so me and my friend are stuck in town going to university together, but we're not really feeling like we're in university, it feels more like high school or an after school program. it's our first year and we're not sure if it's just us or if we have to adjust, but our friends that went away to school say they're having fun, is this normal first year feelings? is it going to get any better?

AdviceMistress answered Friday October 16 2009, 11:46 am: There are some universities and colleges that may seem like high school...honestly the college I went to the first time was like REAL college it had the big campus and huge cafeterias and the classrooms were even bigger. When I transered my second semeser I felt like I wa sin high school all over again. You make the best of it though...give it some more time just let it sink in for a semester or the year and if you're really unhappy at the end I think you should think about transferring to another university. You want to make the college experience as comfortable as possible! [ AdviceMistress's advice column | Ask AdviceMistress A Question ]
