I got Linseed Oil on one of my favorite shirts. The shirt is 95% cotton, 5% spandex. How can I get it out? Are there any stain removers that would help?

This should do the trick:: Sprinkle some cornstarch or baking soda on the stain, then place the garment, stain side down, on a large rag on top of an ironing board. Iron with a hot iron on the wrong side of the stain -- the oil stain will most likely come out. [It'll work because the oil needs heat to dissolve.]

Me and my friend both have questions:

My question: I just started going out with this guy that I have been with on and off before. We haven't seen each other all summer so we talk on the phone alot. Anyways, I don't know what to talk to him about! We both end up asking the other person what they wanna talk about and saying I don't know. Or we end up talking about "us" or something. Any ideas? I don't wanna seem boring.

My friends question: My dad is racist, and the problem is I like a guy who is partially black. When we're talking on the phone my dad always interrupts me and asks why we are talking. It's really getting on my nerves and I don't think my dad can get over this. What should I do?

Well, for your question:
Whenever me and my boy---friends talk on the phone, and we're not really talking, we just make something stupid up like "Maybe we should get on google & see if there's any suggestions for starting a conversation." Then we pretty much do it, and just talk about the stupid websites that we get to. Haha. It's dumb I know, but it does keep the conversation going. lol
You can always talk about food, music, & girls! =) You can always find out who he's interested in & stuff.
For your friend:
My dad's partially racist, too. It's not that he is actually racist, like he can deal with being around different ethnicitys, but. He'll make comments, if he sees a black, chinese, or pakistan person. He'll just call them rude names in front of me, and my mom gets pissed because it's just so horrible that he seperates everyone in diverse ways. Pretty much, I think that you should continue talking to this kid, because you really like him. I think your dads just being immature about it, have them meet & make sure your dad doesn't make rude assumptions about him, and if he does tell your friend not to talk any attention about it, because your dad is like that to everyone. Maybe when your dad & friend meet he'll realize of what a nice kid he is to you. Your dad should be happy if he's making you happy, and if it's really that big of an issue because you guys are different colors, then he obviously has something wrong with him. I'm extremely sorry if you take offense to that, but I really don't like racist people AT ALL, & for you dad to judge someone whose obviously making his daughter happy & that he hasn't even met, is wrong. Talk to him about it, too - that might help. Good luck for the both of you!

I don't think Arrid Extra Dry, works great at all. It just didn't work for me. I think you should just stick to Certain Dri because it's so much better.

My mom doesn't want me to have suade sneakers. She thinks they'll get ruined in the rain. Do they? If they do does they water proofing spray really work? Is there anyway I can convince my mom to let me get them? Thank you.

I had a pair of ADIDAS suade shoes, and I have to tell you, they are crappy. At first they were totally cute, and I really liked them, but when it rained and they got dirty, they got really black, and there's not you can really use to get rid of the dirt, even putting them in the washer. If I were you I would choose a different shoe, just because suade IS crappy.

hes moving tomrw to nebraska and i live in new york. i dont know what to do because were not technically together we just hooked up a lot but never dated since he was moving. i cant stop crying and i dont want him to leave. he told me he wasnt gunna get a girlfriend cuz theres nobody hed rather be with then me. and this makes me feel horrible because im pretty and i could get a boyfriend easily and dont like being alone. I just moved from Pennsylvania to Texas, two weeks ago. I know exactly what your going through because I had to leave my best friend; Charles, of whom I was so close to dating behind. I miss him tons, and I told him I would wait for him, because, I believe I will & I think I can. But, I'm only 15 and I'm going to have a lot more relationships that I'm going to have to concker throughout my life. I know I promised him I would wait, but I don't know that, I mean I don't know what guys are like in Texas, I'm just so used to the stupid fags up in Pennsylvania. It's best if you & your boyfriend take a break, only because it's probably just what's best out of the situation, and do it before anything gets too serious. ok, I'm caught between 3 girls I really like all 3... but I don't know who to choose or what to do, so please help (I'm just using there 1st inishal)

A (14/F)- a really good friend of mine, shes very sweet & she really likes me, but she lives pretty far away & her & I always have diffrent scheduals, shes liked me for a while, & shes sort of weird at times, but I stayed up untill 4 A.M. talking to her 1 night... so I really like to talk to her...

