1 cup butter, melted and cooled
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup oats (uncooked oatmeal)
1 cup crushed corn flakes cereal
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp. vanilla
Options (mix and match as you like)
3/4 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1 cup raisins
1 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup toffee chips
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 375° F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, corn flakes, sugars, raisins and coconut. Add eggs, vanilla and melted butter. Mix till well blended. Mix in chocolate chips.
In a separate bowl, mix flour salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add flour mixture and stir until it is all incorporated into the dough.

1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup peanut butter
2 T. margarine or butter
1/8 tsp. vanilla
4 cups of chex cereal
3/4 cup powdered sugar.
Combine chocolate chips, panut butter and margarine in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir in vanilla. I another bowl combine chocolate mixture and cereal. Stir until evenly covered. Put entire mixture in a large brown paper grocery bag. sprinkle powdered sugar over the chocolate mixture. Close bag and shake until ceareal pieces are covered with the powdered sugar. If storing, put in a plastic bag or airtight container. make 4 cups.
x0xfabulous0x answered Wednesday August 23 2006, 9:06 am: Hey. I just found this recipe recentely and I haven't tried it but it looks really good. The final product will be apple cinnamon marshmallow squares. what you need :
1/4 cup margarine or butter
35 large marshmallows or 3 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
2 table spoons cinnamon candies
7 cups of apple dapples or apple jacks cereal
Stove top directions: Butter 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and cinnamon candies, stirring constantly until marshmallows are melted ( cinnamon candies will not completely melt). Remove from heat. Quickly add cereal, stirring until peices are evenly coated. Press into prepared pan with back of buttered spoon.Cool. Cut into squares.
Microwave directions: Butter 13x9x2 inch baking pan.Melt margarine, marshmallows, and cinnamon candies in large microwave safe bowl on High 2 minutes. stirring every minute ( cinnamon candies will not completely melt ). Quickly add cereal, stirring until all peices are evenly coated. Press into prepared pan with back of buttered spoon.Cool. Cut into squares.
If recipe is followed correctly you should have 24 squares. Hope I helped enjoy your treat!
