Cookies are my all time favorite snakc (right beside ice cream and chocolate, chocolate ice cream is even better) but there is this AWSOME recipie that i use
1 cup butter, melted and cooled
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup oats (uncooked oatmeal)
1 cup crushed corn flakes cereal
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp. vanilla
Options (mix and match as you like)
3/4 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1 cup raisins
1 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup toffee chips
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 375° F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, corn flakes, sugars, raisins and coconut. Add eggs, vanilla and melted butter. Mix till well blended. Mix in chocolate chips.
In a separate bowl, mix flour salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add flour mixture and stir until it is all incorporated into the dough.
Bake 12-15 min. and presto you have some awsome chocolate chip cookies (at least my family and i like them)

Cuz they have their friends that they hang around, if they don't keep up a certian "status" than they could be considered "outcasts" and their friends would make fun of them. Guys are like really self concious about things like that. Hope i helped

ok i have a lot of discharge, i have not started my period yet either. i live with my dad so its really hard to bring up the subject. i can't have a aunt, a friend, or a cousin take me either. i need pantyliners but i dont know how to get them without my dad knowing. what should i do???

Just ask him to take you to the store, go off and say that you are going to look at something and just pick them up your self, then go to the check out buy them and put them in the car (someplace where he won't look to grab groceries later) and get them out when he is watching tv or something. My friend's mom died and she is totally fine w/ it, everybody thinks that it is embarasing to talk about, but think about it this way, every girl in the world will eventually go through the same body process. It is a part of life. Don't worry your dad knows that it has to happen some time, most guys won't even talk about it, he will prolly just say ok lets go go the store. Won't bring it up after that (guys don't like to talk about female problems.)

ok so im in the colorguard at my highschool for the marching band. and my friend sally is in the marching band. well sally made a friend named..uhmm...jake.there really close. well i saw his pic on myspace.. and i fell in love. i relly like him. and i have liked him for over a month. he went to summer camp and just came back. so i couldnt talk to him during camp. well, now since hes back he doesnt think that i like him anymore (my friend told him that i liked him and hes coo land wants to get to know me) well hes like ooh she doesnt talk to me i doubt she stil llikes me. but i do. i even tell him but like well my friend does for me cuz for som reason i cant. its really annoying to me and him. its just that when i talk to him i freak out. like if he ims me and says hi im like omfg what do i say? and hes like oh your not talkative are you? its like i jsut freeze and forget how to type or something. he knows im nervous to talk to him but it still pisses him off. i was on 3 way with him and "sally" and i still couldnt talk. im meeting him tomorrow at band camp. so basically, HOW CAN I TALK TO HIM!?!?! and what about?? Just be your self, talk about him, What i first did was I had him do all the talking, i would ask him questions, then tell him that he needed to elaborate more. If things get quiet look into his eyes and ask him what he is thinking stare into his eyes while he is answering you, it will give you a better idea on what he is REALLY thinking (at least it does for me) talk about things that you are both interested it, guys are just as nervous, if not moreso than girls. Just go with the flow, it will all work out in the end.

alright i am 14/ female and i am going to be a freash man this year, so since for the past like for ever i have been playin tackle foot ball on the teams with all the male class mates of mine i figured id try freshman foot ball, so i did, but today i just coulndt do it, our skool is very competive in the foot ball department and all, and even my own aunt and unkle think i shouldnt play cuz im gurl, and i must admit i was pretty good too , but today i quit because im sick of being th eonly girl and i wasnt having any fun, but then all day i have been crying because i REALLLY love the game, and i dont want the people who did support me to go to thinking that gurls cant play and then they next gurl could have it even harder then me, idk, well i guess my question is what should i do next? i cant even stop cryinbg for more then 2 hours (link)

Try putting together your own game ever week or so. I am the same way, i like to play football and there is a game that goes on ever wed. across the street from my house, im not sure how much land you have, but maybe you can host one at your house every know and then.

