okay so i have a friend,lets call her jenna. and i have another friend,lets call her kristen. me and jenna have been bffs since kindergarden but in 8th grade,jenna found new friends. and she did EVERYTHING with her new friends,including talking about me/leaving me out.

over the summer,kristen and I became pretty close.we both like the show,24(not the channel)and were both obsessed with it.i dont know if shes just using me or not,because i already told her that i "lost the seasons of 24" but then we were still friends. but sometimes i question,that in high school she wont be my friend anymore.

this just happened to me recently.
my friend m let say told me no one could replace our friendship. but i couldn't believe that because we were going to different highschools. she had a friend a, who is now her best friend i guess, and she has almost totally forgot how close we used to be. but then i realized we are going to highschool different ones, there are gonna be so many new people to meet, that by half the year is over we probably wont even remember their faces. so why be jealous and envie them because in a long run we will be better off without them than mooping around waiting for them. but when the want to be friends again and if we will already have our TRUE friends, that will be there for us. and idk well see them in 5 years and ask them if they were still friends with that person they say no but we are still bestfriends with the new and better people we meet in our highschool that are there for you.

there is this girli used to be bestof friends withfor about 2 years, and recently i have beenhaving huge problems with her brother and family, and i have kind of grown apart from her aswell... she is a really nice girl andfun tobewith but i just feel like i need time away from her, it is like she smothers me..always calling, always sowing up at my house, inviting herself to go out with me and my friensd, or me and my family (and my family hates her) she never gives me any space... and so well i want a break from out friendship for a while.. some weeks, maybe a mont or two... but i do not want to be rude and bitchy to her, i dont call her anymore (but she remains to call me) i dont invite her out anymore (but he always invites me out and i make excuses to not go)i dont talk to her on the internet (yet she keeps sendin me emails and offline messages) i would think she would getthe idea in her head that i dont want to talk to her, but she obviously hasnt... so what can i do? i dont want to be rude, because she really is a good person.. but i dont know what to do... i know i wont be able to just talk to her and tell her, because i feel like that is not nice...and i am running low on ideas...

Hi I just read your answer to this person's hair extension problem and I am Asian by the way.

Well I just got like 18 inch 100% human hair extension and I got this bonding glue thing. What my problem is, how come it came off so easily? like I just put the hair and all that, and later that day I exercised so im wondering if it was sweat. So i took a shower then I realized the side was coming off so i kinda tugged on it and it just came off... How can i make it stay longer?

well with thicker hair, and 18 inches is very heavy on the glue. gravity is pulling it down so much with the weight that the glue cannot sustain it. so the only way it can stay long is probably getting it weaved in. i hope i helped

After the orthodontists say that your have 2 more wires left, how long usually is it until you get your braces off?

well depending on your teeth, how far along have you think they've come. sometimes you can usually predict. so say he said two more wires then that means you might have 2 months for each wire, so that maybe be about another 6-8 months. but im not an orthodontist im just going by what my orthodontists tells me how to predict. hope i helped! have anymore questions, just message me

well first i'd like to thank you for pursuing your hair question/advice in me!

okay so first many black women get weaves as a way to fit in to a mainstream image of women (long and straight hair)

the two types of weaves i know are glue and sew in

sewing weave which is the best for your hair because it will actually make your hair grow and doesn't damage it at all. You braid your hair down then instead of gluing the tracks you sew it onto the braids. You can't feel anything although it sounds like it hurt (sewing it) you don't even know what's going on.

glue extension consist of putting glue in the weave track and onto your scalp. A lot of people don't like that method b/c it will most likely damage your hair if used too often.

you can get a full head weave or half head, if you get half it will cost less but you may have to get a realaxer also, which may cost more. and full head is probably equal to half head and a relaxer.

the final results will look spectacular. Make sure you get someone who knows how to do it otherwise it can look very bumpy. also they take a while so you may want to put one day away just for it. it last a while more than a couple of months. and one note on the glue weave it make have a nasty smell if you don't take care of it which is a minus, on that list.

me personally i haven't gotten a weave before, but have done it myself and have watched first hand of a full head weave get put in. once you find a style you like it is prefect. and it doesn't matter if you cut your natural hair alot cause you can always put a weave in which saves so much time and effort you may have each day on your hair.

i know this was alot to read but i hope it has cleared some questions up and helped you.

