Ok.... I went to my best friends b-day party and my g/f was there and we were watching a movie and we started making out for like 15 seconds. Now i can't wait to see her again because i really feel different becasue we made out. Is this normal?

Just tell her your proud if she knows it is bothering you she will feel bad and drop out of the play and ater the play she will stop bragging shes just so excited she probably doesnt relize she is doing it..

If I were going to get a cat or dog, I'd go to an animal shelter or pound or something else like that. But I'm not getting a cat or dog I want to get a guinea pig. Does anyone know of a place where I could get one that NEEDS a home (other than an ordinary pet store?)

YOu can loose about 24 lbs in a week if you eat nothing with sugar or carbs in it like salad and peanuts for snack..

okay well i moved to Arizona a month ago, and I was 130 pounds when i moved here, I got depressed and sick and I lost enough weight to get down to 115 in just 3 months...just a week ago I was 113, and now im 105..I eat like a PIG and i dont excersize at ALL...is there something wrong with me? Is this normal??

Its jsut your geting older people can loose 20-40 lbs in 6 months jsut because they're ageing its normal but if it keeps on going a you turn out to be 80 lbs then you need to go to the docter

My best friend always copies my looks! Like if i tell her ive found a certain store that i like to go to, she'll just one day start shopping there and tell all our other friends she found it first! And its not just like materials..she said that she liked matt -our crush- way before i did. But when i told her i liked him last year she said oh i think hes kind of ugly. I HATE MY MOMS BOYFRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every one thinks hes soooooooooo nice but theres just something about him i dont like hes hespanic but my boyfriend is hespanic so im not against hespanics and he was my moms teenage love. I just dont get it i hate him and i told my mom but shes like o shut up u never do anything for me. And that really hurt me. Im crying every night and i cant live with my dad cuz he is always traveling and i feel like dieing. She doesnt get it and my mom was always nice to me but now since she has been dating this guy. She is totally agaisnt me. Its not fair. He claims to "care" for me and my brother but i dont think its true. WEll I think you should have a long talk with her and if you hate him that much tell your mom if she really cares about you that she should brake up with him my parents are still together but allot of my friends parents arent and all of them said that every single person that there mom or dad went out with they hate them and I can understand maybe that it its not them same like your dad. if she really cares she will trust you

I have a problem with my clothes. I don't mind the way I dress or anything...I just feel I need to change something..add more style to me. I usually wear jeans, skateboarding shoes, hoodies and fitted tees/layeredtees, what can I ADD to this to make my clothes more......exciting? Well the way you described your self is kind of the way I dress just add some cool jelery not nice just cool lol maybe paint you nails dark colors like purple or blue or green.

WEll white blonde will look so good if you have a great body and I think that a tan body like you said will look good with sandy brown hair with blonde high lights but they way you descriped yourself I think white Blonde will be good for you

2. I want my braces to not stand out so much (right now I have hot pink rubberbands) and I was thinking about getting either clear or white rubberbands. But I heard that the white rubberbands make your teeth look yellow. And I heard that the clear rubberbands turn the color of whatever food you eat. Is this true?? It is true about the white but I never heard about the clear but blue green and black make your teeth look really white and really bright but light colors look good too
