friends or compedators?
okay so i have a friend,lets call her jenna. and i have another friend,lets call her kristen. me and jenna have been bffs since kindergarden but in 8th grade,jenna found new friends. and she did EVERYTHING with her new friends,including talking about me/leaving me out.
over the summer,kristen and I became pretty close.we both like the show,24(not the channel)and were both obsessed with it.i dont know if shes just using me or not,because i already told her that i "lost the seasons of 24" but then we were still friends. but sometimes i question,that in high school she wont be my friend anymore.
and jenna? well i dont know everytime i talk to her, i HATE her. you know? idk if i should be her friend,bc everytime i talk to her, im so jealous of everything she does. i mean she ALWAYS wins.
i mean shes so nice and stuff. but i dont know what to do
please help

Well, Jenna doesn't sound like a very good friend....talking about you, leaving you out? I bet the only time she talks to you or hangs with you is when her other friend aren't around. You;re her back-up friend and believe me, she doesn't care if she is hurting you...forget her...find some new friends.
As for Kristen? I think you both have stuff in common... But just in case, why don't you try talking to her...she might reasure you that she is your friend, and if she gets mad at your suspicions, I suspect that she is using you....overall...Kristen is the better friend, not Jenna.

this just happened to me recently.
my friend m let say told me no one could replace our friendship. but i couldn't believe that because we were going to different highschools. she had a friend a, who is now her best friend i guess, and she has almost totally forgot how close we used to be. but then i realized we are going to highschool different ones, there are gonna be so many new people to meet, that by half the year is over we probably wont even remember their faces. so why be jealous and envie them because in a long run we will be better off without them than mooping around waiting for them. but when the want to be friends again and if we will already have our TRUE friends, that will be there for us. and idk well see them in 5 years and ask them if they were still friends with that person they say no but we are still bestfriends with the new and better people we meet in our highschool that are there for you.
