What does P.S stand for in a letter?

Question Posted Wednesday October 14 2009, 12:31 am

I was writing a letter the other day and realized that I had no idea what P.S. really stood for. I've seen it plenty of times, along with P.P.S, even. What do these letters actually stand for though?
