What's your view on 'first loves'?
Like, do you believe you'll always love the first person you fell inlove with ... to some degree?
Because it's been about 2 years since my first and I broke up, and I'm still hung up on him. Not like intensely, just... I still feel for him, and have wished I didn't for years now. What the hell?

my first lovr has always held a place in my heart and hes now married with two kids and both he and his wife are some of my best friends. she knows about our history but thats what it is.... its history so i dont day dream about him anymore but yeah i believe that your first love will always hold a little piece of your heart. its that person who taught you how to love

I am 12 years old and I haven't had my period yet but I think i will get it soon because i have already started puberty. But i just want to here other girls stories about their first periods so I know what to expect. I'm also kinda nervous cuse I live with my dad so i'll have to tell him when it happens. my first time was when i was 12. i had cramps the night before but i didnt know what it was until i woke up the next morning. unfortuneately my mother has already left for work and i didnt have a daddy so i was on my own. i figured out how to put on a pad and went to school. i wanted to call my mother from school but my principal... who happened to be a guy and young... wouldnt leave me alone. needless to say it was really embarassing trying to tell her with him standing right there so dont worry about how your father will react because my principal practically ran from the room after i told my mother

Okay so I'm 16 years old. And for some reason, whenever a guy shows an interest in me..even if I know in my head that I don't like them, I still have feelings as if I do. It's not only like that with guy's my own age, and it's not only a liking feeling. I also have young male teachers, and for some reason (only certain ones) I just get attached to them, some I even THINK I like. It's just the feeling of having someone who's older than yourself liking how you work and everything I guess? I don't know! It's only to certain guys.
I kind of think it may be because the relationship between my father and I is horrible. And I always look for acceptance from him, although..I barely get it. Maybe that's why?
Also, I'm a pretty girl. I'm always told so. So..why do I feel the need to always "make myself prettier" by adding on more and more make-up as time goes on? It's as if I'm trying to impress people, I'm not though.

it is a bit silly. i mean would you rather a man lie to you about the way he feels? a man shouldnt have to lie to you about he feels, we, as women get that enough so you should appreciate his honesty. and if your going to seriously consider spending the rest of your life with this man then maybe he and your son could get to know eachother better but try not to give your son a reason to get to close to him until your sure that he jsut wont walk out on the two of you. as a single overprotective mother myself i wont let my daughter meet someone unless i am sure they are going to stick around

Okay my question is, do some guys find it NOT nasty to have sex with their partner, while they are on their period? It seems most guys I know that I've asked if they would ever do it with their lovers/girlfriends while they were on it, and they said "Aw-hell no that's gross." Is it all guys? Like example, when I've been on my period, my boyfriend has asked me if I'd wanted to have sex with him, not sure if he wanted to but I know I did!!! lol Well he doesn't know I have, but I get very easily turned on while it's my time of the month and I often want him more, but I'm a bit worried to act on it, since of the mess it would be and I also don't want to gross him out. What should I do? Are there some guys that don't find this groos? Appinoins, experiences, I'd love to hear them all both views from men and woman.

so me and my friend are stuck in town going to university together, but we're not really feeling like we're in university, it feels more like high school or an after school program. it's our first year and we're not sure if it's just us or if we have to adjust, but our friends that went away to school say they're having fun, is this normal first year feelings? is it going to get any better? i felt the same way my first year. i felt like it was high school with older people. you need to exercise your independence a little bit more. try to find a party to go to. now im not saying to go and get wasted but go out and have some fun.

I'm getting worried. my boyfriend and I are long distance. We only have intercourse every 1 or 2 times a month. for the past 4-5 months we would have intercourse and a day later I would bleed for a bout a week. It's fairly heavy, like my period would be, but see the thing is my period would be like a week or two away. So does sex speed it up or what the hell? I have back pain, breast tenderness, cramps, HORRIBLE cramps I may add, all those of my normal period (yes including the cramps that sometimes make me want to carve out my ovaries... :b) Altough, I may add also, that the first two times we'd "tried" having sex, they were failures do to muh pain, he was my first. Well anyways, we didn't get it in at all, so it was more oral, no figering at all or anything, yet the next day I got some bleeding, I thought it was my period. I'm pretty convinced it it...since after this I don't get any bleeding till the next month. It's been bothering me, we use protection/ condoms. I don't know what is happening but it is worrying me, so please anyone know what could be going on? Don't tell me to go a doctor, I know that already and I will sooner or later, if that's all you can provide as advice save yourself the finger exhaust and don't type anything at all. ;O
A few things, The day before yesterday so, Monday we had intercourse, yesterday Tuesday the bleeding accured, it's fairly heavy and doesn't seem to be lightening up. Hmmm...

planned parenthood... or you can google pregnancy clinics near your zip code and as fot he bleeding you should probably get checked out by a gyn. i have chronic endometriosis and have the same symptons and am not allowed to have sex until it heals. currently i am in menopause trying to fight this off and it sucks my case is severe because i have had it for so long so you should go see a doctor because the sooner you get checked out the betetr.

