this mornin i woke up and i had a hurt on my side at the bottom of my rib cage. it feels like i bruised it, but i didnt. it also hurts when i turn me upper body. any ideas on what it is or what i shuld do?

Take some advil but otherwise just see how it feels tomorrow morning. You might have just slept on it wrong and it might wear off by the end of the day- i'm not sure when you wrote this. If it continues to hurt for a few days make an appt. with a doctor.
ok so my boyfriend and i have been dating for 4 months, but we've been close friends for about a year. when we first got together, everything was great.. we were so happy together!!! but then over the summer i went on a family vacation for alomost a month (i kept in touch with him as much as i could while i was gone, but i was overseas and it was hard) and when i got back (on his birthday! wouldnt think that was a good present? lol) he acted like he didnt care about me anymore. and it gets worse.. im a senior and he graduated last year, and he works two jobs, so it makes it hard to see him. when hes not working he "forgets" to call me and goes fishing or some other manly thing with his friends. now, i dont have a problem with his friends, but for some reason, his friends dont like me. whenever my boyfriend is with them, he acts like he doesnt like me either. for example, the other night he called me when i got off of work, and then in the middle of my sentence i could hear his friends come over and hes goes "look b!+
Break up with him! He sounds like jerk that cares way to much what his friends think. When you break up with him don't talk to him for a while because if you do it too soon you'll think he's changed- and maybe one day he will but you shouldn't have to sit around and wait for him to realize what he's losing.
i want alot of honest opinions on these 2 questions.
1)what do you consider a girl that has had sex since the age of 13? Had another bf when she was 14 then had sex with another guy (cheated on her bf) she barely knows the 2nd time they hung out together?
2)what do you consider a guy that screws a girl he hardly knows the 2nd date, knowing she has a bf?? will rate 5s for honesty!!
1) I'd probably think she was slutty but I'd feel bad for her because she's going to have a lot of crap to deal with as she gets older.
2) I'd consider him a jerk. But what kind of girl would cheat on her boyfriend?
My best friends parents just told her that they are getting a divorce. I don't know what to say to her. I basically said "I am soooo sorry" and "this should be happening to you" I also toldh er tha ti am always there for her she can call me anytime, it doesn't matter if its 12 midnight, and she can come over whenever, she doesn't hav eto call or nothin' i don't know what else to say. HELP!!!!
lol I'm assuming you ment "this shouldn't be happening to you", but nonetheless I think you are doing what you should be. There's no "right" way to handle it. Obviosly your friend isn't "ok" even if she says she is, and she will have her bad days when things at home aren't going so well. Maybe try having her over after school to do homework- to distract her, and keep telling her you're there for her. Don't bring up the divorce, let her bring it up if she wants to talk about it. If you want more ideas just ask!

I went to friends birthday party on Sunday. Everybody thought it was gonna be soo much fun... but it wasnt. Instead, birthday girl hurt her leg to where you can see her bone!! She had to get stitches, and wasnt even allowed to walk!! :( Everybody invited got bored reallll fast, so we went outside and did things without birthday girl. :( She really is like my friend... and she had a lousy birthday. I didnt mean to leave her but it got SO BORING. My question is im trying to do something reallyyyyyyyyyy nice for my friend ((birthday girl)), because NOBODY should be treated like dirt and get stitches right before their birthday party started!! So what should i do to make her feel better? Any suggestion?

Suprise her by going out to dinner or breakfast. Have everyone that is going meet at the restaurant-make sure somebody gets a table- Then you and someone else *or 2 other people* kidnap your friend *Put a blind fold on her* and keep the blind fold on until she's infront of the table! My friends and I do that EVERY year and It's a lot of fun! If you guys drive then do it at night so you can go out afterwards.

James told me he likes me. but to me, he seems like more of the best friend type. sometimes i find myself thinking i REALLY like him and sometimes i feel like i just want him to leave me alone. OMG! I literally know exactly what you're going through and I was about to 'ask a question'. Like I don't know if I like him, but then when he walked a girl to her car I was like UhhHH..in a way I think we like the attention, but who could blame us? I like what the person under me said!! lol
its not really love life but in Virginia The OC comes on channel 14 but here lately Baseball has been on in place of it. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was moved to a different day or channel or something?
Lol no it should be back in a few weeks. OC does this a lot... like they go away for a month and then come back- who knows why!

