hey!! i have a chance to try out for my high school musical (i'm in 8th). It requires singing and dancing, so i definitely have a chance with the dancing part. but with the singing, i'm not bad but there are a couple of better people. does any one have any tips on what i can do... like projection, that sort of thing. thanks!
Ask your musical teacher what songs are in it and if you find one that you like, sing a part from it! That will impress the judges or how ever is picking the people who are trying out! Also, I heard if you open your mouth more while you're singing, you'll sing louder? I don't know, I have never been in a musical before! Just practice and try your best when the try outs come! Talk to your friend! Ask her if it's alright if you went out with this guy! If she only likes him a little bit, she will get mad or sad at first but she will eventually get over it! You have to know that friends come before guys so make sure you make the right choice and not let this effect your friendship with your friend! okay theres this guy that likes me.. and i used to like him. I sit with him evryday at lunch. Hes so controlling. I cant stand it anymore. All my friends say i should ask him out or he should ask me but i cant stand him anymore.!! Seriously. He really bugs me!! i turn my cell phone off just so i dont have to talk to him at night. The only thing you can do is to tell him how you feel when you are talking to him in person! Just tell him that you need some space and he needs to leave you alone! You can also say "If you want to be friends with me then you can't annoy and control me all the time! Just back off a little"! Even though what I said is harsh but once you tell him, you will feel so much better and he will leave you alone once he gets the idea! Hope I helped :)

ok i been smokin for like 1 year but i jus started needing a ciggarette like every day and shit and im addicted and i have no way to get my ciggarettes in my house i mean i leave my purse downstairs and if i dont that would b suspicious and i mean i can like put them under my shirt and get them inm y house but i duno where to hide them at where my mom wont look and they wont get crushed... any ideas? I smoke too and I keep a few ciggarettes in a pair of socks in my drawer or in my backpack! If you have a sweatshirt that has those big pouches, you can put them in there and then bring them in your room! If you have a box that needs a key to open it, put them in there! You could also put them under your mattress or in an old purse of yours! Just think of places that your mom wouldn't look in! Hope I helped :)

Hey don't worry, guys mess up too when they play sports! Have confidence when you shoot! Pretend that they aren't even there even though they are! You could always just practice shooting in front of your friends so you can get used to people watching you! Always believe that even if you miss a shot, your guy friends won't laugh at you! You could get him a video game that has to do with BMXing or skateboarding if he's into video games! Maybe you can get him BMX or skateboarding magazines? What I would do is come up with a schedule of some sort! When you get home from school, do your homework, then talk to your friends on the phone, and then spend some time with your boyfriend! In my opinion, friends are more important than boyfriends so make sure you divide your time equally! Since your boyfriend lives right next to you, you don't always have to spend time with him! Take some days off and spend them with friends! You could also study with your boyfriend if you have too! Make sure your schedule is good! Hope I helped :)

I've lost my voice, and I was wondering if anybody knew any useful remedies to help me to a speedy recovery, as I'm supposed to be singing in a carol concert on Sunday and in the coming week. I've heard honey and lemon is good for throats, and obviously not trying to strain my voice any more. Any additional ideas?
I used to have that and I drank tea with honey in it and it helped! I also used a humidifier too! You can also try cough drops! Hope I helped :)

im 14/f...and the hair that i have above my upper lip has gotten really dark and noticeable...its embarassing...my mom says not to shave it, im scared to get it waxed, it hurts when you pluck it, and well is there anything else?!
I used to be just like you! I had dark upper lip hair and it was so noticeable! I tried Nair Upper Hair remover and it works great! Your mom is right, just don't shave and wax it because if you wax it, your skin will become dry and stuff, trust me! Nair only costs a few dollars and you can get it at Walmart! Hope I helped :)

If he doesn't, than you can make a list of the pros and cons of each girl! If you still can't choose a girl after that, than just go with their appearence and then choose who's more popular! My boyfriend and I had sex about 2 weeks ago almost and on Monday (This passed monday) He didn't have a condom on the first like 10 seconds we did it but then after that he had one on and we didn't finish because I was scared we just stopped. It was a total of about 5 minutes at the most. I woke up on Monday and I went to go to the bathroom and it would burn when I'd pee. So I went to the doctor and she took a urine sample and I just got the test results back today and she said that it was positive for a bacteria. I'm a little scared because I don't know if there is a chance I could be pregnant at all. I was at my least fertile the day we did it but I'm just scared. I've been trying so hard to get information on it and I'm fed up searching countless sites for the answer. Can ANYONE, for the love of GOD PLEASE tell me if coming up positive for a bacteria could be that I am pregnant? I've talked to my boyfriend about and he said that the chances were very low and this was before I got my results back. Can you Please please please tell me if getting your urine sample back as POSITIVE for a BACTERIA could I be pregnant? Thank you SO much if you can help me!!
I don't think you're pregnant! You probably got an infection which is a UTI! Just go to your doctors and get something prescribed to get rid of it! Hope I helped :)

In my opinion, yes, I do think it's wrong! Some 11 year olds don't even know what making out is! The reason why some young people are making out these days are because many teenagers between 13-15 years old are having sex and they want to "fit in" too! I'm 14 and I haven't kissed or went out with any guy yet! Well that's my opinion! :)