S (14/F)- my ex., shes really pretty & really sweet, but her & I broke up after her dad died cos she sort of went crazy for a while, & I hadn't exactly been a good boyfriend cos I had alot going on in my life at the moment... & so I understood, but I like her alot, & I think she might like me to cos I heard from her best friend (S & A are best friends, but they both a another best friend Steph. so there just all 3 best friends) that she & A were arguing over who would go out with me (afew days ago, me & S broke up afew months ago) & S was on the phone & kept saying "shut up!" & so yeah... but she lives far away too, & shes bi, but it really dosen't bother me that much

B (13/F)- ok... this is where it gets weird... shes a friend of mine's cosin, but they live in Florida (I live in Texas) & I just started talking to her afew days ago & she said she really liked me & felt like she could talk to me about anything & that she just about loved me, & said she wish I was there with her, & then she asked them if she could come to Texas next month with them & they said yes, so I'll be meeting her next month (they might even stay at my house cos thats what they did last time they were here), & I really like her, but she lives SO far away, & my friend sort of seemed protective of her the other day, cos he was saying "yeah, I love 'her name'" & so it just sort of made me think... maby I should back off... but I don't know

& I just don't know what to do or who to choose or what ever...

Well the person below me did a great job at advising you, so I don't know how I'm going to top that! But, I'm just going to give you my perspective.

A: I think it seems cool that you like talking to her just because you two can be open about things, and it just goes to show that she likes you well enough to stay up until 4am talking to you.

S: I think it's cool how she's bisexual and it doesn't bother you, so I give you props for that, because, most guys can't handle that much on their plate. It also seems as if she didn't start the whole fight with A, and she just wanted everything to be over with, and tried to be friends with A again.

B: With her I think it's weird, because you've never actually MET her. But, if your going to, I think you should wait just to see what she's like in person, and see if she's what you bargained for. It also really depends, if you knew B, before, your friend even talked to her then it doesn't matter, you shouldn't back off because you talked to her first. But, if he talked to her first then he's the one that needs to back off. I don't think there's anything wrong with you living in TX and her living in FL either.

Personally, if I had to choose between the three of them, I would pick either A or B.
A; just because you feel open with her, and it seems you two could talk about anything, and I love couples who stay up forever just to talk to each other, I think it's adorable.
&&
B; just because you say you like her a lot & maybe after you meet her you'll like her even more.
You should definitely see how things work out with B coming to visit you, because you could fall in love with her, and you might even like her more then A.

Well real ones, would cost around $250 dollars. The person below me basically explains it all, if you live in a big city, then you'll have a Chanel store of which will sell them, but it might be even more expensive then $250. You can also try going to EBAY, because they might sell it to you for cheaper, but make sure that they're a good seller, otherwise they'll send you a phoney pair. =)

Well, I totally agree with you. I think it's just that girls tend to spend more money on themselves then guys would, and they just seem to push out anyone who can't keep up with their standards. Guys can wear, Walmart or something like that, but when a girl does; automatically she'd be known in the lower class rather then what a guy would if he were to wear Walmart, because it's not that big of a deal.

what is the best product to use on acne?

People will say Proactiv, which I recommend because it does get rid of acne, but it makes your skin really really dry, and can cause it to be peely, and it's gross, because if you have no acne, then you want to be able to look pretty, and it's even worse with peely skin.
But, I haven't tried this face wash before, but it looks really good & my friend has and it's called; "Clearasil Ultra, face wash" && for a moisturizer, which you'll definitely need because just using the face wash can just dry your face, an over amountage, try:: "Dual Action Moisturizer by Clean & Clear" It's amazing. Drinking any type of hot drink, water, & orange juice will help. && eating green vegetables. The biggest key to keeping away the flu bug is keeping up your vitamin and nutrient intake. I'm thirteen and I want my navel pierced. My Grandparents [who were really strict with my Mom and her sister], are even okay with it. Both of my parents say that I'm too young. But my Dad doesn't live with me, so my Mom can still say yes. I asked her why she wouldn't let me get it done and she said 1] that she thinks if I got that done I would want my nipples done or something crazy like that. 2] she thinks I would walk around with belly shirts or something. I told her I'm not a whore like that and that I wouldn't do either of those. And my question to you is do you think I'm too young? And what do you think I should do to convince my Mom?

Well, no; I personally don't think you're TOO young to get your navel pierced! A lot of my friends have their navels pierced & they got it done at a very young age, [like 11 or 12.]

Pretty much I think you should act very responsible towards your mother, and a lot of people are going to give you advice like I am, because it's just basically something you HAVE to do. If you earn the money to get it done yourself, and you offer to pay for it, then she'll know that you really want it, and you're serious about caring for it, and stuff. Help her a lot around the house, like cleaning & just pretty much baby her around for the next couple weeks or so. Do everything she tells you to do, and make sure you help her A LOT. She'll see from this that you ARE responsible & mature enough to handle getting it done.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to look some information up on the internet, about navel piercings, for example: taking care of the navel piercing, and looking up people to do the piercing for you! That'll take a lot of weight off of your mom's back, and it'll make it seem like you don't have to look to her for help or anything like that!
