For some reason everytime I cry my best guy friend looks like he wants to, but he never does. Why is this? Why can't boys just cry? I've always wondered. Like what will it take to get them to cry? I'm just curious, thanks.

When girls cry people feel bad for them. When guys cry they get made fun of. Maybe their ego can't handle that.

Okay, so recently, I went from Florida to Alabama, to Georgia. And it got colder, and being the unlucky girl I am, I got about five cold sores all decorating my top lip. I kinda need to get rid of them soon. And I need a way to hide them. Does anyone know a good medicine or something to heal them soon? Or something to cover them up or something?

I found this on howstuffworks.com, it's seven ways to get rid of cold sores:

1. Cover cold sores with a protective petroleum-based product. This will speed healing and help protect it from secondary infection with bacteria.

2. Reach for aspirin, acetaminophen, or ibuprofen. Cold sores can be quite painful. Over-the- counter painkillers can help.

3. Avoid salty or acidic foods. Foods such as potato chips or citrus fruits can further irritate cold sores and add to the pain.

4. Apply an over-the-counter anesthetic. A local anesthetic ointment containing benzocaine can help numb the pain temporarily.

5. Consult your health-care provider. If you have frequent or severe cold sores, see your doctor. In some cases, an antiviral medication called acyclovir can be prescribed.

6. Protect your lips from the sun. Applying sunscreen to your lips may help prevent sun-induced recurrences of cold sores. Look for a sunscreen designed especially for the lips that has an SPF of 15 or higher. Or, choose a lipstick that contains sunscreen.

7. Keep it to yourself. Cold sores are extremely contagious. Avoid kissing and sharing cups, towels, or other such items. Wash your hands frequently, especially after touching cold sores. And take care not to touch your eyes or genitals immediately after touching cold sores

This is going to sound completely rediculous but I honestly am starting to fear that I am incapable of having any sort of relationship. I am 19 and as of yet have no managed to survive more than 3 weeks with the same guy as the second anything starts to get serious I completely panic. What is wrong with me?
I don't blame any of these guys as they have all treated me very well, I wish I could have said the same. I have never cheated and never would but basically I feel like I lead them on and then just break it off, and as harsh as that sounds thats what I do without meaning to as I genuinely believe I really like them but then for some reason just completely switch off.
Recently another guy has come on the scene who I have liked for a while and I am really worried I am going to mess it up or stop liking him the second things start happening. I really would like to know if this is a normal thing or if I am completely derranged as this cycle has to stop as I am being totally unfair on these guys who don't deserve it.
My father also died when I was younger - do you think this has anything to do with it?
Any analysis would be great - am I a commitment phobic?

It sounds like commitment phobia to me, and maybe your dad dying does have something to do with it. Maybe you're just not used to having a guy around? If you like all these guys you've broken it off with then you probably have a fear of commitment, or a fear that you might actually like them enough one day that you would put yourself in a position to be hurt by them. Make sense? I don't believe you can stop liking somebody that fast. So maybe your just making yourself believe that you don't like them anymore as an excuse to get out of the relationship before you really fall for someone, or before you get hurt. That's what I think.

Go to this website, and make sure the place you get your tattoo done at was approved by the health department. It could save you a world of trouble in the future.

what do you when you like someone soooooooo much that its hard to talk to them and you tried asking him out(by the way I'm 14 female).I tried everything i even wrote him a note. So should i just have someone talk to him for me or try asking him out again I just dont know what to do!!!!!!.

I think you should back off a little and give him some space. Let him think about everything you've done. Don't have someone talk to him. You don't want to seem stalkerish. Just wait a while or let him come to you. If he likes you he will.

me and my old boyfriend broke up a long time ago. i kinda miss him but im afraid that when we start going out again that he will lie to me all the time ( thats why i broke up with him). what do i do?

