IveGotPinkJazzShoes answered Sunday April 3 2005, 9:08 am: Its just because of all the hype about it. there is so much of a build up hat you think it will be this amazing this butthe firsttime it isnt cos it hurt. but dont worry, as they always say practise does make perfect! it gets better believe me! its never like it seems in films because of course there not actually doing it so it just shows the good bits! so dont worry it will get better! sunshine1030 answered Sunday February 27 2005, 10:56 pm: i think i know where ur coming from. i was the first of my friends to lose their virginity, and after i was scared that i had made the wrong decision, so i didn't do it again for a while after that. i realized later that i was ready to do it again, and i'm glad i did. if ur like me it might just take time for it to sink in, or maybe you really weren't ready. in which case just don't do it again until you are ready. i know for me the whole experience of it caught me really off guard because it was not what i had expected at all, and i think that was what made me wait a while before doing it again. i hope this helped! dreamingkat answered Saturday February 26 2005, 12:51 pm: The circumstances surrounding your loss of virginity have more to do with what you feel than the act of sex itself. Were you raised to believe that sex should only be done in a certain way, with certain people, or at certain times, but have sex outside of the "accepted" manner? You might be feeling a little guilt or regret - but it's not really about the sex, it's about breaking your cultures taboo. Was the sex so good that you felt like you were on drugs for a while, and now your a bit depressed? (highly unlikely for the first time, but it could happen) That's a normal reaction as your body attempts to straighten out the chemistry. Were you expecting something awesome and wonderful, and it was just kinda awkward and now instead of feeling all close your just feeling sore? From what I've heard, that's the most common experience, so I'll give it a more in-depth answer. :) Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to think that loosing their virginity is a magical act that will somehow change things.
Any act can be magical, and no act is inherently magical.
It's been a long time since I lost my virginity, and I remember being surprised when the guy said that he felt older and more mature now. I was a sarcastic little tart - I replied "don't worry, you'll get over it".
I felt good from the contact, sore from the penetration, and honestly didn't have any strong feelings one way or the other about anything else.
I have had sex that felt like it was straight from the movies. It didn't happen until we were older, mature enough to talk about what we really wanted, and had a little spending change to get the little props that made it really feel like a dream. The first time you have sex isn't your only chance to make it special.
mysticpixie05 answered Saturday February 26 2005, 12:45 am: it NEVER works out like you plan. it is perfectly fine to be feeling like that. alot of people feel like that after their first time. if you really like the person and care about the person then theres nothing to worry about. your not a slut or anything like that at all. you only had sex with one person and yu dont sleep around. so dont worry about that issue. but you could talk to your boyfriend about it. he will understand what you are feeling and he will help make you feel better. if you have any questions or want to know anything, let me know. drop one in my inbox or IM me. Siren_Cytherea answered Saturday February 26 2005, 12:33 am: Hey. Lemme just say that when I lost it, I felt like a total slut for months, until my friend reminded me that I couldn't be a slut. I'd only slept with one person, I was dating him, and we were/are in love.
So you're not a slut, if you're having those feelings.
You feel weird after you lose it, I think, and it's NEVER what you expect. I mean, I didn't expect it to make me cry, but it did (pain, ow). It frankly sucked. I can use one word to describe it: "OW". It got a lot better as it went along, but for me it hurt the entire time
You feel better about it as it goes. If you're having issues about yourself or whatever, you might wanna talk to the guy you lost it to and tell him what you're feeling. Guys, as much as I almost hate to say it, are usually pretty good at making girls feel better about themselves. So use that resource.
I hope this helps!

MummuM answered Friday February 25 2005, 10:51 pm: Don't worry about this hun. Everyone who lost their virginity, after they feel weird about it. Weird to talk about it, or be with the person that took your virginity. The best thing to do is talk to your boyfriend about this. He'll be the one that will be able to understand everything. But don't worry, mostly everyone's in the same boat when it comes to this.

TheTeenGirl answered Friday February 25 2005, 10:27 pm: Well, after you have sex, you're suppose to feel this way, sad, depressed, some anger, and regret. Now, I may not be a person you're looking for, because you wanting people who aren't virgins, but let just say that I know you're suppose to feel that way. And, you should talk to your boyfriend about it, he will be the best one to understand you, trust me. I hope you feel better.
