My very very good friends birthday is coming up. We just started being friends a month ago, when I met him & he's super cool. I've been thinking of getting him some presents, will you tell me if you think it's okay: Headphones [for his ipod because his are broken & they sound crappy] & the exorcist [original movie, he really wants to see it.] then i'm going to buy him a card & balloons, and also I wanted to make him a small cake. I'm really tight on money, so i was also wondering do you think he'd be okay w/ just me making him a cake and decorating it all pretty? instead of buying a cake? thanks so much. (link)

I want to download limewire because I've heard you can get free downloadable music from it.. but I don't know if it's safe, and I don't know if I'll get in trouble with the law or anything for using it. Does anyone have any experience with it or any advice whether to download it or to not? (link)

Limewire is illegal but nobody ever gets caught because millions of people use it. It's not like the police are going to come to your house and arresst you.

i have 2 best friends and we all hang out all the time but my two best friends have known eachother longer and they tend to leave me out ALL the time! Its annoying, it comes to the point where i dont want to hang out with both of them at the same time. When they arent together and im just hanging out with one of them its is soooo much fun! i have already talked to them about it so that wouldnt work...any suggestions? (link)

You should find another friend to hang out with. After you do that, they four of you could become a four group and not just three. That would work out better.

ok, im almost 14, and my bf is 14. We do have sex, but...all my friends are saying that i should tell a councelor or someone, y should i have to tell, i mean its my personall life. me and my bf kinda look goth, i don think that helps any, but yeah. and me and him have been having sex for a while, so...its not new to me or anything. and we havent been with anyone else. so why should i have to tell a councelor??? pleeeez answer. i rate 5's for good answers. Hi everyone!
I feel terrible. Allow me to explain. I'm Todd, and I'm 15. A friend of mine (female) was cutting herself and that she was really depressed. I went to the counselor at my school to make sure that she didn't do anything hurtful (like suicide).
When she came back the next day after I told the counselor, I found out that she was on a new anti-depressant: Zoloft.
On Friday, I found out that the principal called her down and said that she wouldn't be allowed back in school unless she had a note from her psychiatrist. She told me she might be out for a while. :-(
Some of my friends said I shouldn't tell the counselor (on the day before I told the counselor), but my parents and several people said that I should. I was pretty nervous, and I didn't want her to commit suicide or do anything terrible.
I feel terrible, like I made her go away. ;-( She's not sure when she'll be back, but I feel like I committed a crime or killed someone. :-(
I'm also afraid of what my friends might say when I go back to school tomorrow. Most of all, I feel terrible since I won't see her, and I don't know how long I won't see her either. :-(
Any comments, advice, please feel free to say so.

Hello everyone!
I was looking in the section "Browse Columnists" of course, to browse columnists! I notice the dark blue stars that made the stars seem all full. But i see people with 8 stars and they have like 1 or 2 of the stars gold? How come? And why do they have soo many stars when the "original" columnists have like 5 or 4 and its all filled with blue stars.
(and by blue stars i mean DARK BLUE..not the light blue but the dark ones that means they got it filled up)

I NEED A HORSE!!!! i love horses and i really want one.my friens tory got a horse last summer. my mom said its a posibility to get one.i was dreaming every night about having a horse after that.they havent said anything about it and win i bring horses up they allways change the subject.im sorry of making this so long but i am in need of your help.

Okay, as childish as this might sound, I needed to ask it anyways. I'm 15 female, and this other girl named; Rachael is 14. Rachael rides my bus & she was my first friend at school. I just recently moved here, she was/still is a loner too! After about a month she really started to annoy me, & I guess you could say I really don't like her AT ALL. But, she still follows me around, talks to me, etc. I'm not mean to her though - Seen as; I'm nothing like that. I'm seriously one of the nicest people alive. I really don't like to yell at people but if it becomes necessary, then I do. Today on the bus she took my purse because stupid me left it in the seat while I went back to my locker to get a book. When I got back she said, "I threw your purse out the window! Your love took the purse I don't have it!" Which really pissed me off. I asked her nicely for about 5 minutes, then I just lost it and totally flipped out, I really wanted my purse back & I knew she had it. She gave it back 10 mins after that and I ignored her the rest of the way home. When she asked if I was mad at her I said no, because I think it might seem childish if I were to say yes because she stole my purse & I defintiely didn't want to be the immature one in the situation. I was wondering, if I did right? Did it seem childish of me not to talk to her, or do you think that I did right? Thanks!!

