I asked one of my close guy friends to prom. he said he doesn't know if he wants to go because he said he can't dance. he also said that dances aren't for him but he said he would think about it. how can i persuade him to take me to the prom?!
Tell him you arent the greatest dancer either and offer to take some dance classes with him, even if u can dance! lol, or you can go with the old who cares just have fun.

This sounds weird, but play basketball with a few guys..if you have a guy friend whos on a basketball team or someone who likes to play alot for funm ask em for a game of like 2 on 2 after school. I got better by playing guys, theyr taller so it forces you to shoot better. And alot of guys on basketball teams have some great skills they'll love to show off, lol. It worked for me, i learned some new moves too. Try it out

There isnt anything to do but be concerned. Its normal for people to fight everyonce and awhile, hopefully they wont get divorced. Sometimes people fight over the dumbest things! Just dont think its your fault, thats the worst thing you could do.
Hey. I'm a cashier at a store thats like Linens and Things. Its my first job (i'm sixteen) and I've realized that its not the kind of job I want. I don't like the fact that its a big place and its busy allll the time. I enjoy interacting with my co workers. At my place, I feel like I can't do that. We're all busy helping out the customers, which is good... but I feel like I don't know the people I work with well. What are some good places to work at, where you're working...but you still have opportunities to get to know your co-workers? Preferably not a fast food restaraunt, a grocery store, or big places. I want something small and fun. I was thinking about working at a tanning salon?? Does anyone have any good ideas?
I work at a tanning salon, Tanning Bed (im in new york) its great! Its not hard work at all. If you work at a large chain that has several beds your going to need to learn how to use a computer program and learn what lotions do and such. You can talk more with people at a tanning salon because its not exactly busy all the time, you still have to help some people tho. Is a teacher allowed to bring down your grade because you forgot a book or a packet that you need for that class?
I guess it depends, if you are in a class where there is a participation grade and you arent prepared for class, yeah they can do that. If its like an english class where participation isnt part of the grade, it shouldnt really be done. Talk to your parents, tell them you forgot the packet or whatever..they'll back you up and think its stupid and call the school and complain, lol. At my school, you get graded within the first week of your class on if you have the proper materials or not. If they want a three subject notebook and you could only get a one subject, teachers throw a fit and take 2 points off your average. Yeah, teachers are cooky and think they can do whatever they want.

The best thing i can suggest is going to local resturants or stores and seeing if they are hiring. Keep checking, people dont keep jobs in fast food for too long. I work at a tanning salon, i started when i was about to turn 16 though. If your close to 16 im sure someone will hire you.

Your almost 21! Why do you need moms permision? If you have the money u can do it on your own. Just make sure you find a good plastic surgeon. If you really do have to get your moms permision, research rhinoplastys. Get before and after pictures, find some stories of people who have had it done. I cant promise a yes, but its worth a try.

It depends on where u live. But i just started going to a tanning salon about 2 weeks ago, so far ive gone 3 times a week to start..and i see results already. Just becareful with tanning beds. Make sure you have a good lotion, dont stay in for too long, and make sure the place u choose is clean!

I use Aussie shampoo and conditioner. They have a special kind for dry hair which i really reccomend durring the winter or if u straighten your hair. I have a really good straighter that i got at Sally's Beauty Supply that i use everyday. You dont have to spend alot of cash, find one in your price range. And be really careful when u straighten your hair, take good care of it or you might fry it!