During the Holocaust the Nazis took lots and lots of Jews into the death camps. I read about the Jews lining up to be burned to death or gassed to death. From the stories, it sounds like they didn't really fight the lines and just followed what the Nazis instructed. I'm just curious about the reasoning, really. I mean, I figure there were lots more Jews at these camps than there were Nazis. Why didn't the Jews fight back and do the things that we typically think to do in situations involving life/death?

the jews didnt realize what was going on at first and by the time they did they were to weak to do anything about it. the movie the boy in the stripped pajamas portrays this really well. the jews thought they were moving into less expensive housing they werent aware they were death camps.

I want to have a pet. I'm not talking about cats or dogs though. I would like a small pet that can be kept in a cage. My parents are divorced and I spend one weekend a month with my dad and would want to take the pet with me.
I'd like a fairly intelligent pet. Something that isn't too smelly would be nice. I have heard things about Chinchillas being cute but I have read plenty of times that they are very fragile. I don't want a fragile pet. Cute isn't REALLY important though.
I can do a few hours of maintenance a day with the pet so if it needs walks or playtime that is just fine with me. A friendly animal would be nice...something that could get used to being held sometimes.
My best friend suggested getting a rat but I'm not sure. What would you suggest? (link)

I don't want to see my friends get hurt at all. I tend to get a little too involved and concerned though so I end up being really controlling and overprotective. This has backfired on me because then they are afraid to tell me things they would normally share with me. I just don't want any of them to be hurt by anyone/anything, but how can I learn to be less controlling? It's frustrating because I always feel like I need to take charge and make the situation "safe" for them...even if it means controlling every tiny detail! (link)

and if you try to protect them too much then it will backfire.
so just remember that protectiveness is not always good. everyone has to go out and live their life because if they're protected from everything then they will know nothing

Story of my life:
was born in the philippines, we were wealthy back home. with a single mom, working as a part time nurse, and a full time manager of a computer company. She left all of this to go to Canada to work as a nanny so she could sponsor me so I could come to Canada and have a better life.
4 years after her hard work working in Canada with a minimum wage as nanny, all her hard work payed off as I am now living in Canada all thanks to her.
3 years later when i went to Highschool, in my first year I met this girl online that lives in California. We both fell in love with each other so we both decided to work out a long distance relationship. We would visit each other every summer and sometimes christmas if it was possible. 4 years have now passed and I hve now graduated from Highschool. Going to university
Me and my gf decide that we should go and live in California when i get my degree, because she is not really fond of the canadian cold winter and the lack of any little left of culture that canada has to offer compared to America.
Now my problem is this,I dont know how to leave my mom in 4 years when I get my degree. She is clueless tthat I have plans on moving to californa in four years. Idont know how to tell her, i know she will disapprove and I also know with my heart that I want to live with my gf in the states, get married ther and have a family.

I loaned my friend $600 nine months ago to help them keep their small business going. I have since learned that they blew this chunk of money on gambling and various things that were simply not related to the business. I feel like an idiot because I should have seen their immaturity and the warning signs; however, I would very much like to be paid back. When I loaned them the money, it was with the agreement that I would get the full $600 back within six months. Six months are up and they are telling me that I should wait longer. I suggested they pay me weekly until the loan is paid back but they refuse to agree to that.

unfortuenatly if you didnt have a signed agrrement i dont think there is much you can do. you can check into taking them into small claim court... it cant hurt looking into it.

Okay, here it goes! So, I have been seeing this guy a little over a month now, and the last time I talked to him was last tuesday after we had spent the night together again. I guess I consider him to be my boyfriend.
Well, I have tried to call him but he won't answer his phone. I drove down to his place and his truck is there so I know he must be home. I emailed him a couple of times now and he hasn't emailed me back. It's pretty frustrating.
Should I go ahead and move on or try and wait on him? We did have sex each time we saw each other since we started dating. My friend said maybe he used me but I don't know. So, I'm in college and yesterday I turned 19. I was hanging out in the library between classes and this girl that I've been talking to came in and sat near me. We talked a little, and before I left I finally asked her out on a date (set for Friday). She said yes and I was really happy. I thought it was like a birthday present from God or something cheesy.
So, today (the day after my birthday, obviously) I go on my Facebook. I see that she has sent me a message about how she only wants to be friends with me and didn't mean to give me the wrong impression. I feel like I couldn't get a girlfriend to save my life though. I've never had one and have never even kissed a girl. I'm sure it sounds pathetic.
