I am 12 years old and I haven't had my period yet but I think i will get it soon because i have already started puberty. But i just want to here other girls stories about their first periods so I know what to expect. I'm also kinda nervous cuse I live with my dad so i'll have to tell him when it happens. So any advice helps.

your dad has to know that its going to happen soon so you may be nervous but it wont ne that bad.
my first time was when i was 12. i had cramps the night before but i didnt know what it was until i woke up the next morning. unfortuneately my mother has already left for work and i didnt have a daddy so i was on my own. i figured out how to put on a pad and went to school. i wanted to call my mother from school but my principal... who happened to be a guy and young... wouldnt leave me alone. needless to say it was really embarassing trying to tell her with him standing right there so dont worry about how your father will react because my principal practically ran from the room after i told my mother

i was 12 when i started mine but i did the silything and didnt tell anyone because i thought it was embarisng and i use to take my mum's towels and luckly she didnt notice but one day i realised i had to tell her an live up to the embarisment and she was really understanding about it.
as you live with your dad it understand it might be abit awquark for you maybe you could speek to your grandmar or auntie or a female family member and then ask them to speek to your dad about it thats waht my mum did but he was totaly cool about it.
its naturall for you to be nervos but just remember its matural and your dad will be expecting it to happen