alrighty, one of my good friends is...i guess what people would call a 'music elitist'? she's very unique and listens to old rock bands like the who and the beatles and stuff. she acts like she doesnt care what anyone thinks of her, but obviously she does or she would try so hard to be different, right? anyway, I on the other hand, am to her, the stereotypical prep. yeah, i get up and take an hour to get ready every morning, i shop at stores like AE and GAP, and i listen to pop music. whenever i give her a ride home or anything, she's always criticizing and making fun of the music that's playing, and if i go to the bathroom to fix my hair or makeup, she HAS to make a comment. i really do try so hard not to say anything to her about it. i tolerate her BLASTING the who and coldplay in my ears when i'm around her without saying anything, and i completely respect her political and religious opinions (WHICH ARE COMPLETELY OPPOSITE THAN MINE) and she doesnt. what do i do??? today i got mad and i blasted the music in the car and i kept making fun of her music, but now i feel bad. what do i do to tell her how i feel without coming off as a total b****???
Try laughing it off whenever she says anything. Like if you're in the bathroom and she makes a comment that you care too much or something you could try "I know, I love it!" Or "That's why you love me!" But after a while that might get old and you might stop believing it. Or next time she says something you could be like *take a deep breathe and in your sweetest calmest voice* "(insert name here), I know you don't like _____(clothes,music.._, but I do and it sorda hurts when you comment on it. But I love you!" lol then smile and laugh a little and try to change the subject. Hope I helped! Geez this is a long answer.. oOps!
I recently met this guy and we're now dating. We aren't exactly what you would call the cutest couple because well, some people don't believe we belong each other. Those some people being my friends.
I'm what you could call the preppy high school cheerleader that hangs out with other preppy cheerleaders/jocks.
He is...well I'm not sure what he is. When you look at him you think oh, just another punkish looking emo druggy kid. Which is what my friends think. But, he really isn't. He did voluntarily dye his hair black and has an eye brow and lip piercing. Along with another one that is below the belt that I haven't seen yet ;P.
But anyway, back to the point. He's a sXe(straightedge). If you don't know what that is, it means that he doesn't drink, doesn't do drugs and doesn't believe in casual sex.
I was recently involved in an accident. The accident should have never happened because we'll the driver and I were drinking. Fortunately, I'm still alive. And because of the accident I've decided not to drink anymore. (I met my bf after my accident).
My friends think that my bf is BS and that he's just kidding himself. And obviously, do not like him. His friends and I get along fine and he doesn't mind my friends, except for the fact that they don't like him. What should I do?
lol he sounds hot! Maybe go on a double date with a friend so they can get to know him. Invite them along with you guys to the movies or just to your house. After they get to know him I'm sure they'll like him! I understand though! They're your friends and you want them to approve! Atleast you know that they care enough about you to tell you their honest opinion. I'm sure you've tried this, but just flat out tell them you like this guy and that he is a good guy! Good luck!

Well since it's your bestfriend I think you should back off. Don't answer when he calls and don't return his text messages so he'll get the picture. If you went with him any time soon your friend would be really hurt, maybe in a month or so if they're not together you can totally go for it! Good luck!
i use acnefree and when i put on the toner, i use a cotton ball and the toner goes right through the cotton ball so when i try to put it on my face it basically dried out ..if you know what i mean.. what can i do to prevent this? is it the type of cotton balls im useing because i used to try proactiv and it worked just fine for me?
It might be your cottonballs. Some are "silkier" then others. Find the ones that are denser, most likely and store brand or something.

Hollly crap! Kids these days.. lol. Since you are older then her, don't feel akward talking to her about it. One day when she's doing homework, knock on her door and say "Hey _______, can we talk for a second?" She'll say yes and just be like "Okay umm... a couple of days ago i saw you and (insert name here) like (insert whatever else they did here). (then something to the point of) I know it's none of my business, but I don't think you should be doing this at your age. You have years and years to do the things your doing and I don't want you to get too involved, too young, you know what I mean?" my friend lost his phone last night at the homecoming dance and we couldnt find it... somebody answered at one point and then hung up...i called last night and this mornin and somebody ahd obviously turned it off... we checked with a lot of people last night, like all the chaperones or whatever... but no one had found it... is there anyway to find out where it is, or how to get it back?? please help! i really want to find it for him!! thanks
I don't know how to find it.. but tell your friend to call his/her phone company in case the thief is using the phone. Basically cancel the phone. He/she might need to buy a new phone bc people are mean and most likely won't give it back if they haven't yet.
yeah i play volleyball outside 4 days a week for a long time. of course i sweat so yeah...but like i get these bumps on the backs of my legs (i think theyre sweat bumps). i take a shower after volleyball everyday, but they still dont go away much. they get red and its embarrasing cus we wear really short shorts. anyone have any stuff they think i should use or just plain old advice? big thanks.

It sounds like sun poisening. Moisturize *spelling!* it every day and be sure to put sunscreen on your legs *and your face &neck* before you go to volleyball. And be sure to wash your hands afterwards so your hands don't get slippery after you sweat!