Racheal needs to mind her own bissinuss. Sit down with her on the bus one day, and talk to her about how you feel, and how she's acting younger then she really is. Racheal needs to become more mature and you've already reached that level. People like that do not mix well as being good friends. If you could find more friends that are more mature, adult like you, then that would solve your new friend problem. Talk to Racheal and see if she gets mad. You don't have to completely be mean and loose it, but don't let her step all over you and take over. Stand up for yourself and believe that you can do it.

i have liked this guy for like 4 years. he is only related to me by marriage.hes my dads cousins husbands son. sorry if that confusing. but ever since i have saw him i have liked him. ever since i was 13. im now 17 and still not over him. i thought i was and told all my friends i was but im not. last year i just moved out of state so i dont see him that much. i only see him when i go to visit family. and when i do see him i melt. can ne body tell me why im not over him? ill rate 5s. thanxs alot. Maybe there is just this one thing that you seriously love about him. His Smile? His laugh? His jokes? Everybody goes through the same problems with guys and this one is very normal. See if you can find another guy and if all you can think of is his face and his smile and laugh then go for it!

Im 16 and scared! I have been on my period for 28 days (bleeding for 28 days) you only supose to only stay on 5-8 days. I just started using the new Nuva Ring (birthcontrol). okay well i just had to reinstall my sims 2 and redownload all my mods but i forget how to get them onto my game. i downloaded the winwar or whatever but what now? do the instal themselves to do i have to extract the files or what?

How do you get rid of all those website URL's in the address bar. You get what im talking about right? Like when you click the arrow next to go all those websites that you go to. Please help theres too many and its irritating. (link)

You're downloading things on websites and your probably just clicking next, next, next, Ok, Finish and things like that. Don't do that. Take the time to read them or else just stop doing it. Try to right click with your mouse on the address bar things and there should be like a check and you can uncheck it too. Sometimes it will say delete, but it depends on what kind it is.

Me and my cuzin have been pretty kool since my brother died. We have stuck together and all. She gives me rides to skool and does anything I ask her to do. She would jump in front of a buss for me! To be honest A part of me doesnt want a boyfriend right now and another part does. Ive been going out with my bf for two years today.. I'm still young and my boyfriend is two years older. I dont realy know what to do or say right now but ive felt like crap today. Its hard to expalin..When he kisses, hugs me, or anything i dont feel butterflys or somthing special. But.. When this new kid that i just met yesterday (ive hung out with him all day the last two days) if i just think about him i get butterflys and i can feel my heart pounding...

Your boyfriend is two years and two grades older then you and that is a little far away. The new kid that you met might be the one. If you still really do seriously like your boyfriend then stay with him. What I would do is hang out with this new boy, and then see how everything goes. If you do decide that he is the one [and that is your personal choice] then you should break up with the other boy. I hope that everything works out. When you get home go to a place in the house where it is quiet and nobody is around. Have a desk with all the pencils, ruler (etc.) that you need so that you won't have to get up and maybe get distracted. Try to concentrate on your work and keep your mind off other things. Maybe have a drink and lock your door so that you won't leave and get distracted.

i am so confused with this Boy his name is alex and well...i think he likes me but i am not certain of that.he is kinda cute though. here are some reasons why i think he likes me
1. i am the first one he asks when he needs a calculator
2. in spanish our seats are in rows and we get to choose our seats and he sits in the seat Closest to me.
3.We chat sometimes
4. I catch him staring at me for a few seconds

This could mean that he likes you or that he just wants to be friends. I think that he likes you, but maybe I could be wrong. Try to flirt with him and see how he reacts.
