music for brain

Question Posted Monday April 9 2007, 5:30 pm

I was thinking, just like there's excersies to make the brain work or start in places where they don't, are there music for your brain that can help you focus when you work and opens your mind?

If so what kind of music and and you list me some songs?

well i heard that calming music-maybe acid jazz- relaxes you, and helpes you focus on work. but fast up-beat music e.g. pussycat dolls, fat boy slim etc, helps you work faster.

Studies show that music lessons improve brain development, especially at a younger age.

That website offers some insight into the experiments performed on music. I'm sure you've heard that listening to classical music helps, particularly Mozart.

I personally feel that some of it comes from within ourselves. What is mean is: If you think that something like that will work, then it has a greater change of actually happening. Almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy. There would be no harm in trying it out for yourself. Give it a try and see - everyone is different. Hope that helped and good luck.