14/f. i'm starting school soon and i have two questions:
1) i dont know what to wear on the first day of school. i want to wear jeans, but my school has no air conditioning, and i don't want to be hot. so i thought i would wear a jean skirt, but i think that everybody will wear skirts, and i don't want to be like everybody else. oh and i really don't like wearing shorts, so any good ideas?
2) also i have a problem for school picture day. i always straighten my hair, and that is what i want to do on picture day. but since my school doesn't have air conditioning, i'm worried that my hair will curl and frizz by picture time. i have my pictures taken 7th period, which is the second to last period of the day.

not sure about 1, but on question 2 do you have a gym class? if you have gym you can straighten your hair then, or maybe they will give you a little more time to "premp" yourself since you have to wait so long, go to the bathroom or something and take care of it real quick (not sure how long it takes i honestly have very straight hair)

I would talk to my mom (Some people arn't comfertable w/ that, but i am very close to my mother) Just ask her why you can't "go out with somobody" tell her that times have changed and that going out now dosn't mean the same as it did before (not sure what you think so far, but my parents had trouble w/ the same thing and this is what i did)I told them that it simply meant that we were boy friend and girlfriend, and explained that we wouldn't be able to go any place cuz we didn't have a car so we would be around the house, what is wrong with that? There they can "chaparone" so they know that they are "responsible" Some people may think that it is crazy, but that is what i did, and i have a boyfriend now (4 monts on Friday)

I personally use something caleed Clean and Clear, i get it at Wal*Mart and basically it is alcohol so, try some alcohol on a rag or something, it dries it up and dissapears w/ in a couple days for me, my whole face with in a couple weeks.

I personally like walmart I know that they arn't "brand name" and all that stuff, but i decided that i like them, they are comfortable, and last as long as i fit in them lol, alot of people don't like their style, but it is all personal opinion.

My bestfriend has a ton of guy friends. Sometimes I feel left out of all their conversations and dont know how to get in the conversation too. I have some guy friends but I always end up liking them for more that a friend and then i get to nervose around them so I only talk to them online...not in person...any tips? (link)

try researching the topics that they enjoy talking about. If they like talking about sports, be sure that you know sports. You don't have to LIKE the things, but be sure you know a little, that way when they talk about it you can at least understand the basis of the conversations.

listen i wasn't being self-righteous, self rightesous is defined as being Righteous in one's own esteem, quite frankly i have a low self esteem. i wasn't trying to win him over. He asked why people think it is wrong, i gave him verses that show why this is wrong. Most people don't under stand scripture. It was a simple question, it would make sencse if he created 2 of the same sex rather than a male and a female, that is ALL that i implyed (sp?) i don't think that i am better than anybody, i know that i am way down on the list of good people in the world. I respect those that arn't christians, i personally grew up in a christian home, i don't know what it is like to not know Christ, i respect those that are trying to learn it for them-selves even if the rest of their family isn't. i know that the way that i wrote back prolly sounded rude too, but now i understand that somethings your write may have 2 different meanings, some people persieve things differently than others, If you and i both read the same thing we could come up with 2 totally different meanings on the same sentance. im not trying to be proud, i took your advice i changed my answer taking off the adam and steve, thinking that may have gone to far. I respect you for trying to help and all, but i still think that it was answering his question.

I am in cross country and we have been running 4 days now. I do stretch my legs very well. But, in my lower stomach all 4 days i have a HORRIBLE stomach cramp i can't control. Is there any certain stretches i can do to prevent this?? or just something to help !!! Thanks in advance