It's normal to miss your old boyfriend. He was after all a big part of your life. So talk to him, that doesn't mean you have to get back together with him. Guys and girls CAN be just friends. And just because he hurt you that doesn't mean you can't give him a second chance, even if that's just your friendship. Good Luck

It's your choice whether to be mad at her or not, but she's your friend and it's not very nice to call her a "heffa". You should talk to her and tell her how you feel. Maybe ask for an explanation for her actions. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding and maybe not. Go talk to her, and then you can decide whether or not your mad at her and if she's even a good enough friend to waste your time being mad at.

You can be in love with someone who doesn't return your feelings, even though that's probably the worst feeling ever. You don't have to be with someone to love them.

Yes, there is a chance you could be pregnant. If any of his sperm got inside of you than you could be pregnant. Get tested!

theres this one boy, eddie. We're best friends, and i'm in love with him(but he doesn't know). today, me, him, and two other friends were all together, and one of them asked him if he thought my other friend, kim, was hot. he kind of blushed, and he didnt really say yeah but he didnt deny it either. and then she was like, so you do? and he kinda said yeah.
but he kinda acts like he likes me. he sits next to me whenever he gets the chance, and he's really nice to me. when there are a whole group of us, me and him always end up walking behind the rest, talking to eachother.

You can have a boyfriend and still think other guys are hot, right? So he can like a girl and still think other girls are hot. So what if he thinks she's hot? He's only human. That doesn't mean he likes her. It sounds like he likes you though! If he liked your friend he would always be sitting by and talking to her, but he's not. He's talking to you. I'm not 100% sure he likes you, but I think so. So go for it! You only live once, Unless you believe in reincarnation.

There's this guy in my class that I like, HOWEVER there's this girl in one of my other classes that likes him too (it's obvious she does by her actions)
I don't really know what to put here loool.

Do I try to pursue him or let the girl have him because it seems kind of mean.

Hey, Well, I'm 13/f and in about January, I dated someone, for about a day, if you really wanna get technical, that I had met twice before that time. He cheated on me, with his previous girlfriend, and obviously, we broke up after that. He never told me he cheated on me, I found out becuase his previous girlfriend put 'I love you ----" in her profile. So, then I found out. Yeah, but, now it seems that I still like him, more than ever actually, and I can't get over him. I haven't seen him since the one night I saw him while we were going out.

What's wrong with me?!

You know what they say. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" Sometimes its hard to get over someone even though you barely know them, I don't know why. I've had a hard time getting over someone who I didn't even date, that's how it works sometimes. Nothing is wrong with you. Some people say 'put yourself out there and date again' and you'll get over someone, but who wants to date when they're still hung up on a guy. It just takes time, so don't worry.

I keep looking at the clock when its 9:11! its so weird. like AM or PM, like.. i dont usually look for the time that often but like its been a pattern for a lot of years.. even before like the 9/11 twin towers thing happened, and i was little. (13/f) well when i was old enough to tell time ofcourse. why do you suppose this happens? or is it just a freaky coincidence?

It's just a freaky cincidence, although some people say there's no such thing as coincidence. So maybe it isn't. I however always seem to wake up at 2:00 AM every night.

I am 15, and I'll be 16 in a couple of months. I have a boyfriend who is 18. All of my life, I have been around older people. I just don't really relate to many people that's the same age with me, and all of my male friends are older than 17.
Well, my parents don't really want me and my boyfriend to go anywhere together because they think he's too old for me. They're old-fashioned, and age is a big thing to them. My boyfriend is really respectful and everything. You would think that being their daughter, (and the only child in the house) my parents would know me, but they really don't. They don't know me as a person. It makes me mad that they're trying to say what's best for me when they don't even know me. It would break my heart to have our relationship be ruined because my parents simply don't know me. Is there anything I can say to them? I'm really confused on this one.

Tell them everything you stated on this website. Tell them even though you respect their opinion about eveything you really like your boyfriend. Also tell your parents you're old enough to make responsible decisions concerning your life and that they need to trust you. Just tell them how you feel and explain your situation to them. You shouldn't have to choose between your boyfriend and your parents.