and some people do and some people don't get mad when you call them black. but most would prefer aferican american but i really don't care lol. well the reason why most black people get weaves is cause 1 most have really really coarse hair, and 2 it's very short. weaves give black people to fit into the mainstream image of women, long hair and straight, which a weave gives them with a relaxer too, unless it is a full head weave. if theres anymore you wanna know then just ask

Well I'm black, and alot of us get a weave better known as hair extensions. getting them sewn in is a better route than glue for us, but for races with thiner hair glue works almost better and it isn't hard to maintain unless it is very very long, also in sewing and sewing them can get loser if not tight, where as glue comes out when you want it too. if you have anymore questions please message me

my birthday is june 6 and i want to have a sweet sixteen. it will be at my gams house b/c she has a pool and a big yard. their will most likely be more girls then guys.

im moving to dallas, texas next year. i will be in 8th grade that year, and im moving from hillsborough, new jersey. it really sucks to leave everything here behind, because i've lived here since i was six, and i'm 13 now, so thats alot of my life. anyways, whats the best school you can go to in dallas? like middle school. i looked at one called lake dallas middle school.. and holy cow! for one, they dont have soccer (my fave sport) as one of their sports (though i like vball) and they have the ugliest dress code ever. so any better middle school s around dallas? i heard dallas is really big but i dont care.. list a couple that actually have websites. im so nervous.. i want to get in a really really good middle school with great kids, great teachers, lots of field trips, lots of sports, school dances, festivals maybe, and etc. haha i have a pretty high standard of what i want it to be like. hillsborough schools are amazing, its just that the 'Boro is getting a little boring now.. not that i'd want to move, but also cause my dad is getting some job there.

Well I live in San Antonio probably five hours away driving, and 30 minutes flying. Dallas has one of the best school districts under San Antonio's NISD lol. But try public school, the one in your area. Everything in Dallas is clean and nice, especially the schools. And if you don't like it try finding a public school. One thing for sure is that you will probably have friend in the first week, because everyone in Texas is friendly!

Hey. Well, I'm thirteen, and I've moved back in with my mom 4 years ago [my parent's got divorced, long story]. Just about half a year ago, my mom and I started to really get on eachother's last nerves. It seems like she never approves of anything I do, like wearing 'dark' eyeliner or painting my nails black. I can't even talk to her anymore becuase it's like she's insane or something. She doesn't listen to me, and yells from the conversation's start to finish. She won't even let me like make a deal with her, like I'll wear lighter eyeliner, but the nails stay black. All she does is comment on how I'm too skinny, or 'goth' or how my behavior changes when I'm with different friends, like they influence how I behave, which is NOT true. She also seems to think I'm like, so slutty, when compared to half the girls in my school, I'm like a saint. And, she thinks that I'm like, a druggie and when I go uptown with my friends from my dad's neighborhood, I'm up to no good.. when I'm not doing ANYTHING wrong. I've never smoked or drank, and I wouldn't, I would never be able to manage getting away with it. The point is, I can't stand my mom, and I can't even talk to her and tell her what's bothering me, or she has a fit over absolutely nothing... I'm not exagerating, either. Please help, I don't want to stress over this, and hate my own mother, but I really can't take her anymore.

alright well..

one of my friends has very strict parents. so they were looking at her search history and found her myspace. they also found mine.

i'm not aloud to have a myspace. my parents made it very clear that if i had one, i'd be in deep trouble. i wouldnt be allowed on the computer for a long time and when i am allowed to my parents would watch my every move. so on AIM, i cant talk to anyone about private stuff.

i deleted my account already but i dont know what to do. my friends dad said hes going to tell my parents. her dad is going to say he saw it a few days ago so there's no hiding that i actually did have one.

i really don't know what to do. i don't want to get in trouble and loose my computer rights. last resort would be to come clean but i don't want to have to do that. i need to get out of this situation. i really need help, and FAST!! please, does anyone have any advice?

can someone show me different cool hairstyles for braids i can get? im black, and i get extensions put in my regular hair. umm i want the hair to be long, not too long, and not too short, but i guess more on the long side. my hair is like dark brown and i'd like the style to kinda match with it.. meaning that it wont be blonde. basically show me different styles i can choose because im gonna get the mesh soon and i'll tell my mom what type of hair i want too (or show her the picture). im not really into cornrolls, its more like.. just braids, but if you find some that look really good, then im for it. and it has to be a type of hair that has extensions braided with the normal hair, or i cant have it done. please put multiple examples and dont tell me to like "google" it.