So are they like side cramps? if so i found that you could be dehydrated, i as well used to run cross country (im taking a brake this year) and i would get HORRIBLE side cramps, my dad said that i was dehydrated and if i drank more water the night of and the day of the meet (ALOT of water) then it should help, i tried and I never had a problem. The next meet i didn't drink as much and i got side cramps again. So i would recomend drinking more water, it could just be that you arn't getting enough. Cross country is a very demanding sport as you probably know. Also a couple streatches that i do for my abs when they are sore (if it isn't side cramps) i put my arms over my head like at a 45 degree angle and bring my cheast and stomach forward, it streatches very well. Also lean to one side or the other, that also streches the side of your stomach, i hope that this helped

my best friends birthday is tomorrow [8/11] and shes having a pool party. im going, but theres going to be a lot of people there [boys too] and im embarrassed of going in the pool since im 14&wear a one piece. im just not comfortable in a 2 piece. I tried asking my friend to not make me go in the pool but she says I have to. Plus on top of that i look absolutley HIDEOUS in a bathing suit. My thighs are just...awful. Im a very shy person and i know ill be embarrassed beyond what i could imagine, since im not exactly skinny. what should I do?

ok i am the same way, i don't like one pieces, but i don't want to "over expose" my-self in a two piece, i found something called a tankini, it is a two piece but it comes down low enough to where it only shows part of your mid section, you can get the tank in different sizes, you can get them where you can barely see any skin at all, then you can get them that are like 2 in. from the swim bottoms line. Just something that you might check out if you are really set on wearing a two piece. (i think i got mine at like JC Penny's or Kohls)

i am a fourteen year old girl.
here's the deal. i like this guy (who i have talked to and he knows i like him and blah, blah, blah) he said that he didn't want a relationship because of what his cousin said.
but his ex girlfriend said that he was too clingy. that's why she broke up with him. and one of my absolute best friends is his ex ,ex girlfriend. and she also said he was too clingy.
i am going to talk to him monday and tell him that he can keep his girlfriends because he is too clingy, but i would still except him even though he has a clinging problem.
do you think that is a good idea? should i change anything or what else should i do? is he one of those guys who aren't worth it?

This isn't really answering your question i don't think, but i kinda wish that my boyfriend was more clengy, he dosn't ever seem to want to do anything with me. I personally wouldn't tell him unless he asked why he can't keep a girl friend. then i would say i have heard that it is cuz you are too clengy.
Some people are different, some like there space, others want to know that they are loved. i dunno maybe this did or didn't help, but i do hope that it did

I'm totally lost in the types of Christianity there are. I know I believe in God, and the fact that Jesus died for us to get into Heaven. But what I do not understand, is what exactly God did, and what exactly Jesus did to get crucified in the first place.

Basically what Jesus did was he preached the Gospil. one of the kings (im sorry i don't remember which one) Didn't like that he was getting all of this attention, he was mad that people were worshiping his God rather than him. So this king took it before Pilate, he was going to let Jesus go, but the people would not let him. I would recomend John 18 It is about the sacrifice of the son of God. Maybe if you read that story then it will help you to understand. And about the denominations, im not really sure, sorry:(
If you are ever in the Arkansas/Missouri region check into seeing The Passion Play, it is awsome and it is about the last 7 days of Jesus life (it may be in other places but i know that it is there for sure, you could prolly do a google search)

i know that this isn't what you are looking for, but if you pull your hair back (im assuming you have long har cuz you are trying dread locks) But they have hats with fake dreads hanging off, if you hide your real hair you can't really tell (unless people know you) but yea that is always an option too.

I stole my friend's new 300 dollar digital camera. (reminder: I know it was wrong, no lecturing)
While doing it, i KNEW it was wrong.

simply say lord, i know that i have sined, i know that i fall short of the glory of you, i fell really bad for what i have done and lord please forgive me for taking this camra. Yes he will forgive you, Why because he loves you. God will never give you more than you can handle so this is no reason to die. Are you a Christian like have you been babtized, and asked Jesus Christ into your heart and to be your lord and savior? if not it may be a calling from God, that he wants you to be his child again. You also need to ask your friend for forgivness. it is part of the process. Your friend may be mad for a while, but it is really something that you need to do. May God bless.
