theres this one boy, eddie. We're best friends, and i'm in love with him(but he doesn't know). today, me, him, and two other friends were all together, and one of them asked him if he thought my other friend, kim, was hot. he kind of blushed, and he didnt really say yeah but he didnt deny it either. and then she was like, so you do? and he kinda said yeah.
but he kinda acts like he likes me. he sits next to me whenever he gets the chance, and he's really nice to me. when there are a whole group of us, me and him always end up walking behind the rest, talking to eachother.
does the fact that he thinks my friend is hot mean that he can't like me? does he sound like he might?

boy best friends are very complicated. There is a huge possibility that he does like you, and while a boy likes you he still has opinions on other girls OR he likes you when he's around, but okay.. lets put it this way... he wants his cake and to eat it to. EXAMPLE.. "Kim" is his cake. he wants to be able to have it but "U" are the eating it part.
Also... sometimes when you like someone it's easy to read more into their feelings because you want it to be there.
But like i said, there is a very thin/complicated lines between boy bestfriends and girls. They're your best friend, so its easy to fall in love with them, and the fact that they're a boy lets there be the sexual side into it. because think about it, if your best friend was a girl she'd be everythng you looked for in a guy BUT not attracted physically too.. thats why boy bestfriends are complicated.

blokes use other women and insults etc, to cover up their real feelings, he's probably doing it to see how you react so he knows whether to make a move or not, just try talking to him, if you are really good friends then no harm can come from it.

You can have a boyfriend and still think other guys are hot, right? So he can like a girl and still think other girls are hot. So what if he thinks she's hot? He's only human. That doesn't mean he likes her. It sounds like he likes you though! If he liked your friend he would always be sitting by and talking to her, but he's not. He's talking to you. I'm not 100% sure he likes you, but I think so. So go for it! You only live once, Unless you believe in reincarnation.

heres what i think..if he does like you and he thinks the other girl is hot doesnt mean he cant still like you.. and those are signs of someone liking you but it could also mean yall are just really good friends. but from the looks of it i kinda think hes into you ;)

Just because he thinks your friend is hot doens't mean he can't like you also. Alot of guys think alot of girls are hot, but that doesn't mean they like them all. From what you said, it sounds to me like he likes you. You too seem really good friends and that can turn into a relationship easily. I think something will happen =)
